Chapter 566 Star Moon Sword Array

"What do you mean by that, Luna?" Ricky asked. In fact, he had almost guessed how Luna reallywanted to compete with him.

"It's very simple, actually. I will deploy an array, and you will need to break it. If you succeed in doingthis task, then the Saber Hall wins. Otherwise, the Sword Hall wins,” Luna said with a smile on herface.

Rickysaid faintly. "To be honest, it is not that much of a wise choice to wait for an array deployer to finishcreating an array and then break it."

"Exactly!" Luna didn't deny Ricky's words, but agreed with him instead.

"If that's the case, Russell, then that would mean..."

"I really want to refuse your offer. But now that it is just a competition, and may I add that you aresuch a beautiful lady, I've changed my mind. Instead, I have decided to accept your proposal,” Rickysaid with a slightly wicked grin on his lips. It came as a surprise to everyone that he agreed withLuna's proposal.

"Oh, really? He accepted Luna's proposal! This is so exciting! Could he be the first genius to everbreak Luna's array?" The onlookers were a little astonished upon hearing Ricky's words.

"I guess that he is very likely to break Luna's array. I bet he's strong enough for this task. He is theone who defeated Garrett, after all!"

On the other hand, Keyon was not very delighted to hear how the other warriors talked aboutGarrett. His brows were closely knit together in anger, and it looked as if he wanted to murder allthose warriors who displeased him.

But Garrett's face remained calm, as if he had never heard a word they said.

"Then that would mean that you've finally accepted my proposal, Russell! Oh I can't wait to start! "Luna expected a different answer from Ricky. Hence, the surprised look appeared on her face whenshe knew that they were going to push through with it. Because in her opinion, she felt that it wasvery likely for Ricky to reject her proposal.

After all, deep in Luna's heart, she had judged Ricky as not the impulsive and arrogant kind of man.'lt seems that he has such great confidence, ' Luna thought to herself. 'l guess there's nothingwrong with that. After all, he is able to defeat Garrett. Without a shadow of a doubt, he truly has theconfidence.’

"Nora, my array is indeed the strongest ace up my sleeve. If I fail this one, I hope you won't blameme," Luna said to Nora through telepathy.

She was confident with her arrays. Or at least, she used to be. But now that she was face to face withsuch a mysterious man, her confidence began to slowly fade away, and she thought she only had aneven chance of winning.

"Don't worry about it, Luna! Just do your best!" Nora answered back.

In fact, right after Ricky had defeated Garrett, Nora had already prepared herself for any possiblefailure.

"Now, this is a competition. Naturally I should let you be sincerely convinced that we both haveequal chances of winning this. With that, I have to let you show your strongest power,” Ricky saidwith a smile. "Luna, could you tell me how long it will take you to deploy your most powerful array?”"An hour would be completely enough!” said Luna.

"All right then. I'll use that time wisely to rest for an hour. After all, it is not easy to deal with anarray," Ricky replied, smiling.

"Are you sure about that? If you want, you can spend four more hours in cultivating. It's totally allright for me," Luna said lightly.

Right after their exchange of sentences, Luna already started to deploy the array. Meanwhile, inmid-air, Ricky used his time wisely as he started to rest.

Ricky had also informed the others that he needed to rest; however, it was not his real purpose.What he really wanted was to secretly activate the power of his four zones to know more aboutwhat Luna's array was.

He never once regarded himself as an upright gentleman. Because in order to succeed, he had totake some extraordinary measures.

Luna wanted to deploy her best array to defeat him. In that case, how could he sit there and donothing? It was already a no brainer that he would, of course, try and get any information that couldtell him what kind of array Luna was preparing to deploy.

Without wasting any more time, Ricky closed his eyes and pretended to rest. Then he activated theGale Skill, and followed the lines of Luna's array. He knew that if he could replace the center of Luna'sarray, it would be a sure win for him.

As the power of the gale was imperceptible and invisible, Luna wouldn't be able to notice that Rickywas secretly watching her deploy the array.

However, Ricky was too optimistic for his own good. An hour had passed and he was just gettingfamiliar with the lines of Luna's array and had no concrete idea of where the center of the arraymight be.

'Even though I already have the power of four zones, I still can't believe that I'm such a newbie whenit comes to arrays, ' Ricky exclaimed to himself in his heart with a bit of disappointment.

Then he opened his eyes, showing the end of his rest.

"Russell, are you finished with your rest?" Luna asked as soon as she saw Ricky open his eyes.

"Yes. Since you have already finished deploying the array, I guess I'm finished, too," Ricky answeredwith a smile on his face. "May I ask what kind of array you had just deployed?"

"This array is called the Star Moon Sword Array!" said Luna as she enthusiastically identified herdeployed array.

Boom! Boom! The next moment, Luna's power surged and green lines started to appear on herforehead, which was exactly like the symbol of an array deployer of King Level.

Not long after, a green array suddenly emerged in the whole area of the square.

Spinning around in mid-air, this light green array had the shape of the Eight Diagrams.

Instantly, green lines had appeared on the surface and then spread over the whole array.Afterwards, the array started to absorb the power of the space.

It was the power of the stars and the moon in the space which were being absorbed. In fact, thiskind of array had such really rare power. Its power, however, worked in such a way that if it washigher up the sky, the more powerful it would be.

It was possible that only an genuine array of King Level like this could absorb the power of themoon and stars.

'The array is deployed using the power of the stars and the moon. This would mean that it is not assimple as I thought. It seems that I only have an even chance of destroying the array!" Ricky thoughtto himself.

Meanwhile, with the spreading of the power of the stars and the moon in the array, several greenswords emerged quickly, which then encircled the whole air of the inner part of the array. And aftercareful counting, a total of ninety-nine green swords filled the air.

Each sword emitted strong and vibrant light which contained the power of killing and obscure icyrays.

"Luna, your Star Moon Sword Array is true to its name. My confidence is shattered just by simplyfeeling the icy rays. I do not think I can simply destroy it," Ricky said with humility in his voice,smiling.

But behind his humble eyes, it could be seen that Ricky had become more serious at that momentas he tried to replace a way on how to break it.

"Russell, I know you are just kidding. And besides, I can see that you are really confident about this,"said Luna with a smile. "But if you think that this is unfair to you, we can end the competition withone move."

"Ha-ha, now that I have accepted your proposal, how can I go back and break my word? Especiallywhen faced with such a beautiful lady?" Ricky said as he let out a loud laugh. But the competitionstill went on as Ricky walked right into the Star Moon Sword Array without any hesitation.

"Luna, please activate your Star Moon Sword Array and let this competition begin,” Ricky saidimpatiently as he could not wait for the competition to end and thus he could claim his victory.

"In that case, Russell, please be careful. I will not show mercy on you in this competition as I amrequested by others. Otherwise, it would be deemed unfair to them," Luna said.

Without further ado, the green lines on Luna's forehead suddenly burst forth, and the Star MoonSword Array started to roll over the entire space.
