Between Love and Loathing: Chapter 21
“I want to take care of you now, Dominic,” I whispered as I slid off his face and released my grip from the headboard. I moved across his chest, then his hard abs, and onto the bulge in his trousers.
He was still wearing pants after giving me the best orgasm of my life, and I wanted to return the favor. He’d given me orgasm after orgasm and then denied himself pleasure I was more than willing to give.
The fitting room had been the only time he’d allowed it. And I didn’t even get him the way I wanted to there. We’d had another woman’s eyes on him and not enough time to really enjoy it, for me to learn how to really take him all.
My hands were at his belt buckle when he stopped them. “You need to shower and get some sleep before the market with Valentino, remember?” He sneered Valentino’s name like he suddenly hated the man.
“You eat me out and then deny yourself of getting any.” I rolled away from him. “Why? I want to have your—”
“You drank tonight, little fighter. Tomorrow, if you want, I’ll bury my cock so far in your mouth, I’ll touch the back of your throat.”
Normally, I would have rolled my eyes at such a statement, but I’d felt how big Dominic was in my mouth already and knew he’d actually be able to do that, no problem. My mouth watered at the thought, and I tried to breathe in deep as I turned to him and propped myself up on an elbow. “I’m not drunk.”
“Not sober either,” he retorted and lifted a brow.
“So what? You’ll only fuck me when I’m sober?” My voice was high-pitched in surprise.
“Don’t drink when you want cock, baby. Not that hard.”
I glanced at the bulge in his pants and my hand shot out on its own accord to touch the length of him. I wrapped my fingers around it over the fabric and squeezed. “Very hard, Dominic.”
“Careful, Clara.”
“Or what?” Every time I fought him, his eyes darkened, his muscles bunched, and his voice deepened. I was becoming obsessed with every single one of those changes I saw when I pushed him.
“Or I’ll remind you who’s the boss here.”
I stroked him as best I could and the tendons in his neck tightened. “Are you sure you are?”
He sat up fast and grabbed my hips before throwing me over his shoulder and stomping his way to the bathroom.
“Dominic, seriously,” I laughed and smacked his back, “I don’t want to shower!”
He didn’t care, just turned on the shower in my bathroom and tested the temperature before he set me under the water’s spray. He dragged a hand over my bare stomach and then up my breast and around my back to undo the hooks of my bra, the fabric’s color deepening as water hit it. When the bra gave way, he slid it from my arms and then stepped back. I didn’t close the curtain when he started to undress.
His abs were defined, the V toward his cock pronounced and strong. “Take in your boyfriend, Clara. I’m all yours.”
I watched as he unzipped his trousers, shucked them down with his boxers, and then stroked his massive cock. Once, twice. And one more time before he stepped out of the rest of his clothing and crowded me into the shower. I reached for him immediately, wanting him on me, in me, and all around. I kissed him with passion, lost in him more than I’d been lost in anyone in a long time. I gripped his cock again, hoping he’d changed his mind.
He pulled back and dragged a hand from my waist to my breast. “So pretty. So sweet. Still, you don’t listen.” He circled my nipple but didn’t give it any attention. It tightened and I whimpered. From there, his hand went to my throat. One by one, he softly wrapped his fingers around the column of it before he pushed me back against the tile, the cold at my back and his heat and the water at my front. He hovered over me, his hand tightening.
Instinctively, my hands went to his wrist, and he smiled, his eyes filled with a new type of hunger I’d never seen there. “Want me to stop?” he whispered.
He asked me that question right as his other hand brushed over my sex again.
I couldn’t tell him no, my legs were already spreading, and he was already chuckling at how soaking wet I was for him again.
“I think you’re going to like your fake boyfriend showing you how comfortable we can be together.”
“Comfortable or not, we need rules for this.”
“Should I show you the rules, little fighter? One of them will be that you don’t even think about other men.”
I lifted my chin and raised an eyebrow just to piss him off.
“See, and already I think you’ll like defying my rules. I can put you in your place nice and rough though.”
On the last word, his fingers thrust up into me, and he cut off my oxygen supply. He whispered in my ear to squeeze his wrist three times if it was too much. I just shook my head over and over, my eyes shutting as fireworks burst through my body, the adrenaline of not breathing but having pleasure delivered instantaneously wasn’t too much like I thought it would be. It was too good.
I clawed at his wrist, tears streaming down my face, and then he lowered his head and bit one of my nipples just hard enough. The pain, pleasure, and adrenaline moved through me as he let go of my neck so I could gasp and then scream in ecstasy.
I crumbled against him as he murmured, “That pretty pussy is only going to want me from now on. I’ll fuck you soon, little fighter, but only if you listen.”
All I could do was nod as he grabbed some soap and added it to the loofa. He rubbed it softly over my body, practically holding me up as I shivered at his touch.
Honestly, I might have blacked out or nodded off once or twice as he washed me, his hands massaging every part of my body, getting rid of aches and pains I didn’t even know I had. I coughed a little when I stirred in the shower where he’d sat me down to finish shampooing my hair. “Let’s get you to bed, cupcake,” he murmured.
Then, he toweled me off, mumbling something about mold in the bathroom.
“Oh, right. The landlord is—”
“Working on it?”
“Um. Yes.”
“It’s a health hazard. You should move. If you need a place to stay for a while, I’ve got room.”
Did I hear him right? I chuckled and pulled the towel tight as I stared at him drying off. “I don’t really think it’s that big of a health hazard. And this is LA. You can’t replace an apartment that fast.” Well, not one within my budget. I yawned and coughed a bit again.
His jaw muscle ticked up and down, up and down. “I’m not kidding, Clara. How long have you had that cough?”
“Oh. No, not long. I think it’s just allergies from—”
“You always cough like that after showering in there?”
“I …” Now that I thought about it, probably. “No. Are you the health police?” He was worrying me with his eyes roving over my body like he was checking for ailments.
“You’re a fucking terrible liar, Clara. I swear to Christ.”
“I’ll figure it out tomorrow, Dominic. We need to put boundaries in place. This sleeping over isn’t realistic. So, just this once you can sleep in my bed.” Because my heart wasn’t going to survive much more of it. I grabbed a sleep shirt and didn’t bother with much else as I plopped into bed.
He barked out a laugh and didn’t even consider putting clothes on as he slid under the blankets. “You know I never sleep with women in their bed?”
I frowned, half asleep and half confused. “Why?”
“No reason to get close.”
“So why are you now?” I asked softly.
“Well, you said just this once, cupcake.”
“Right. And I’m serious. And I’ll probably be up early, but feel free to sleep in. I have to make sure I’m on time when I meet Valentino at the market for produce.”
I was drifting off to sleep when I heard him mumble, “When he meets us at the market.”
