Chapter 554 Heading For The Three-hall City

Knowing that Soar had already made up his mind to leave, Ricky just gave him a smile even thoughhe knew that Soar took the matter seriously.

"Then what are you waiting for, bro? Get yourself ready. We should waste no time. We need to getto the Three-hall City to save your princess," Ricky urged in a cheerful voice.

However, Soar's determination quickly vanished. He became hesitant now that Ricky had offered hishelp to go with him. "Well, I can go there alone. I think it would be best if you stay in the OrientalCollege. Don't worry, I can manage,” he said in a mild and confident tone.

"I guess you're quite afraid that I might be caught by the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce, right?"Ricky asked with all honesty after thinking about the situation for a while.

"Yes, you're right about that. I mean, you really don't have to take the risk for me,” Soar noddedwith a frown on his face. At that point, he was really worried about Ricky's safety.

"We are sworn brothers, and this is no secret already. Everyone knows that. So it's just fair to saythat if they discover you, it would also mean that they have already discovered me, too. Even if wedon't act together, they would still replace the clues that link us together. After all, do you think I wouldstand by and do nothing if you got into some trouble? Come on, I know you would do the samething for me. So why not take this one together, starting from the beginning? It will eventually savea lot of troubles I'm sure," Ricky said as he tried to persuade Soar into letting him go with him.

"I see. You make a fair point. I guess, you should get ready then. Let's go," Soar replied as he sawthe sincerity in Ricky's eyes. With that, he didn't insist on leaving him behind anymore.

He knew that Ricky was telling the truth about their situation. Deep in his heart, Soar also knew thatRicky would do anything to help and save him if ever he was caught by the hostile forces. If thatwere the case, but hopefully not, then it was justifiable that they went together, so that each ofthem had back up. After all, if they were that unfortunate as being caught and discovered, they stillhad a trick up their sleeve—the Chaotic Fire Zone. They could easily hide inside the zone whichwould then reduce the risk of getting caught in the first place.

"But I think we should still prepare for some other things before we can go," Ricky said with a smileon his excited face.

Afterwards, Soar went with Ricky to the Weapon Casting Department to meet Cameron. Soar wasout of words as he heard what Ricky asked from Cameron—three masks made of human skin. Butthen Soar realized what Ricky wanted to do with them. Out of all the casting masters, Ricky was surethat he had put his trust on the right hands as he knew that Cameron could make them. This geniusidea was for their disguise. Any warrior below a demi-spiritual emperor wouldn't be able to detectthe real faces behind them if they wore those masks.

Upon hearing his request, Cameron already knew that Ricky wanted to go out and practice.Although he did not want to let Ricky leave the college gates and act alone, he still did what he wasasked to do. Cameron, realizing Ricky's need for a disguise, knew that it was impossible for theyoung man to make fast progress if he were only confined inside the walls of the college yard.

With this, Cameron didn't refuse the request, nor did he ask more about what it was for. In fact, hehad even asked the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor to come and help him with the castingwith the use of his ruling power.

And in no time, three human-skinned masks were successfully made by the casting master, whichwould not be possible without the help from the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor. Thesemasks were real enough to deceive and trick any demi-spiritual warrior who would not be keen withinspection, which was what Ricky had exactly wanted to achieve.

"Thank you so much, sirs!" Ricky said as he bowed to the two warriors out of respect and gratitude.The masks were very well and professionally made. Ricky could not be thankful enough for thegenerosity of the two warriors who were really nice to him for granting his request. And for that, hehad nothing but utmost gratitude for them.

"Oh, and by the way, be careful on your journey. Better not go to places where forces full of demi-spiritual emperors that might be lurking around. And one more thing, don't forget that the Land ofLegacy in the Eastern Realm of Wildness will start to appear in four months. Make sure that you getthere by then, and seize this opportunity to make quick progress,” the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritualEmperor kindly reminded them before they set off.

"Thanks. I will keep that in mind," Ricky replied, nodding.

As soon as they had prepared everything, Ricky went to replace Jasper and Terrence to tell them abouthis temporary disappearance right before his actual leave from the Oriental College with Soar andTina,

And of course, even though the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor and Cameron already knewabout his plans about leaving, they didn't have the slightest idea how they managed to leave thecollege under their noses. Both Cameron and the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor alreadyknew about their plan, but of course they still kept quiet about it. Next morning came and just likethat, three young warriors had just disappeared from the college without a trace. This incident,however, took two seniors by surprise.

"How were they able to pull that off? They might have used some spiritual space tool for theirescape to work," asked Cameron, his face scrunching up from all the thinking.

"Good point. They might have activated one in the middle of the night and then escaped. Icommend them for their idea though," said the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor as he noddedhis head in amusement. "If so, we could expect that they will be safe for now.”

"But I must say that you don't seem to be worried at all from the beginning, or have you doneanything secretly to protect them? Just yesterday, I remember you asking where they were off to,”Cameron asked as he gave the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor an inquiring look. To him, itjust seemed odd that someone who liked Ricky so much didn't take on any worried expression."Haha, I won't let the cat out of the bag,” the Heavenly Ape Demi-spiritual Emperor answeredjokingly. He didn't deny it, but he surely didn't tell more about it, either.

Meanwhile, the whole Oriental College was stirred by Ricky's sudden and secret departure. All thedisciples started to throw in their guesses on how he had managed to escape, and many of themhad even thought that he must have used the spiritual space tool he had shown the other day—theMind Palace Model

Sure enough, what Ricky did caused the disciples from the Luxurious Chamber of Commerce to beenraged. They couldn't believe that they had all neglected the powerful spiritual space tool Rickyhad been carrying all this time. They could blame no one but themselves that Ricky had successfullyescaped from right under their noses.

The only one good thing about it was that since Ricky was not there anymore, they didn't have towatch him like a hawk. From their point of view, if their alliance forces searched for Ricky out theretogether, it would be a piece of cake for them to replace this annoying guy, sooner than later.Therefore, it was not such a piece of bad news for them after all.

But this was just their wishful thinking. Truth was, Ricky had gone directly to the Three-hall City withSoar and Tina, under the cover of the Chaotic Fire Zone. It was a strategic move, in fact. This wasbecause even before the alliance forces could react to this news, they were already nowhere to befound.

To the east of the Oriental Realm, the Three-hall City was located, which was considered to be oneof the largest cities in the realm. Moreover, the city was noted for three powerful forces withcompleted spiritual kings—the Saber Hall, the Spear Hall, and the Sword Hall.

And Scar was the leader of the Saber Hall.

Apart from the powerful forces that led the city was the Dark Fallen Realm, which was located in abig area to the east of the said realm. Ricky had only heard a bit about it when he was in theOriental College.

Among all the things in that area, there was one force that was familiar to Ricky—the EndlessShadow. Of course, the Endless Shadow in the Dark Fallen Realm might have the same name as theorganization from the Realm of Wildness, but it was hardly ever the same.

The difference was that the organization from the Dark Fallen Realm was an emperor force, and hadup to three innate spiritual emperors to keep it running. It could be said that it was theheadquarters of this force in the whole Eastern Land.

Be that as it may, it was still not the most powerful force in the Dark Fallen Realm. There was aneven more powerful, more mysterious, and more formidable force that was feared in the area calledthe Nether Manor.

Little was known about this Nether Manor except that it was really powerful and feared by thepeople. Nobody knew exactly how many spiritual emperors I it had, nor how many warriors itactually owned. But it was undoubtedly the strongest and most dangerous force across the EasternLand that nobody wanted to mess with. About a hundred years ago, it totally destroyed a force withtwo spiritual emperors just overnight, killing off all the possibilities for it to rise again.

It was something so horrible that even the Oriental College couldn't easily live up to their legacynowadays. And from then on, the Nether Manor had gained such a strong foothold on the land thatpeople got goose bumps just from hearing its name.

Meanwhile, after travelling for a tiring five days, Ricky, Soar, and Tina had finally reached the Three-hall City in one piece.

Upon reaching the place, Ricky glanced at the whole city from above and found it as magnificent aslegends had described it to be. It might not be as big as the Oriental City, but was huge enough tomake an impression as it housed three famous forces with completed spiritual kings, after all.

With no time to spare, Ricky controlled the Chaotic Fire Zone and changed his direction, moved intothe city, and got straight into the Saber Hall.

They went directly to the secret chamber Scar had arranged in advance, and got out from theChaotic Fire Zone. Having their masks on, the people who came out of the zone looked like normalwarriors. Their cover was successful and only careful and wise men would see right through them.Meanwhile, Inside the secret chamber, Scar, Madeline, Yedda and Yolanda were already waiting fortheir arrival.

It was no surprise to them when they saw three strangers turn up. For one, they had already knownthat putting up disguises was a must if they wanted their plan to work. Moreover, they knew thatRicky had used a powerful spiritual space tool to help them travel this far. So it was nothingsurprising that the three of them would show up this way.

"What the hell happened, Madeline? So tell me which bastard's been giving you trouble and I'mgoing to give him what he deserves!" Soar went up and asked Madeline straight up the moment hesaw her. He got so irritated that he just couldn't keep his voice down even for just a bit.

Ricky, Scar, and Tina all exchanged embarrassed looks when Soar had ignored all of them and madea fuss, like he was going to beat up anyone that had offended the girl he liked.

Ricky had mixed emotions upon witnessing Soar's burst of anger. “Oh boy, couldn't you just restrainyourself a bit? Everyone's watching, you know!" he thought with a faint smile on his face.Nevertheless, Ricky didn't say anything to stop Soar. He knew him very well and that was enoughreason to let him be. Honestly, he quite liked his simple, yet open and warm personality, along withthe fact that his words and deeds always matched what was inside his head.

By how things looked, it was obvious that Madeline shared Ricky's opinion, as someone more thanjust a friend to Soar. Her face lit up and flushed in bright pink. Her grave expression was even goneat Soar's determined, yet overly protective words. But if there was anything, she was quite happyabout how Soar cared about her so much. It even made her stomach flutter and her heart beatfaster in her chest. She clearly knew why Soar would act like this, as for more than one time, this guyhad already confessed his love and desire for her face to face.

"So, tell us about it, Scar. What on earth has happened to Saber Hall?"
