Arielle's

POV

Blood gushed out of my abdomen as I ran through the alleyways. My hand was tightly clasped over the wound in a futile attempt to stop the bleeding. The pain was excruciating, but I kept running, not wanting to slow down, I was scared my pursuers were closing in. As I ran, I could feel blood soaking my clothes, my fingers slipping on the slippery warm liquid. The world around me was starting to spin as my vision blurred. I staggered periodically, my steps faltering as I tried to regain my balance to no avail. My breaths were becoming shallow, my heart was beating fast, and I knew I was losing a lot of blood.

The sound of my frantic footsteps echoed loudly against the brick walls. I could hear the heavy thud of wolves running behind me, getting closer with each passing second. The sound of their paws hitting the ground in unison was a steady rhythm that sent chills down my spine.

My head was spinning, and I could feel the world around me start to blur. I fought to keep my eyes open, but they grew heavy, and I stumbled, nearly falling to the ground. The blood was trickling down my side, warm and sticky against my skin. The pain coursing through me made each step feel like an eternity.

I stumbled over a pile of garbage, and my knees buckled as I tried to stay on my feet. I was starting to lose consciousness, if I didn't get help, I would die.

I tried to focus on the sound of my heartbeat, hoping it would keep me grounded, but even that became fainter and fainter as I battled on.

Just when I thought I couldn't go any further, I saw a vehicle with its door open. Without hesitation, I made a beeline for it, hoping to replace refuge. As soon as I dragged my bleeding self to the car, my legs gave out, and I collapsed into the arms of someone standing nearby.

My eyes fluttered open, and I found myself being held by a pair of strong, muscular arms. I could feel the warmth of the person's body as he pulled me close, clutching me to his hard chest, as a soothing scent filled my nostrils, calming my frazzled nerves. I tried to focus on the person's face, to see who my savior was, but I couldn't focus on anything now. I heard the growling of wolves and another man screaming around me.

My mind was getting clouded, and I was struggling to make sense of what was happening.

The last thing I remembered before succumbing to unconsciousness was the feeling of safety that enveloped me in the stranger's embrace.

Consciousness slowly returned and my eyes began to flutter open. At first, everything was a blur, I had to blink a few times before the room slowly came into focus.

The bright lights overhead were painful to look at, so I had to squint to get my bearings.

My gaze immediately fell onto the unfamiliar ceiling. My mind was still hazy and I still felt weak, but I forced myself to take in my new surroundings.

As I tried to move, I realized that I was lying on a soft and comfortable bed.

My head throbbed with pain, and I groaned softly as I tried to sit up before falling back to the bed. I brought a hand up to my forehead, feeling a dull ache building there. I looked around the unfamiliar room once more, confused and disoriented.

The room was luxurious, with expensive-looking furniture and intricate designs on the walls. I observed the room in detail, taking in the large bed I was lying on, the grand chandelier above me, and the elegant curtains that covered the large windows. As I moved my gaze around the room, I noticed a dresser, a nightstand, and a few other pieces of furniture.

Everything looked pristine like it had been untouched for ages.

I slowly turned my head to the side, observing the rest of the room. I saw a closet, a door that seemed to lead to a bathroom, and a large painting on the wall opposite the bed.

I groaned, steadying myself once more as I forced myself to get off the bed, but my legs still felt weak and unsteady as my knees wobbled sending me towards the floor. I reached out to grab something for support, but there was nothing within reach. With my heart racing, I squeezed my eyes shut and braced myself for the impact of a fall.

Falling forward, I was surprised when someone caught me, preventing me from hitting the ground. I could recognize the scent, it was the same stranger that held it earlier. I opened my eyes to see three men in front of me, watching me with a mixture of concern and curiosity.

I felt my face flush with embarrassment at my clumsiness, and I quickly tried to stand on my own two feet, but my legs buckled and I realized I shouldn't have gotten out of bed in the first place. I had no other choice but to reluctantly allow one of them to guide me back to the bed.

"Where am I?" I asked, my voice quivering.

"Who are you? Why did you bring me here?"

"I need to get out of here," I concluded, standing up abruptly and remembering I was stabbed in my abdomen but it was healed now. I was grateful to them for saving my life but I wanted to leave nonetheless.

"That's enough, young lady. Sit down," Loki spoke for the first time, sternly.

I was taken aback by his tone, and I immediately found myself nodding my head as I slowly made my way back to the bed. Loki's commanding tone made me feel a little uneasy, but I couldn't deny the fact that it was effective.

Loki stood up from his chair and walked towards me, I backed away consciously, my eyes not leaving his.

"You're safe," he started.

"We won't hurt you. But you need to calm yourself down and listen to what we have to say first. Don't you think so?"

My heart raced as I stared at all three men.

"I'm Loki Van Tyson," he says firmly. "And these are my brothers Jonathan and Elijah."

He gestured towards his brothers who stood up to flank him, their expressions still.

My eyes widened in surprise.

"The-the Van Tyson brothers?" I screeched, my voice shaking with disbelief.

I remembered hearing about the Van Tyson brothers, triplets who were notorious for being powerful werewolves with a strong pack.

They were rumored to be ruthless, merciless, and feared by everyone.

The memory brought a sense of dread washing over me as soon as I realized the dangerous situation I had found myself in.

"You mean, the werewolf triplets?"

Now that I realized this, I noticed the striking resemblance between all three of them.

Loki was the tallest of the three brothers, with a lean and muscular build.

He had a sharp jawline and deep brown eyes that seemed to bore into one's soul. His wavy blond hair was styled in a neat and sophisticated manner, framing his handsome face perfectly.

Loki's serious and authoritative demeanor commanded attention and respect, but his dry sense of humor and occasional smirk hinted at a more playful side.

Elijah was a little taller than Jonathan. He was a muscular man with a sharp jawline and piercing black eyes.

He had short, messy blond hair that he often ran his fingers through, giving him a devil-may-care appearance.

His face was just as handsome as his brothers', with a slightly more mischievous expression.

Jonathan was a tall and well-built man with broad shoulders and a chiseled jawline.

He had wavy blond hair that reached his shoulders and piercing green eyes that seemed to sparkle in the light.

His face was ruggedly handsome, with a small scar above his left eyebrow adding to his allure.

Loki nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"That's right," he said, his voice low and rumbling.

"Seems like it's going to be a tough sell to get her to agree to our deal," Elijah commented, his tone light and teasing.

My eyes narrowed with confusion at Elijah's comment, unsure of what he was referring to. I looked from Elijah to Jonathan to Loki, searching their faces for some kind of explanation. My heart was beating rapidly. I couldn't comprehend what he meant by "their deal".

Stammering, I asked, "What are you talking about?"

Elijah sighed and looked at Jonathan and Loki before turning his gaze back to me.

"Look here, we know this may come as a surprise to you, but we have a proposal for you. We want you to marry us," he explained.

As the words left Jonathan's mouth, my eyes widened with shock and disbelief. My mind raced as I tried to process the absurdity of the situation.

When I finally found her voice, it came out as a stammer as I asked, "M-m-marry you?"

The shock was so real that I bolted out of bed as my eyes flew open, it was only a nightmare.

I hadn't had one in many weeks now and it only meant one thing, they would continue to plague me until I had my revenge over them.
