Billionaire's Reborn Baby -
Chapter 1062 Roxy Copper Seven (3)
Collin put out his cigarette, "I'll catch a ride to the town with you tomorrow and buy something."
"What do you want to buy?" But Leon realized that he asked the wrong question. "What? Are you gonna come back? All right. Your wife and children are still here. Will you stay? What if she refuses to go back with you?"
"I have a resignation letter on my computer. Please turn it over when you get back." Collin patted Leon's shoulder, "If she doesn't want to come back, it's ok. I'm ready for that."
And Collin went in.
Leon smoked his cigar, "Fuck."
When Collin and his men were getting in the car the next day, many students came out and watched them drive away. Livia was also standing in the crowd. Collin saw her and waved to her. Livia ran to him, "Uncle Collin, what's going on?"
Collin squatted down and asked, "I'm leaving. Can I give you a hug?"
Livia was a little shy and thinking for a moment, "Sure."
Collin hugged her.
"Mr. Collin! I want to hug you too!" Other children also shouted instantly.
Collin smiled and hugged the other children, but he stared at Livia.
Leon stood there and got jealous, "Why does no one want to hug me?"
"Because you are not as good-looking as Mr. Collin!" The children laughed and joked about him.
"Oh, God! You are breaking my heart!" Leon covered his chest.
Other children let out a peal of laughter.
Livia was also smiling.
Collin thought that my daughter was so sweet.
She must have been prettier when she was a baby. She would lie in her mom's arms. Her bright eyes kept looking at the world with curiosity.
She babbled.
She staggered.
When she could speak, what was the first word she said? Mommy or daddy?
Unfortunately, as a father, Collin didn't see that.
"Mr. Collin, you are crying!" Children cried out surprisingly.
Livia was astonished and looked at him.
Collin smiled and wiped his tears, "I don't want to leave you. Goodbye."
The group of students waved their arms and shouted, "Goodbye!"
When they got on the bus, Leon took a seat, "God! Finally! We can go back."
Collin sat next to him and checked the map on his phone. It took two hours to arrive at the nearest town.
"You haven't told me what you want to buy." Leon came over.
"Just buy some stuff." Collin turned off the phone screen.
"All right. As you wish." Leon closed his eyes with his arms crossed and fell asleep soon. When he woke up, it was raining outside. Collin patted his shoulder, "Goodbye. Don't forget to turn over my resignation letter."
Leon mumbled and answered him.
Collin got off with his bag. He did not have an umbrella and got wet in the rain.
Leon shivered and remembered something.
The bus had moved off. Suddenly, Leon stood up and shouted, "Wait! Please!"
He rushed out of the bus, "Collin!"
Collin turned around. He was drenched in the storm and looked like a wreck.
Leon stood in the heavy rain and shouted at him, "I remember where I saw her!"
"What?" Collin was puzzled.
"I was in a rescue program in Heving City. Do you remember that? I almost forgot about it. It was many years ago. Do you remember the fracture on your wrist? You just recovered from that and I was the only one there. Do you remember?" Leon sputtered.
Surprisingly, Collin understood.
"I saw her!" Leon became excited, "She was trying to replace someone at that time and bumped into me!"
Collin also remembered that.
It was a dark night.
With one naked foot, she left a trail of blood on the ground from the lift to the door.
"It's her!" Leon walked up to Collin and patted him hard, "She asked many people whether we had ever seen Doctor Mueller!"
Collin was dazed for a second.
"What did you say?" The rain was so loud that he did not hear it clearly.
Leon grabbed his shoulder with both hands and shouted, "I remembered! She was looking for you that night!"
The bus left while Collin was standing there alone.
Heavy rain surrounded him, and his world collapsed into pieces. It seemed that every piece was moaning.
'Where did it go? What happened to you?
'Answer my question, okay?'
That night.
Roxanne thought that Collin went to Heving City to rescue people. She was worried something might happen to Collin, so she was desperate to replace him.
But where was he then?
He was on a blind date with Jade.
His phone was taken away by Mrs. Mueller.
It was a strange combination of circumstances.
How much had he missed in the eight years?
Collin could only recall Roxanne's words that night, "Mr. Collin, you'd better mind your own business."
He thought that it was not love.
