Bound by Tension -

After waving Kade off, the elevator transported me to the 7th floor where mine and the Hotel room I had deliberately planned to share with Imogen was. The elevator doors separated, permitting me to scuttle out of it and to 'ROOM 7K'. I inserted my card into the right hole, unlocking the door.
I stormed in, hastily shut the door. The lights were on, indicating Imogen had switched them back on.
Staggering to the sofas, I sat down on one of them, resting my head against the back of the sofa and shut my eyes. Kade's words couldn't stop reeling in my head. Did I really have to openly express my emotions to Imogen? That was something I hated doing.
I couldn't imagine walking up to Imogen and saying, 'Imogen, I love you so much. I've loved you for almost two years now, right from the very first day I met you. Can we get married?' Gosh, that was obviously going to sound so lame, obnoxious and unprofessional.
What was I going to do, I couldn't continue this torturous way of living; my nights had never been without thoughts or dreams of Imogen. I was going crazy and I hated it. Sleeping with other Women had helped to be a distraction but they were no longer working out. Imogen was everything in my head and since she had started working with me, it had made my feelings for her grow more crazy. I was beyond frustrated that she obviously didn't feel the same way for me. I had always gotten anything I wanted with ease but Imogen was definitely not easy to get. She was like a star I was trying to pluck from the sky as my possession.
Out of frustration, I snapped my eyes open with a frown and yelled, "Miss Mark," As I was obliged to call her that for formal purposes.
She didn't respond immediately, raising the level of my frustration. I groaned, hollering again, "Miss Mark." I raised my voice.
"I'm coming," she replied. Her voice was distant but I could hear her.
I began to hear the sound of her footsteps running. In a jiffy, the door to her room was pulled inwards, revealing her figure. She scuttled up to me, maintaining a proper distance. "You called me?" She asked. "Of course, I did." I still had a frown on, as always.
"Oh, do you need something?" She asked, lacing her fingers in front of her.
My eyes went to her linked finger then had to stare at her. I knew she was going to think I was glaring at her outfit as I glanced at her from head to toe with a stern face but I was instead admiring her. How in the world was she blessed with such nice curves? Her curves struck my brain so hard as always. She needed to know how badly she scattered my head but it didn't seem like that was happening anytime soon.
"Sit." I ordered in my usual cold tone I found so hard to control.
Obediently, she sat on the settee across the one I sat, folding her hands in her lap.
"What are you doing?" I asked. She drew her eyebrows in confusion. "I mean, what were you doing? Are you busy?" Was I doing the right thing?
"Uh..." she looked puzzled, fixing her electric blue eyes to mine. "You said there's a day break. I don't have anything to do-I-I was admiring the beautiful view of nature." I had guessed she was going to like the view from her room. "I was about to sleep. Do you need something?"
"No
actually, yes. We're going out." I let the words roll out of my mouth before I could control it.
That seemed to increase her perplexity. "Out?"
"Yes." I maintained a bold face. "It's a break so you deserve the right to go somewhere, not just sleep in this Hotel you'll eventually get bored of staying in." I tried my best not to stutter, hiding my nervousness with a straight face. "I'm kinda confused here. I don't have anywhere to go."
"I know, that's exactly what I mean. I'm going out now so you should come along, it's inappropriate to leave you here alone." Was I making any sense?
"You already left before now, without me." She made that clear to me, making my frustration grow even more. Why did she always make things so difficult for me?
I groaned, slamming my hand against the table. My action caused me to flinch really bad. "Miss Mark, can you just go to your room, change your clothes and not argue with your boss!" I barked, the only way out.
I knew she didn't like my tone, judging from the frown that appeared on her face. "Okay, Mr. Hendrix." I actually preferred when she called me Hames but she was being a rude employee on her first day and I had to put her in her place, I hated rudeness from people that weren't me..
She rose to her feet, turned around to leave. Knowing she couldn't see me, I couldn't stop gazing at her, admiring her beauty as she strode to her room.
"Motherfucking asshole." I heard her mutter. I wasn't certain if I heard that correctly or my ears were deceiving me.
"Did you say something?" I asked.
She flinched again, turning her head to me with her eyes widened in shock and excessively shook her head. "No, not at all." She hurriedly opened the door, dashing in then slammed the door shut. I stopped myself from laughing. Such a weird woman.
After a couple of minutes that seemed like they were never going to end, the door to Imogen's room was swung inwards, permitting her to stride out of if.
Rather than my jaw dropping in surprise or me drooling, I instead wore a stern frown as she approached me in a strapless dress that showed off an indecent amount of her cleavage and had a triangular opening that showed a part of her midriff. It ended just a few inches below her butt, advertising her smooth skin.
"Imogen," I called through gritted teeth, making her stop walking. "Why are you dressed like you're going to a club?"
"Aren't we going to a club?!" She asked sarcastically, widening her eyes to feign surprise.
I let my frown wash off and was replaced with a black expression. I studied her for a while. "You wanna go to a club?"
A grin slowly appeared on her lips. "Really? Yes!"
"Then yes, we're going to a club." I nodded, rising to my feet.
She jumped to her feet a little with a squeak. "Great! It's been a while since I've been to a club. Going to one in Australia definitely sounds nice."
"Can't believe you're this excited." I commented with a bored tone.
"I definitely am."
"Oh really?" I smirked, slowly walking up to her.
"Uh... what's going on?" She raised an eyebrow, automatically moving backwards.
"You definitely seem like the type of person that enjoys going to clubs." I said in an extremely deeper and raspy tone, causing her to swallow audibly.
She continued moving backwards and I moved twice as fast till her back finally rested against the perfect side of the wall. I didn't stop advancing towards her, stopping only a few inches away from her.
I placed my hands on the wall behind her, locking her against it so there was no escape for her.
"Mr Hendrix?" She creased her forehead in worry, her chest began to rise and fall rapidly.
I lowered my head to her face level, making her freeze in that spot. I tried my best to not laugh at her expression, wishing I could take a picture of it.
I lowered my head to her neck, sniffing in her scent. She had Mom's perfume scent on and I loved it, though I still preferred her natural scent.
I slowly raised my head from her neck. Her eyes had almost popped out of their sockets and her face paled. Her chest rising and falling was even crazier. Once again, I resisted the urge to laugh at her facial expression.
"Nice scent." I commented, staring above her head for confirmation then back to her. She heaved a sigh of relief. Wait, did she think I was going to kiss her? Wow. Kissing her was going to be such a nice thing, I hadn't considered doing it, except the first time in Mom's presence. The kiss from that day was more than amazing but pshe clearly didn't like it.
Kade said I ought to let her know my feelings towards her. Kissing her right now was going to be a good help in the start of expressing my feelings.
I stared at her lips, begging for permission with my eyes. Her chest resumed rising and falling rapidly as I leaned my face closer to hers.
