There was a knock outside the bedroom.

It came from Xiang Nanqian. “Lingye, it's me. It's Ms Mu's first night today. I didn't see her with anyluggage, so I am afraid that she does not have any clothes with her. I have brought over a set ofpajamas for her.”

She realized that she did not bring her pajamas into the bathroom.

She looked around. There was only one bath towel in the bathroom but it had been used by Fu Lingyeearlier. She had no choice but to walk out naked to retrieve her clothes.
