The corners of Rachel Grey’s mouth curled up slightly. It seemed charming, yet dangerous. “Even if I’mnot acknowledged, I am at the very least capable. What else can you do other than curry favor withLouis Smith by making use of your status as a daughter of the Cruise family? Even though I don’t wantto waste my time on you, I’ll remind you kindly that you won’t be able to reach my current height in yourlife! You don’t even have the right to be my enemy!”

“To me. Louis Smith is just a choice. To you, Louis Smith is your only choice! After all, the Cruise familyis different from before. Without Louis Smith as your backer, what else do you have?”

Rachel looked at Olivia Cruise with disdain and pity before turning around and leaving.

It was not until Rachel left that Olivia came back to her senses. She quickly chased after Rachel. Oliviawas not done with the argument yet. But then she saw Rachel a get into a

car.

It was different from the previous Rolls–Royce. This time, it was a simple and imposing Bentley.

Could it be that Rachel had a new sugar daddy?

Olivia quickly reacted and took out her phone to take a photo of Rachel bending down. and getting intothe car. She also took a photo of the license plate number of the car.

Then, she made a series of calls. “Help me check the information of the car owner in the photo. Thesooner the better!”

If Rachel’s sugar daddy found out she was just a disposable the Smith family had thrown away… Oliviacould not wait to see how the arrogant Rachel would end up.

After waiting for a moment, her informant said, “This car is registered under the name of the LuckyEntertainment Center. There’s only recent rental information.”

The word had caught Olivia’s attention. “Rental?”

“Yes, but the other party is anonymous, so I can’t replace any information for the time being”

“Got it.”

After Olivia hung up the phone, a sarcastic smile appeared on her face.

At first, Olivia thought Rachel had gotten lucky and hooked up with a sugar daddy, but it turned out thather sugar daddy was pretending to be a scion from a wealthy family.

Olivia had once ‘defeated” Rachel. Hence, Olivia deemed Rachel to be unworthy to be her opponent.

Rachel got into the car and fastened her seatbelt. To her surprise, the car had already started.

‘Aren’t we waiting for Mr. Griffin?” She looked at David Jones in surprise.

David blatantly lied, “We’re not heading the same way.”

Rachel did not think too much about it. “Drop me off at the entrance of Johnson Corporation later.

Feeling impatient, David frowned. “Are the elite teams at Johnson Corporation just for show?”

“Huh?” Rachel looked at him in confusion.

“Will the company go bankrupt without you?”

Rachel asked, “…What are you trying to say?”

“A “qualified” girlfriend should set aside a reasonable amount of time to accompany her boyfriendoutside of work. In other words, we should go on dates.”

“That doesn’t sound like you at all.”

“It can’t be helped. My girlfriend is too charming.” David looked at her. Affection seemed to ooze out ofhis black eyes. No one would not be able to resist it.

Rachel took a deep breath and controlled her impulse. “But I have a meeting this afternoon.”

“But I will miss you dearly,” David said. “Aren’t you tired? From running through my mind all day? Isuggest you accompany me this afternoon to comfort me and my longing for you.”

Rachel’s heart skipped a beat.

It was unbelievable that David would say such corny words of love.

“Rae–Rae, don’t you miss me?” She could hear the reluctance in his low and masculine voice. It washis natural voice and was pleasant to listen to.

Rachel’s eyelashes fluttered slightly. Looking at the man’s handsome face, her heart raceduncontrollably.
