Before she knew it, it was the weekend again. Classes were over for the day and Lauren was busy for a while in the laboratory.

Since she was pregnant, she was afraid that the harmful fumes in the lab would affect the baby's development, so she did her best to reduce the time she spent in there. She made notes and compared the experimental data, and Lauren could almost smell victory in the air.

In the break room, after a few calculations and adjustments to the portions, she got up and handed it over to the lab technician.

"Conduct the experiment a few more times using this ratio! It's almost there! Send me the report after the experiment! Also, remember to do it in the order I marked down. Time it as accurately as possible, and the deviation should not exceed five minutes! Make sure to write down the deviations of the experiment for me!"

"Okay, I'll keep it in mind!"

Knowing that she was from the other side, Lauren smiled lightly and said without hesitation, "That reminds me, I still need a few mice for the experiments later on. Have it arranged for me!"

"They're available now. Do you want them to be sent to the laboratory? Or, to the hospital lab site?" After all, it was a school which tended to perform more basic or academic research rather than actually putting it into actual production. Therefore, one would be reaching for the sky to get a supply of mice in the laboratory.

"Then send it to the hospital lab! I just need the experiment results!"

It was getting dark when she left the laboratory that day. She had just crossed a secluded grove and stepped onto the main campus road when another burst of footsteps were heard.

Stopping short, Lauren subconsciously scanned around again. Sure enough, some girls were trotting all the way towards the direction of the entrance again.

This idea had just formed in her mind when a laugh came out of nowhere: "Miss Heady..."

Lauren looked back and saw two familiar girls, likely her students. She smiled gently and the two immediately warmed up to her.

"Your boyfriend is waiting for you at the entrance! He's so handsome..."

Hearing those words, Lauren's face instantly flushed. She froze for a long moment before she strained to say, "I see..."

Waving hands, the two of them left, chuckling. Lauren was so embarrassed that she couldn't help clicking her tongue.

"Goodness, didn't I tell him not to come here?"

While complaining, Lauren subconsciously quickened her pace. At almost the same time, her cell phone rang. She pressed the answer button, and she blanked out for a few seconds. What did he mean by "don't run"?

"Huh? How do you know... I'm running?"

Her footsteps paused and she immediately stopped. She gasped slightly.

The next second, accompanying the hurried footsteps was a deep voice drifting into her ears. "You tell me, how would I know?"

Through seeing it, of course!

Turning around, she saw the tall figure that had already passed through the small flower bed and was standing in front of her. Holding her cell phone, Lauren's eyes widened a little. "How did you know I am here?"

Her dumbstruck expression aroused joy in him. Willy raised his hand and poked her forehead. "Well, it seems like your pregnancy brain is going to last for longer! Aren't you afraid that the students you tutored would turn out to be bunch of dummies?"

As he said that, Lauren was able to make head and tail of what he had said. How else, she thought, could he have known? He must have tracked her location! Putting away her cell phone, she pouted unhappily at once.

"You're making fun of me again! You only know to attract attention here! You've become a big star in the university. A bunch of young girls are waiting and being your fangirls!"

As she spoke, the corners of her eyes even seemed to be directed at some people who were passing by and secretly taking photos.

Willy laughed.

Tapping her nose, Willy took all the things that Lauren was holding.

That day, Lauren was carrying the

bag she had just bought the other day, that had contrasting colors on

it, and there was the cute dog pendant on it too. Holding her hand, Willy for the first time felt that Ker figure was more rounded out than when he first saw her. Not only her body, but also her temperament. She was less cold, and more charming.

"Your Tutu's outgrown its kernel now. Do you want to visit it?" "Yeah, sure!" Squinting her eyes, Lauren nodded vigorously. Then, she turned to look at him. He laughed. "It's not that! Tutu is the same as you. It's pregnant!"

"What? Are you saying that my dog is pregnant? Is that why it's fat?" Screaming, Lauren burst into laughter as well.

"How long has it been?"

"Just one month now! Geez, this disobedient dog just went out once and returned with an inexplicable pregnancy!"

Willy was obviously joking, but Lauren's heart suddenly tensed up. If her family knew of her situation, would they think the same too?

The dog could give birth in a month, so it would be due even earlier than her!

The two of them returned to his villa,
