Billionaire's Regret
Chapter 38:

"Aaron; where the hell are you?” the man yelled through the mansion his face red with fury. "You better make a quick appearance or you will regret this."

Thom Black looked at the woman. He takes note of her torn clothes and the red mark on her face. He wants to approach her but her attitude was clear; deal with Aaron or else... "Boy, you better come here?" he starts to walk towards the stairs..

"Sir, stop yelling." Aaron makes his appearance from the kitchen. He was holding his head. "I have a throbbing headache. My mouth..."

The older man was on him. He slapped him twice through the face. The fifteen year old teenager cowered in front of the furious older man. "I can't believe I raised such a bastard!" "Sir, stop..." he tries to move away but was grabbed by his hair. Thom shakes him furiously.

"Why the hell did you attack your mother?"

"Sir, stop, please..." he managed to move away from Thom.

"I regret the day you were born. You certainly are you mother's fucking blood." Thom advanced towards him again. There was murder in his eyes.

Aaron feels the effects of the strange throbbing headache making his movements slow and stumbling and his face burning. It also feels like a clump of his hair was ripped from his head. As he stood looking at Thom; nothing about that pain compared to that final remark... He slowly stood upright facing him.

"What did I do sir?"

"Now you are playing fucking innocent."

"I don't know..."

"Shut your fucking mouth." Thom walked towards him again. "Why did you attack your mother?"

"I didn't sir." He looked towards the woman who raised him.

"You attacked her." Thom seems like he would burst from anger.

"I didn't sir. Mom you taught me to know better."

"Get the hell out of this house. Go to your fucking grandmother's place. I knew her blood was tainted. You are her bastard." Thom grabs him. He suddenly marched towards the front door. Once it opened; he throws the teenager down the stairs.

“If I see you again, you will regret this. Don't try to come close to your mother again. You will regret this, bastard."

Aaron was trying to get onto his feet now surrounded by the guards. The newest one grabbed him by the arm. He was marched towards the waiting car. The man pushed him into the backseat closing the door. He sits upright looking through the window. Thom wrapped his arms around his mother. The woman looked directly at him smiling just before Thom Black slammed the door closed. The car left the grounds of the Estate. It had always puzzled him his mother married this

man.

"Hey! Where are you taking me?"

Aaron finally focused on his surroundings. The driver was heading away from the correct address. The man looked at him through the rear view mirror. His eyes were hard and cold.

"I am taking you were you belong." He said shortly.

"What do you mean?" Aaron was openly confused.

"I know how to deal with rich guys. You think you are entitled to everything."

"I didn't attack my Mom. I am not rich" It still feels like his head would burst from the building pressure inside of his skull. He was very confused.

"Classic answer you just sit where you are. Once my men get hold of you we will teach you the value of a woman."

Aaron looked at the man. He just knew he was in serious trouble. He realized he has no cell phone. He also realized the moment they left the city; no one would help him. He looked around just knowing he should help himself. No one will come to his rescue.

"Where are you taking me?" he asked again. He noticed they are nearing the robots.

"I am taking you to the farm. You will either be a man or dead. It makes no difference to me. I get paid either way." The driver quickly paid attention to his driving. The road was suddenly extremely busy. "Bloody fuck! Come back..."

Aaron has opened the back door. He jumped out and start to run but briefly looked over his shoulder. The driver was occupied at the robots. Cars were pilling around him. He turned and starts to run the length of the road. He was trying to reach the parking lot. The honking of another vehicle makes him stop to look around.

"Catch that fucker!" The strange man orders with fury.

He watched two men jumping out. He quickly searches for his driver. He now understood they are attempting to kidnap him. He starts to lengthen his legs, now running in earnest. Once he was through the parking lot he enters the Mall. As luck has it, he spotted the exit.

"What the hell?" Aaron stopped a moment to catch his breath. His lungs were burning. Still anxious he keeps looking around. Instinctively he just knows those men aren't completely sure where his grandmother's place was. He had taken a different route home. He starts to move but keep looking around. He was really puzzled about what just happened. Did his step-father hire these men to teach him a lesson? Who really attack his mom? Why did she make Thom believe it was him?

The throbbing headache still affects him. He was feeling lousy and fearful.

"I should get off the street." He takes deep breathes.

It took a moment before he realized the building right across from where he stood; smoke was coming from inside. He looks around but quickly realized he was the only one in the street.

"I can't go in there." He said to himself frantically looking for other people that might be able to help. Even he knows never ignore smoke. It can quickly turn into a raging fire.

His eyes searched the windows. It took a moment before he noticed movement near one of the windows.

"Bloody hell," he was moving without thinking twice. He was relieved when he found the front entrance of the building unlock.

Aaron felt paralyzed a moment when he realized the building was filling with heavy smoke. He can hear the crackling of the fire. Through bleary eyes he noticed a door that said manager. As he wipes the tears from his eyes, he realized he was in an apartment building. "Hello..." he call before coughing.

In front of the manager's door, he starts to hammer on it. "Hello..." he calls again. He repeats this action but once he understood no one was answering he decides to go upstairs.

Once he reached the second floor, he could barely see in front of him.

"Is anybody here?" he calls as loud as possible. Another burst of coughing. His eyes tears heavily. His heart beat fast. He feels afraid. The sound of the fire sounded like crying. He tries to understand what he should do. It finally dawn on him he should go towards the end of the hall.

Coughing deeply as he starts to move. He just knows he should reach that door before it's too late. He was no hero but he keeps moving.

Once he reaches the door, he instantly tries to open it. At first it burned his open palm. As he coughed deeply again, he looked down the smoky hall. He thought he saw movement.

"Anyone there?" he calls. He tries to listen but all he hears was the crying sound of fire.

"I am going to die here." He said fearful coughing repeatedly. He reached for the door again. This time he managed to open it.

He burst through the door. His bleary eyes search for whoever was in there. He watched her makes her appearance through the smoke.

"Are you okay?"

He watches the fear in her eyes. He saw her opening her mouth.

"What is it?" he asked anxiously. "We need to leave." He said. He holds his hand to her. "Come on," he said urgently.

The sudden explosion right in front of him instantly blinded him. He screams covering his eyes. He feels the warm blood streaming down his face. Somewhere in the darkness he heard his mother also scream. The fire was crackling and laughing around him. He dropped to his knees. He felt her land against his chest. The heat coming from her was making him truly fearful.

Finally darkness...his arm protectively around her...
