In the past, when he saw Olivia crying like this, Louis would comfort her

right away.

But now, Louis was really upset. He was not in the mood to comfort Olivia.

With his back facing Olivia, he smoked silently with a cold expression on his face.

He just sat there and let Olivia cry while she hugged him.

“Louis, I’m such a loser. Rachel is much better than in every aspect, but I just wanted to help you…

Olivia threw herself in Louis’s arms, secretly calculating the time and waiting for Louis’s comfort.

Olivia looked down to hide the scheming look in her eyes.

She slowly let go of Louis’s waist and said, “Louis, I’m terribly sorry. I’ve disappointed you so manytimes. I’ve failed your trust and your love for

me…”

Finally, Louis, who had his back on her, reacted a little.

He stubbed out the cigarette in his hand and threw it into the ashtray. “Stop overthinking it. Have agood rest. We’ll leave tomorrow morning.” As he spoke, he picked up his suit jacket from the sofa andwalked out. Olivia grabbed his wrist hastily and asked, “Where are you going?”

Louis looked up at her and his calm gaze was cold and sharp like a knife.

Olivia’s pupils instantly constricted anxiously as she said, “I’m just worried about you…”

“I’m just going out for a while. I’ll be back soon. You don’t have to wait up for me.” Louis shook Olivia’shands away and left without even looking back.

Olivia looked at him as he left and her heart sank.

Ever since she came back to Crucsia, Louis’s attitude towards her had never run cold. He was neverimpatient with her either.

But now, she could vaguely sense that something about Louis had changed.

Now, she could not understand Louis’s thoughts at all.

This only made Olivia more afraid.

She bit her lips with her pearly white teeth, and her beautiful eyes flickered.

She had to think of a way to get back at Rachel. Otherwise, it would be too late by the time Louis cameto his senses!

Rachel and David returned to the hotel.

She took some clean clothes and walked into the bathroom.

The warm water poured down on her like soft silk and chased all the weariness away.

She played with the water and leaned against the headrest of the bathtub, slowly closing her eyes.

For some reason, she thought of what Eleanor had said.

“Rae–Rae, he’s not suitable for you. You can’t be together!”

prohibits marriage to people outside the island?”

Actually, she trusted David with all her heart, but when she heard this rule, she couldn’t help butbecome more curious about Aureliana.
