Awake At Dawn (Wildflower Series Book 2)
Awake At Dawn: eight years ago 12

Julian was clearly distracted.

His eyes constantly moved to Gemma’s friend, whose name I couldn’t really figure out, considering she’d been called three different things since their arrival.

Meanwhile, Gemma was preoccupied with the drink Julian had just put in her hand, sipping it down like she’d been parched as all hell.

And me? I was busy watching her.

It was a damn shame how perfect she seemed.

A perfect girl deserved a perfect guy, and I was far from that.

I felt when Julian’s glare found its way back to me, catching me staring at his sister.

It was probably for the best that he shut this down anyway.
