Billionaire's Reborn Baby
Chapter 973 Passing Away (3)

Jenny's followers diligently served Lucy tea and water. They also tidied up the table and the books. Emily raised her eyebrows and looked at them. She heard Tatiana and Marley bickering behind her. On the left, Violet was reading a comic book. On the platform in front of her, Jenny was carefully wiping the blackboard. In the last row of the classroom, the boys huddled together to discuss the equations. Class F had completely changed.

It was as if they had been reborn. They astonished their teachers.

All these changes were all because of a person.

At the end of June, on the day of Emily's examination, there was a drizzle.

Vincent helped her put on her coat and checked her stationery bag. Then he hung her schoolbag on her shoulder and lowered his head to kiss her lips. "Come on."

"Alright, stay home and wait for me," Emily said as he touched his chin.

She did not know that a few minutes after she went out, Vincent received a call from Randy.

"Boss, my grandfather passed away."

When Vincent went out, he happened to encounter Lord. She just came down from upstairs. Vincent did not look at her and went straight downstairs. Rex walked with a black umbrella.

Lord went to buy breakfast. An electric bicycle was parked on the side. An old man came down to buy steamed buns. Lord glanced at the rearview mirror and saw Rex getting on the car with a bunch of flowers in his hand.

The flowers were white.

It was a chrysanthemum.

"Hey, it's your buns."

The boss shouted for a long time before Lord came back to her senses and paid.

She stood at the intersection in a daze for a while, then took out her phone and called Randy. Randy answered the phone after a long time.

Both of them were on the phone, and neither of them spoke first.

"Where's Grandfather?" Lord asked.

Randy's breathing came through. After a long breath, there was a slight trembling sound of breathing. Lord could feel his pain and sadness through his breathing. "I'll be right there." After she hung up the phone, Lord quickly ran home and changed into a black suit. Then she called a car and said, "To City Y."

After sitting in, she saw that it was Guard D.

Lord was a little surprised, "Why are you here?" She looked around, "Where is the driver?"

Guard D drove the car out skillfully and glanced at the Lord through the rearview mirror. "Don't worry. He in a good place."

The driver was trapped in the trunk. His mouth was gagged. He felt wronged and helplessly shed tears. Why did he meet the bastard who liked to hijack taxis again? Guard D drove the car very fast. He knew that Carl had passed away, but he said nothing. For him, sending Lord to City Y at the fastest speed was the greatest help to her.

Lord took several calls from the car.

One was from Rollo. He asked her why she had not come to the morning self-study.

The other one was from her class teacher. He said that Rollo asked for leave for her and said that she had a stomachache. The class teacher came to confirm whether it was true or not.

The last one was from Rosa.

Lord did not want to speak. When she received the call, she had no choice but to open her mouth to speak. Her voice was very mechanical.

"Casey, are you sick now?" Rosa asked softly, "I heard from Rollo that you are sick. How are you now?"

Lord said thank you in a low voice, then hung up.

Not long after, Rollo called again, "What did you say to Rosa on the phone? Why is she crying? Did you scold her?"

"Make some excuse to our teacher." Lord interrupted him, "I'll be back in a week,"

"A week?" Rollo raised his voice in surprise, "Where are you going?"

"Thank you." Lord hung up the phone, then turned off her phone and closed her eyes.

Carl passed away at three in the morning.

Randy had been by Carl's side since nine o'clock last night. He had been holding Carl's hand and kneeling by the bedside. When dawn broke, his parents pulled him out. Jen said to Randy, "You go eat first. We're here."

"I'll take care of it," Randy shook his head and said, "We had a deal."

Carl's funeral was handled by Randy, including cancellation and cremation. He was busy on his own. Randy never shed a single tear from beginning to end.

Until Vincent and Lord appeared in front of him at the same time, tears fell.

Lord rushed up and hugged him.

Randy cried and said, "My grandfather is dead..."
