Rachel, who was in the interrogation room, naturally noticed something fishy when he saw this.

She squinted and looked at the female reporter who was leading the way. Her red lips curled into afaint smile. “You want an explanation?”

“Of course!” The female reporter looked into Rachel’s cold eyes and held her breath.

She took a deep breath and straightened her neck, looking self–righteous. “Everything is aboutevidence. You said you’re innocent. In this case, you have to show evidence to prove it, right?”

At this moment, a male voice sounded. “We rushed over. We finally made it.”

Everyone’s attention was instantly diverted. They subconsciously turned to look at the man who walkedin.

The man had a buzz cut and was wearing a dark leather jacket. Not only was his figure perfect, buteven his face was stunning too. His resolute facial contours could beat those exquisitely dressed younghunks outside in minutes.

He was simply a dreamboat.

For a moment, all the female reporters present were dumbfounded, and their faces were graced withthe shyness of a young girl in love.

When Lucas entered, he placed all his attention on Rachel.

He sized up Rachel from head to toe. After confirming that she was safe and sound, he finally feltrelieved.

Fortunately, she was unscathed. Otherwise, he would have been whipped again.

The moment Don saw Lucas appear, his eyes widened in disbelief. His trembling pupils were filled withshock and horror. “Captain Johnson!?!”

He was no stranger to this name.

This was a person who was even more legendary than Chief Holmes.

He enlisted at eighteen, became a second lieutenant at twenty, and was

promoted to colonel at twenty–four. He was known as the youngest colonel.

Don had fought side by side with Lucas during his military service, so the two of them formed a deepfriendship.

“You want evidence, right?” Lucas turned around and brought over a person who had been beaten upinto a pulp from the door. He took out the testimony from his pocket and handed it to the interrogator.“The last suspect has been arrested. Now, we can interrogate the other two suspects together.”

Rachel stood up casually and gave her seat to the person who was captured by Lucas.

Under everyone’s attention, he confessed to his crimes.

Rachel’s suspicion was naturally cleared.

This turn of events caught everyone off guard. They never expected that the suspect would be caughtwithin such a short period of time and admit to all the crimes without hesitation.

“How do we know if this person you caught isn’t just a scapegoat?” The female reporter jumped outagain to force her presence. “Look at his bruised face. I’m afraid he was tortured into confessing,right?”

On the way to the police station, Lucas did not miss the live stream. He was no stranger to thisreporter.

Every time things came to an end, this person would always step forward and stir up trouble again.

She was determined not to give up until she dragged Rachel down.

“Sir?” Eddie asked David for instructions.

He really couldn’t take it anymore. He didn’t know which newspaper house that reporter was from buthe couldn’t understand why she kept

harping on it and refusing to let Rachel off!

David looked up, his dark eyes flickering with a hidden hostility. “Go and replace out who instructed her.”

That

person was obviously being unreasonable. He was clearly doing it on purpose.

Eddie was secretly delighted. David was finally unable to sit still and was about to make a move.

However, he did not show it on his face. Instead, he replied, “Yes.”

When he reached the door, he bumped into a group of people.
