Chapter 598 The Ghost Tracking Device

"I see! No problem!" Soar gamely responded as he expressed zero hesitation. Without wasting anymore second, he activated his body movement skill and landed right in front of the strongest ghost.Judging by its breath, Soar felt that the strength of the ghost was probably equivalent to a second-class middle spiritual king. Yet, because it had no entity, the power that it could potentially releasewas almost equal to the peak power of a third-class middle spiritual king. On the other hand, thiswould also provide the perfect opportunity for Soar to hone his skill. It was for this reason that hecomplied with Ricky's suggestion with no contentions.

The ghosts that were killed off by Ricky and Terrence took the duo by surprise after theirenlightening power transformed into small balls of light.

"These light balls are the source of the ghosts’ power. We call them the Souls of Ghosts whichcontain strong Dark Enlightenment,” Samson explained.

"The Souls of Ghosts do have the Dark Enlightenment. Unfortunately, they are useless to us.” Rickyand Terrence were slightly disappointed upon hearing Samson's explanation and realizing the realitythat the amount of available force would hardly benefit them, if at all.

After all, they were not practicing the Dark Enlightenment. The Souls of Ghosts were supposed toonly attract the warriors who had cultivated the Dark Enlightenment. Particularly, only those fromthe Luxurious Chamber of Commerce could harness the power of the Souls of Ghosts

"These Souls of Ghosts may be useless for improving our cultivation. But, they are still of great valueto us!" Samson rebutted.

He didn't get an answer to his question. Instead, Samson went on to collect all the Souls of Ghosts,and then flipped his palms. Soon after, a black compass appeared.

"This is a spiritual weapon!" Ricky exclaimed immediately. As a casting master of Spirit Level, hecould immediately recognize the nature and form of the compass in Samson's palms.

"Exactly! I've forgotten that you are also a casting master of Spirit Level,” Samson said. "So, Ricky,can you guess what kind of spiritual weapon this is?"

Ricky pondered for a few seconds and then answered, "If my guess is right, this must be a spiritualweapon with a tracking function. Judging from how you had to take it out now, I guess it must havesomething to do with these Souls of Ghosts.” Although Ricky didn't know the exact relationshipbetween the souls and the compass, he knew that both must be closely connected.

This is probably the real reason whythey no longer fought with us when we were still outside the Land of Ghosts earlier,” Samsonreplied introspectively as he rubbed his thumb with his chin. "His strategy is clear. First, he will leaveus alone and make us do all the hard work in searching for the Enlightening Fruits by using thisGhost Tracking Device. Once we replace the fruits and they replace the perfect opening, that's when they'llstrike and seize the fruits from our possession.”

"They really had an elaborate plan. It's a pity they miscalculated the situation. The moment theycrossed paths with me, that was when their plan was doomed to fail," Ricky responded softly butsurely upon discovering his opponents’ plan. Samson and Carley couldn't help but be startled bythe confidence that Ricky exuded.

"Soar's battle should be over in a second!" Ricky blurted with excitement. His attention shifted backto Soar, who was busy fighting against the ghost.

Bang! Bang! By this time, the ghost had now been suppressed completely by Soar.

How was that possible? Firstly, since the ghost no longer had flesh and body, its combat power wasimmensely reduced. Secondly, Soar's skill, the Heaven Melting Fire, had the power to restrain thepower of ghosts especially when it was used at full capacity.

"Soar, hurry up and end the battle. Next, we need to hunt more ghosts,” Ricky urged.

Shortly after calling out his mightytechnique, Soar released a fierce attack. His Heaven Melting Fire was transformed into the virtualshadow of a fire dragon. The virtual shadow then wrapped itself around Soar's right fist, before itwhirled quickly and violently toward the ghost.
