Chapter 530 Ray's Trump Card

With a crashing noise, Ray's Triple Deadly Doors and Ricky's Gale Strike collided mid-air.

It happened the same time that his Triple Deadly Doors were also attacked by the power of thenothingness and fell into the most vulnerable state. However, Ricky's Gale Strike, shown in the formof four fang-like blades, was now at its peak.

Meanwhile, Ricky burst forth the power at the first level of Ultimate Golden Body. Without anywarning, the Triple Deadly Doors were completely crushed by Ricky's two powers.

Yet, the four blades didn't stop their attacking. They kept dashing towards Ray, who had justrecovered from his vulnerable and sad state.

So on instinct, hecrossed his arms and gathered all the enlightening power he could into a shield to cover himself.But just when he was almost done with creating the shield, he heard something snap. Apparently,his shield could not offer protection as it cracked on its first contact with Ricky's powerful GaleStrike.

Recoiling in pain, Ray let out a terrifying scream and spat blood. Dislodged from his stable path offlight in the sky, he came tumbling down like a shooting star. With a loud thud, he fell on theground, stirring up a cloud of dust.

"Flame Torrent!" Ricky thundered. At this rate, the next attack could well be the final nail in thecoffin for Ray, who was now cornered and outsmarted in every way. To kill his enemy on the nextand final assault, Ricky activated his chaotic fire runes, which turned into roaring flames instantlyand dashed towards Ray.

As the dust settled, the raging inferno receded, pulled by an invisible force to one particular point.On and on, until it was finally a small ball from which Ricky reemerged, popping up in midair.Everything fell eerily silent, all spellbound by Ricky's heroics. Even the demi-spiritual emperors up inthe sky were left gasping. In particular, the three demi-spiritual emperors of the Luxurious Chamberof Commerce were shocked and humiliated due to the defeat Ray had suffered.

To say that Ricky had left them shocked would be an understatement. The waves of emotion goingthrough their minds were a mixture of such intense anger, sorrow and frustration that they wishedto get hold of Ricky and strangle him.

It was a long time before anyone recovered from the shock of what they had just witnessed. Theimmediate thought that worried them was whether Ray would survive.

'If it turns out that the leadership of the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce had given Ray a trumpcard with invisible power, there would be a reason for me to tread cautiously, * Ricky thought."Ricky, I have released the sealing array on the airship. You can summon Doris's spiritual hologramat any time,” Tina informed him through their telepathic link.

As Ricky had suspected, Ray had something up his sleeve, even as he lay motionless in that heapdust and debris that remained after the blast. Like a phoenix in a shower of flames, Ray was rising.At first, he gradually gathered power and momentum with every ticking second. Finally, with anearth-shaking blast, he shot into the sky, rising all the way to Ricky's level.

Despite the deep wound in his chest, Ray had stopped bleeding, thanks to the new burst of energythat had raised him up.

Once again, everyone watched with bated breath. Even some of the completed spiritual kingssensed a new wave of danger.

The fierce face that Ray made was enough to send shivers down the spine of anyone watching fromthe sidelines.

"Ha-ha, you want to kill me? You still have a long way to go. A very long way!" Ray gloated. The wayhe glared at Ricky, you'd be forgiven for thinking his murderous, piercing eyes were those of thedevil from hell.

Mocking, he broke into an ecstatic fit of laughter. Real, hard chuckle, you'd think someone hadcracked a hella knee-slapping joke. Suddenly, the momentum and power that surrounded himerupted, turning into air ripples and directly sweeping around.

The first target of his attack was Ricky, and indeed the ripples of the blast hit him. There was hardlyany time for Ricky to dodge or block. Under the force of the assault, he stumbled back severalmeters before he fell, his chest feeling heavy. His mouth tasted of blood and sand. That single blastof Ray's trump card appeared to be winning.
