“Those who pretty all have tempers.” A hint of a smile flashed across Lucas’s dark eyes. He gave Dana look and gestured, “Go and bring the horse over.”

When Olivia heard this, a meaningful smile flashed across her lips.

Rachel’s horse was delivered to her by the staff. The horse would sometimes puff out a heavy breathfrom its nostrils and rear up on its front feet. It seemed wild. Rachel took the reins and stroked itsmane.

At the sound of Lucas’s suggestion, Rachel answered casually, “Let me try it myself.”

In other words, she did not need Lucas’s help.

He arched an eyebrow and gave Rachel a comforting glance before saying, “Be careful, then.”

Rachel looked in the direction of the voice and saw Brenda standing in the crowd.

Brenda looked at Rachel’s arrogant attitude and the hostility in her eyes became gradually obvious.

“Since you can say that, it seems you’re quite confident in your riding skills, aren’t you?” She took astep forward, her chin slightly raising and her moist red lips curling into a playful smile with a hint ofprovocation. “How about we have a little competition then?”

Her words and actions were filled with the proud and unrestrained demeanor of a young girl.
