“Didn’t I tell you not to mention Rachel Grey in front of outsiders? Did you ignore my words?!” Mrs.Smith glared at Jane.

Because of Rachel’s existence, she had always been unable to hold her head up high in front of theother wealthy ladies.

She thought that she would be able to hold her head high after Rachel left the Smith family, but she didnot expect her life to still be unsatisfactory.

The name “Rachel Grey” was like a lingering haze that loomed over the Smith family.

“But it’s different this time!” Jane blinked, her eyes filled with a gloating joy. “Someone exposed thatshe’s suspected of illegal transactions. I’m afraid she won’t be able to turn things around this time!”

Originally, Jane’s heart had always been filled with hatred for that slap in the hospital. Later on, shewas grounded because of Rachel.

She hated Rachel to the core and cursed Rachel to hell every day.

Now that she saw that Rachel was going to suffer, she was naturally overjoyed.

“Illegal transactions?” When Mrs. Smith heard these words, she could not help but show a stronginterest on her face.

She took out her phone and looked at the unsightly comments in the comments section with interest.The mocking smile on her face intensified. “In the end, you’re just an unpresentable country bumpkin.Do you think you can do whatever you want just because you have control over Glamour Pavilion? Inthe end, someone still managed to get hold of evidence against you!”

She wanted to see what right Rachel had to be arrogant now!

“What evidence?” Old Mr. Smith’s voice suddenly sounded.

Mrs. Smith’s eyes flickered slightly. “Nothing.”

Although Old Mr. Smith was advanced in years and did not pay much attention to things on theInternet, he could sense something unusual from Mrs. Smith’s sarcastic tone.

“What’s wrong with Rae–Rae?” He looked at Rianne, who was sitting on the sofa. His turbid eyesdarkened slightly, revealing a hint of

“Well, Rachel was arrested by the police because she’s suspected of taking part in illegal transactions.”Jane was still brooding over Old Mr. Smith’s beating. already treated her as well as we can. Don’t say that we have let her down again in the future. After all,she was the one who took the initiative to break up with Louis back then. She even pretended to begenerous and refused to accept Louis’s compensation.”

“Fortunately, she has severed ties with our family now. Otherwise, wouldn’t our family be implicated byher and suffer with her!?! Since she was caught by the police this time, her crime is most likely set instone. Don’t mention inviting her to the anniversary celebration again. She’ll be a disgrace to the Smithfamily!”

Upon hearing Mrs. Smith’s words, Old Mr. Smith’s expression turned slightly sullen. “Even if you lookdown on her background, don’t forget that if it weren’t for her help, the Smith family wouldn’t havemade it this far! She has to attend the anniversary celebration!”

Hearing this, Mrs. Smith looked down to hide the coldness in her eyes.
