Chapter 292
Chapter 292 Jane’s Shamelessness
Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly. Suddenly, she wore a smile, cold–blooded and arrogant. “I’m therule here!”
From the beginning to the end, no ferocious expression appeared on Rachel’s face.
Even if Rachel was angry, she only raised her eyebrows slightly. Even so, the pressure Rachel emittedmade people fearful.
Barry looked at Rachel in a daze.
Alan walked forward and whispered something into Barry’s ear. Barry instantly felt as if he had beenstruck by lightning. Barry stood rooted to the ground in a daze, the emotions in his eyes changingrapidly.
This woman was actually the boss of Johnson Corporation!
“Oh right, remember to wrap that suit for me.” Rachel pointed at the man’s suit hanging on the counter.
Barry was stunned for a moment before he immediately forced a smile and said, “Take this suit as ourbrand’s apology to you, Miss Grey. It will be sent. to your house later.”
Barry looked flattered as if he had obtained a chance to atone for his sins.
Rachel nodded. “Thank you.”
With the arrival of the security guards, all the crying employees in the shop were chased out to preventthese people from disturbing Rachel.
Jane, who was standing on the spot, slowly came back to her senses. She lowered her eyes to hidethe panic in them and quietly blended into the crowd.
“Miss Smith.” Rachel’s cold voice sounded behind Jane slightly. “Have you forgotten somethingimportant?”
When Jane heard Rachel’s voice, not only did she not stop walking, but she also even lowered herhead and silently quickened her pace.
Unexpectedly, when Jane reached the door, a security guard blocked her way and grabbed her arm, dragging her to Rachel.
“Let go!” Jane shouted angrily. “Let go of your dirty hands! Don’t touch me!”
Jane looked up and was caught off guard by Rachel’s gaze. Jane’s heart skipped a beat and her eyesflickered with unconcealable panic. “Rachel, what are you trying to do!”
“A bet is a bet. Miss Smith, don’t tell me that you can’t afford to bet?” Rachel wore a faint smile, like ablooming poppy, dangerous and charming.
Jane’s face blushed. She stood rooted to the ground, not knowing what to do.
From the corner of her eye, Jane saw Olivia standing not far away. Instantly, Jane rushed over as if shehad grabbed onto her last life–saving straw. “Olivia, what should we do now?”
Olivia, who was pulled over as a shield, was so angry that she almost gritted her teeth.
This idiot!
Jane actually didn’t forget to drag Olivia into this in front of trouble now!
Olivia took a deep breath and the disgust in her eyes disappeared in an instant. Olivia revealed agentle smile and said, “Miss Grey, you still have to stay in Seaxas from now on. It’s inevitable that we’llsee each other every now and then. Why do you have to be so ruthless?”
“A bet is a bet. Kneel!” Rachel said coldly.
Rachel’s powerful voice echoed in the quiet shop.
A cold and noble aura seemed to emanate from the depths of Rachel’s bones, exuding an oppressiveaura.
Jane had always looked down on Rachel’s innate temperament. Jane straightened her neck and saidangrily, “Don’t say that a bet is a bet! It’s obvious that you schemed against us! You clearly have theblack gold card, but you didn’t take it out early!”
“Oh?” Rachel was so angry that she laughed at Jane’s accusation. Rachel raised her eyebrows slightly.“Isn’t it because you guys disregarded the principle of first come, first served? You openly and covertlytargeted me and schemed against me, trying all means to ruin my reputation? You guys were the oneswho confidently set up the bet. Now that you lost, you’re going back to your words?
“Could it be that the Smith family, who has always been honest, is going back
on the word now? Is this the Smith family’s upbringing?”
Originally, it was just a conflict between the three of them. Now, because of Rachel’s words, the Smithfamily was dragged into it.
