Micah watched Sadie walk away, his face getting darker by the second. He thought seeing her jealous and mad would show she still cared, but her calmness felt like a slap.

She didn't even blink when he protected Olivia. She stayed cool when he held Olivia, even chatted with her like it was no big deal. And when he tried to get under her skin, she just brushed it off. Micah wanted to rile her up, but now he was the one all riled up.
