Chapter 581 The Vitality Land

Boom! Boom!

As the words fell from Ricky's lips, the whole majestic demeanor that he carried with him suddenlybecame unbearably thick. Then, the crimson devouring runes started permeating their surroundings.They spread out around his body, and gradually turned into a dark and swirling storm.

After a while, Ricky opened both of his palms and the Enlightening Wind Holes emerged. Two hugeenlightening windstorms swept across the ground, before they merged into one more powerfulwindstorm that fused with the devouring runes.

After a second, the violent windstorm expanded at lightning speed. With the airship as the center, itrapidly dispersed and rushed towards the black toxins floating all around.

'Is this the move he's been holding back? The strength of the windstorm is surely going to be muchstronger after it absorbs that runic power, but I'm afraid that it won't be able to stop the toxins thatare drifting into it, * Terrence wondered to himself as he watched Ricky's impressive attack.

Since Ricky still had such an air of confidence, Terrence waited for his attack to end in the hopes ofseeing whether they would be able to weather that moment of danger or not.

Then, raging flames became to swirl and pop. Whoosh! Swoosh! The flames climbed higher,becoming an uncontrollable inferno, right after Terrence was wondering how things would go.Above the fulminate windstorm, tufts of the dark and roaring flames were spreading all over thelandscape. Those flames were the Heaven Illuminating Fire.

"What are those black flames?" Terrence couldn't help but say that out loud when he was given sucha shock. The moment the Heaven Illuminating Fire appeared and flared up, an invisible wave of stunand awe spread through Terrence's heart, and a sense of destruction was growing in his mind."What spectacular fire! That's more like it—that's what Ricky's moves should really look like."

Boom! A minute later, the explosive storm made a clean sweep and sped off, intertwining with thediffused toxins. It seemed like two blasts of strong air were billowing into each other.

Hiss! Hiss! After that, the flames which, at first, had burned above the windstorm were shifting theirdirection. The flames were still climbing and burning above the toxins.

"How...how is that even possible?” Terrence said, his mouth open. He stared slack-jawed as hewatched all that happening. He found it hard to believe that the Heaven Illuminating Fire wasactually able to burn the toxins. He was totally dumb-struck from the inside out.

At that point, even Madeline was a bit stunned. That strange fire was like nothing that she had everseen before.

"Oh my! That fire is terrifying! What else can it burn through, if it could burn through the toxins soeasily?" Terrence sighed with heavy emotion in his voice after the furious attack had shocked him.Once again, he realized how unfathomable Ricky's power really was.

"Toxins? So what? That's not that impressive anyway. Those toxins could be dispersed by my Heavenlluminating Fire just as easily if I tried, * Ricky thought to himself with a great swell of confidence.At that moment, Ricky started to think about Kristen and Tyson. There was a gleam of nostalgiadeep within his hazel eyes.

“Kristen, Tyson, I really miss you guys. I wish I knew whether you guys are alright or not. How are youguys doing right now?’ Ricky wondered to himself.

Until that moment, the strong enlightening windstorm had been getting wild and running into thesurrounding flocks of Virulent Sandy Crocodiles while the Heaven Illuminating Fire was also burningabove them.

The Virulent Sandy Crocodiles had low psychic intelligence and didn't understand how to masterspiritual energy or enlightening power. They weren't able to convert that power into a protectiveshield that could prevent them from being hurt by the burning Heaven Illuminating Fire. They couldonly fight and their blind resistance only led to them being injured further. The more they resisted,the harder the Heaven Illuminating Fire would burn.

In no time, the Virulent Sandy Crocodiles were reduced to Virulent Sandy Cores. Of course, it wasRicky who controlled the Heaven Illuminating Fire. He stopped it just before it began to burn theVirulent Sandy Cores. If he had let it burn further, everything would have, no doubt, turned intoashes under the heat of his Heaven Illuminating Fire.

At the same time, it was also part of Ricky's plan to release the Heaven Illuminating Fire and takeback the Virulent Sandy Cores.

So, in that way, the fire was a tool that he used to bring the crisis to an end

"Ricky, with all due respect, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of fire was that?" Terrence, stilllost in the mind-blow scene that he had just witnessed, asked out of curiosity.

"That is called the Heaven Illuminating Fire, and that fire is able to burn anything into dust andashes." Ricky told him the truth without holding anything back.

He had chosen to trust Terrence and knew that he would try to figure it out as fast as he could. Evenif Ricky had decided not to tell him the truth, Terrence would have probably gone back and referredto the wide range of files from Oriental College. He would have looked up the features of Heavenllluminating Fire, and he would eventually replace out what the fire actually was.

"It really burns everything?! That's so destructive! So, it seems that this Heaven Illuminating Fire issome kind of sacred fire of heaven and earth,” Terrence said in an excited tone after hearing whatRicky said.

After hearing what Heaven Illuminating Fire could do, Madeline was once again deeply stunned.Ricky then waved his right hand, allowing the burning Heaven Illuminating Fire to quickly be drawnback inside of his body. There was one lump of Heaven Illuminating Fire that was left out and beganto form into a fire prison hanging over a Virulent Sandy Crocodile.

There was only fear left in the poor creature's eyes after it had been trapped. There was no sign ofthe ferocious demeanor it had had before. Every bit of its thirst for blood was gone with the fire."Next, we are going to walk out of the endless Virulent Sand Flow, and this creature will lead theway for us," Ricky said. "See these Virulent Sandy Cores? You guys collect them. Then we will refinethem when we get out of here.”

"Got it, Ricky." Soar nodded his head.

Then, Soar and Terrence both hunkered down on the airship, and took out the recovering Treasuresfrom Heaven and Earth. They started to use them to heal themselves.

Ricky was using his telepathy to communicate with the Virulent Sandy Crocodile and pass his orderon to it.

"Grrrrrr." Knowing what Ricky meant, the Virulent Sandy Crocodile growled in deep and sullenvoice. It had eventually agreed to follow his instructions.

Then, Ricky delivered some spiritual energy to his friends, boosting the airship so it could follow thelead of the Virulent Sandy Crocodile.

'Phew! That was quite an experience! We really dodged a bullet! We are finally leaving the VirulentSand Flow, ' Ricky thought to himself. He felt relief in his heart at that moment.

Along the way, Ricky and Madeline witnessed lots of areas with clusters of toxic smog, and thosewere exactly the dangerous places that Terrence had warned them about.

"Luckily, we have this Virulent Sandy Crocodile to lead the way for us, or it would have been evenmore dangerous to try and replace our way. If we ran into those areas of toxic smog, I'm afraid that wewould have all lost our way," Ricky said in relief.

"Right, if we ever went inside those toxic areas, we would not be able to come out alive,” Madelineagreed with him.

At that moment, in the area of shifting sand ahead, a vast oasis unexpectedly appeared. What wasmore unexpected, was that the oasis was verdant and covered with sense of life. The contrast withthe desolate Virulent Sand Flow was incredible.

"I feel like that oasis can't be real. How could such a lively oasis like that even appear in the desolatearea like the Virulent Sand Flow?" Ricky was skeptical when he saw the lush area of land rise upbefore him.

Soar and Terrence also woke up from the pranayama state they were in. Seeing the unbelievableoasis ahead, they were both amazed.

"Maybe, it's an opportunity for us," Terrence suggested out of the blue.

"An opportunity!? What kind of opportunity?” Ricky instantly asked Terrence when he heard what hesaid.

"It probably has some precious Treasure from Heaven and Earth. An oasis is very likely to have afourth-level Glazed Fruit,” Terrence said. "It is written on a record of the Virulent Sand Flow that, ifthe Vitality Land appears, then it's highly possible that a fourth-level Glazed Fruit will appear.”"That's also the reason why the whole area was turned into this desolate Virulent Sand Flow—it'sbecause the fourth-level Glazed Fruit has taken in all of this area's essence.”

"The fourth-level Glazed Fruit!?" Ricky, Soar, and Madeline all asked in excitement after hearingwhat Terrence said.

The fourth-level Glazed Fruit! Wasn't that one of the reasons that they had wanted to come to theLand of Legacy?
