Hearing what his father said, Louis Smith could not help but smile bitterly. “Dad, she has been in theSmith family for so many years, and I bet you know her character inside out.”

Once Rachel Grey decided on something, no one could ever change her mind.

After everyone left, Rachel Grey looked around and noticed that David Jones’s seat was empty.

Adrian Johnson looked at Rachel Grey and said mockingly, “Why aren’t you leaving? You can’t bear toleave?”

She suppressed the sadness in her heart and took a light breath. “Okay, let us go.”

Adrian Johnson walked in front while Lucas Johnson and Rachel Grey followed behind. Lucas Johnsonhad one hand in his pocket.

“Didn’t we agree to act together only after I arrive? Why are you acting on your own again!” LucasJohnson hushed his voice.

He was anxious about it.

Rachel Grey smiled cheekily. “I couldn’t help it.”

Lucas Johnson was speechless.

This reason was as perfunctory as it could be.

However, he knew very well that Rachel Grey was worried that something would happen to Mr. Griffin.That was why she barged in.

He then subconsciously took out a cigarette from his pocket and wanted to smoke. However, when OldMr. Johnson rolled down the window, Lucas Johnson felt an inexplicable discomfort at the back of hishead.

He quickly put the cigarette back. “You’re making waves so big that it will be hard for him not to notice.”

Moreover, Rachel Grey had been under the watchful eyes of Old Mr. Johnson since she was a child.He would react at the slightest matter. How could he pretend not to know about this?

Rachel Grey looked at David Jones’s car, fluttered her eyes, and looked at Lucas Johnson with a faintsmile. “Lucas dear…”

“Shush!” Lucas Johnson immediately interrupted her. He took a step back in an effort to draw a linebetween them. “Your ‘dear‘ is too heavy for me to accept, honorable Miss Grey.”

Rachel Grey walked towards Old Mr. Johnson’s car with a heavy heart.

Lucas Johnson looked at Rachel Grey’s departing figure and suddenly realized that he had forgotten toask Rachel Grey where she had stayed last night.
