Billionaire's Regret -
Chapter 31:
Aaron rushed out of the guest house rounding the place then replaceing him on the beach where she stood minutes ago. She was just gone. Reacting on pure instinct he listened and he heard the bells were calling him. Giving chase he followed the sound. It was surprising that he even heard the bells calling from above the sound of the ocean which was loud.
Annie's feet carried her lightly across the beach when he came out of nowhere, she recognized him immediately. He was her erotic illusion coming alive. The speed with which he approached her then trying to stop abruptly but instead he collided against her together they went tumbling down onto the wet sand. She found herself laughing when she saw he certainly was no master on the sand. Whereas she managed to control the speed of her tumbling he had no such luck. He only found his feet when he was within the water drenched from head to toe. He rose from the ocean like a dark god about to conquer.
Annie watched him with an openness that awakened every female instinct within her. She was coming alive from within. Her heart and mind was instantly at war for control but common sense would be lost and all he has to do was touch her. She stopped smiling now as she watched him with a serious expression darken by the light of the moon. She watched his strong profile, realized he was just as she dreamt about; being tall, dark and ruggedly handsome dripping wetly as her eyes feast on almost mesmerized as she watched him approached her. All he had to do was to touch her.
"Who are you gypsy?" His voice was heavy with emotion as he reached out and touched her making certain she was a reality and not the painting coming alive. Shocks tremors shook them both with that first intimate touch. That touches... "Gypsy, who are you?"
Aaron felt the deep instinct to pull her close against the tall wet frame of his body. He felt the tremors shook her body anew as he wrapped her tight within the circled strength of his arms. For the very first time in his life he felt the missing piece of his body and heart. The very thought puzzles him teasing him with a forgotten memory....
Annie allowed that he really touched her.
The awaking of suppressed feelings was so powerful she couldn't control or hide the emotions that washed over her.
"I am home,” she whispered, her longing was taken away by the breeze but Aaron had the sense he should be quick with his wits. The sudden and bolted tears raked her body like a tidal wave and he held on tight while the power of her emotions surged through her.
"Kismet," he whispered in awe anew.
Against all logic with no true reasoning, the path was chosen both thought separately but in union.
Aaron suddenly picked her up into his arms and carried her back to the guest house.
Anna who had been on the lookout had seen them both. She took flight as the hero chasing his heroine; she quickly set about creating a haven for their return as she had started a fire in the living room. She left blankets and pillows, candles the only source of light. She then left them in private.
Aaron handles her like she might be fragile glass as he placed her amongst the pillows on the rug in front of the smoldering fire. He stretched his body the length of her frame while leaning on his elbow just to watch her. His eyes devour every image of her but the one he promised himself to carry with him always was...
"The first time I saw you, my very thought was who was the gypsy sitting on that rock? You made a stunning first impression with the toiling water around you. My heart nearly stopped when you stood and vanished from sight." Annie's full sensual lips moved in a smile of genuine warmth. She carefully concealed the knowledge that it would seem his memory was at fault again. She missed him so she was going to enjoy this interlude.
"It was never my intention to search for you but the moment I saw you I knew there was a very specific reason I left the city this morning and just drive blindly. It was my destiny to replace you."
Annie still said nothing just watch him in awe. She can't get enough of his sight.
Aaron who isn't a man for romantic wording found the truth within himself. He just has to tell her, those eyes of her demand the truth and nothing else.
"You are my gypsy with the darkest and saddest but most amazing eyes. Your cascading curly auburn hair is like the softest fur coat. I want to wrap me in your essence; I want to become one with you. Your tingling bells would forever ring in my memory. Tell me just once, what is your name?"
He reached out and brushed away a few wayward curls longing to kiss her, taste her, and become whole with her.
"My name is Annie Black," she whispered with an emotion filled voice.
"I am Aaron Casey,"
The spoken word become absolute between them, the only language both spoken was with their eyes, the magic imprinting touch of the hands, the searching and replaceing kisses of two lovers slowly, naturally joining together as one. Annie woke with the early morning chill washing over her naked body. However she quickly realized she wasn't cold. Furthermore she discovered the warmth and strength of an arm curving around her body pulling her closer for a much needed intimate embrace.
"Morning my gypsy, did you sleep well?"
Aaron kissed her shoulder while his one hand was cupping her breast with a new found feeling of possession. His other hand brushed the massive amount of curls away from her frame, his finger tracing the length of her scar.
She suddenly stiffened when she realized he was actually seeing her this early in the morning in her absolute clear physical nakedness. Last night she had spontaneously become awakened as a full blooded woman in his arms and it never occurred to her what he might think of her physical disfigurement.
"Aaron, no,” she whispered suddenly shocked and feeling extremely vulnerable. The past was fully back in the present. Fear gripped her... that rejection.
"What is wrong gypsy?"
Aaron watched the fright taken over, her expression was clear for him to read but he was in all honesty clueless what just happened.
