Ava sat in the back of the car thinking about what they were going to do since leaving behind everyone they knew. She knew starting over would be hard but it was for the best. They have wanted fugitives from the council. Thanks to Thomas’s distractions to get us out there. Ava could not ask her brother about what he did. She should apologize to him.

Upon learning, Ava was a werewolf but considered a dormant one. Ava still needs to learn more about the supernatural. Keeping up with threats like Lucius. She has a feeling that he will become a major problem for them in the future. When they got near the highway to go out west of Pennsylvania to start over for now.

“Do you think staying in the state, for now, would be the best idea?” Ava asked.

“It would be for a short while. Not in the long run. We need to make sure we are safe enough first before traveling any further.” Thomas replied.

Margo sat quietly for a sec then asked, “What do you think will happen now that we escaped from the council?”

“There would be a manhunt for us. We need to get different identities for now.” Thomas suggested.

“You think that would be wise to do? We would need to move further out west, for now, to blend in more. How about we move to Montana? No one would know us out there” Ava suggests to them.

“Alright, fine,” Thomas agreed.

They spent the next couple of days laying low and only driving at night. The trio didn’t make it to Montana until about a week and a half later. Ava looked at the sign “Welcome to Billings”

The group thought a city would be best for a stay-in rather than a town. A town would make them noticed as outsiders. Ava did not want that.

“Well, I guess living in the city would do for now.” Ava sighed.

“We need jobs first and a place to stay. You will need to finish up the high school” Thomas said.

“I have a small trust fund my parents left behind out of the supernatural society” Margo mentions, “We could use it to keep things funded for now until we get a better foundation”

Thomas looked at Margo and asked, “ Wouldn’t the council be keeping an eye on it?”

“No,” Margo answered, “My parents had it place without the council's knowledge. So, it should be fine.”

The trio spent the next couple of days getting everything settled. Ava was registered at a new high school. Margo worked two jobs as a cashier and waitress to help save money for an apartment. Thomas worked as a volunteer fireman and part-time at an office. Everything set itself into a routine for them.

Everything was like this until someone unexpectedly shows up to make their lives a living hell for them. Lucius unknowingly followed them to Montana.

Ava wasn’t sure she feels about starting over at a new high school with a bunch of new people. To be honest, it was for the best. It was something she might need and not know it. For how long would things stay quiet for them? Unfortunately for them, they didn’t know trouble followed them.
