“Dear, you finally picked up the phone!” Mr. Griffin’s voice trembled slightly in excitement.

Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly. “Tell me, how much are you planning to charge this time?”

According to her understanding of Mr. Griffin, he would never have called her if he was not desperatelyshort of money.

A cold glint suddenly appeared in Rachel’s eyes, and her delicate face was covered with a sullencoldness. “What do you want!”

“As expected of the boss of Glamour Pavilion, you’re so open-minded, Miss Grey.” The man smiledinsincerely and said, “We want 50 million USD to be sent to the pier in an hour! Otherwise, I’ll take thisold fogy’s life!”

With that, the other party hung up.

Rachel frowned slightly. Mr. Griffin usually stayed at home most of the time. Who could he haveprovoked?

For some reason, she thought of the suspicious car that tailed her yesterday.

Rachel immediately contacted Lucas and tracked down Mr. Griffin’s location through the phone call.

He wasn’t at the pier, but at an unfinished building.

Olivia happened to see Rachel’s car pass by her on the way back to the Cruise family’s residence aftermeeting a close friend for tea.

Rachel, who was in front, dialed Lucas’s number. “I’m heading to the unfinished building now. Bringsome people over to support me.”
