After Eddie returned to the company, he directly barged into David’s office.

David looked up. It was as if a dagger had darted out from the depths of his pitch–black eyes, exudinga destructive ruthlessness.

Eddie’s heart constricted under the man’s gaze. His hands that were hanging by his sides. weresubconsciously clenched into fists.

Sensing the low pressure around David, he could not help but take a deep breath. After hesitating for awhile, he said carefully, “David, I saw Miss Grey at the police station just now.”

Sure enough, after hearing the words ‘Miss Grey‘, the coldness between David’s eyebrows could nothelp but converge. He put down the pen in his hand. “Was she there to do something?”

Eddie noticed that David’s attitude was mellow and composed. Although he wanted to tease him, heknew that this matter involved Rachel, so it was to be taken seriously.

If anything really happened to Miss Grey at the police station, he would have to make up for it with hislife.

“I’m not too sure about the details, but I heard from the staff in charge of the case that Miss Greyseems to be involved in an illegal transaction as well as a case three years ago…”

Before he could finish speaking, David rushed out with his coat.

Eddie was stunned speechless.

Although he knew that Rachel was special to David, he did not expect David to care so much.

However, looking at David’s nervous attitude, he reckoned that his annual bonus could be doubled thistime!

“Then it was at the police station.

Rachel was seated on the chair with her legs crossed and one hand supporting her cheek. Every nowand then, she would look up at the clock hanging on the wall.

She seemed to be waiting for someone.

Of course, her little actions did not escape the eyes of the police officers in the surveillance room.

“Take a look. Are these people the ones you saw?”

As the door opened, a graceful figure walked into the police officer’s line of sight.

Olivia walked to the one–way glass in front of the surveillance camera and looked at Rachel who washandcuffed in the interrogation room. She felt that the depressed feelings that had been hovering in herheart had finally dissipated a lot.

Her gaze swept past Rachel and eventually landed on the fat man and the thin man. ‘It’s the two ofthem. I can recognize them even if they turn into ashes!

Back then, it was these two people who sold the replicas to her, causing her to be greatly humiliated infront of the people from the Smith family.

Hearing her affirmative answer, the police officers looked at each other.

The police officer said, “Miss Cruise, thank you for your help. You can leave after the registration.”

“Leave?” Olivia looked at the police officer in front of her in surprise. She calmed down a little andsmiled gently. “What I mean is, what will happen to these people after I leave? They cheated me ofmore than 400 thousand dollars!”

Although the money was nothing to Olivia, she was unwilling to leave just like that.

She wanted to see with her own eyes how Rachel slipped into despair. She wanted to see her in asorry state when she got thrown into jail!

“We’ll let you know if there are any new developments in the case,” the clerk said. “Miss Cruise, pleasefollow me.”

Seeing the staff’s firm attitude, Olivia did not say anything else.

However, when she left, she could not help but take a deep look at Rachel. An

imperceptible viciousness flashed across her eyes, like a poisonous snake hiding in the depths of thegrass.

The tables had turned. Now, Rachel was finally getting a taste of being ruined!

In the interrogation room, Rachel seemed to have sensed something. She looked glanced over with astraight face.

The woman’s almond–shaped eyes seemed to be stained with the frost of winter. There was a layer ofcoldness in the depths of her eyes, making one shudder.

The moment they looked at each other, Olivia’s heart seemed to be clenched by something, and herbreathing slightly stagnated.

Her eyes flickered slightly, and an imperceptible trace of panic and guilt flashed across her eyes. Sheblurted, “She can see me!”
