The car stopped in front of a beautiful five-star hotel and people started rushing to it.

A man opened the door for us. I stepped out after Hames.

"Bienvenue, Mr. Hendrix. Nous sommes très heureux de vous accueillir dans notre hôtel. Nous espérons que vous avez la meilleure lune de miel." A man greeted us. How did he expect us to understand French? "Merci. Ma femme et moi sommes également très heureux d'être ici avec vous. Où est votre patron?" Hames took me by surprise by replying to him in French.

"Il sera là dans quelques secondes. Oh, il est là maintenant." He replied then a different, good-looking man whose charisma aline spelt his wealthiness, sauntered to us too.

"Hello, Hames. Wow, she's your wife?" He grinned at me.

"Yes."

"Elle est si belle. Vous êtes un homme chanceux." He winked at Hames.

"She's definitely the most beautiful woman in the world. I agree I'm a lucky man. Can we go in now?" Hames smiled while I blushed.

"Qu'est-ce qu'on attend? (What are we waiting for?)" He replied and started walking. I couldn't say anything but looked confused.

Hames placed his hand on my back and followed behind him.

"I never knew you could speak French. What were you saying?"

"You don't know a lot about me, Ma reine (my queen). Anyway, we only greeted each other. He's Sam Smith, a friend of mine, the owner of this hotel."

The moment we stepped in, pieces of roses began falling on us from above us.

I wasn't expecting that at all so it startled me.

I raised my head and noticed the entire place was decorated with roses and there were pictures of me everywhere, also having roses around them; a few of them were mine and Hames' photos, pictures of our wedding too. "Oh my God. You decorated this hotel for me?" My mouth couldn't close anymore. I was damn amused.

The sound of clapping from almost everyone around filled the room. It wasn't fast clapping but the one that informed you a music was about to begin.

An a capella group began to sing with the most beautiful melody I had ever heard:

"A Queen Indeed, one who stole my heart.

Imogen, my life, my joy and wife;

I'll promise to cherish you till the end;

A million years or more to come, I'll still love you.

Your smile, your face, your beauty, your laugh, all make my heart melt in an instant..."

I was so blown away by their voices and how marvelous the beat was without any musical instruments. They continued singing praises of me that almost made my head explode in ecstasy, though a few lines of the lyrics were in French. "I wrote the song but Sam offered to help me out with the a cappella group. Do you like it?" Hames asked after they completed the song with, 'I'm so lucky to be your husband... forever.'

"Like it? I love it!" I clapped excessively, showing my appreciation to the group.

"Let's go to our hotel room. There's another surprise waiting for you."

"I never knew you were so amazing at composing songs. It was perfect." I couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear.

"Thank you." He said with a proud smile.

Sam led us to the elevator which was also decorated with flowers and there were a few photos of me in it. I felt so honored and special right now.

The elevator transported us to the 3rd floor, then we stepped out of it and we got to room "3'E" which was our room.

"I hope you enjoy yourselves. If there's any problem, you can always reach out to me." He winked at us.

"Sure, thing."

He held my hands and gave me a French kiss on both my cheeks.

Hames groaned in complaint and held my hand. "I definitely didn't like that. Au revoir, Sam."

"Jealous husband over a greeting? Au revoir." He waved at us and took his leave.

"Don't let another man kiss you, whether or not it's a friendly French kiss." He frowned playfully.

"He's not stealing me from the marriage of at least 30 years." We got in after he opened the door.

He shut the door then managed to flick the lights on, illuminating the room.

It was obviously a presidential suite but this time, the bedroom was combined with the living room; it was a white and dark gray king-sized bed that had a red and white spread on it.

There were also roses everywhere and it had an amazing fragrance to the environment. And of course, there were photos of me hung on the walls. I noticed a small speaker as music started playing from it; it was the same song the a capella had sung but in Hames' voice and instruments.

"I didn't know you could sing well." I said and he only smiled.

One thing I didn't appreciate here was the presence of candles (those demonic things).

"The final surprise for your welcoming," he held my hand, leading me to the balcony.

The view from here was more beautiful than that of his hotel in Australia. I could see the beautiful city from below us but could also see a waterfall with wonderful mountains. Downstairs, there was a tree whose leaves had been cut to 'Imogen- HH' with a heart-shape around it. "This is really good." I didn't want my excitement to be obvious in my tone.

"The last part of it." He pointed and the sky then beautiful fireworks began to rocket high into the sky. Fireworks and candles, those two things I was supposed to hate so much now but I was unable to hate today. The fireworks started forming words:

"This is to a queen, who has stolen the heart of her king." I read the words out. "The most special gift I have ever been blessed with. You've filled my life with happiness and colors from the day I saw you and the day we got married." I had to stop reading it then Hames continued.

"You are my motivation to keep on going and the reason for everything good that happens in my life! My wife, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me!" He wasn't even looking at the sky but was reading the words correctly. The fireworks were damn beautiful and had caught a lot of people's attention; most of them were taking pictures of it.

Hames stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. The heat emanating from his body was setting my body on fire and made everything about the moment perfect. "I promise to continue to love you, forever and be your husband with everything in me, till I take my last breath. Dear, Imogen Hames Hendrix." He completed the words. More beautiful fireworks filled the sky and Hames kissed my neck.

I could feel myself blushing like crazy. Everything in me was burning with excitement. I felt so loved and like a special queen indeed.

He turned me around with his arms still around my waist. "Should we go out for sightseeing of the beautiful Paris?" He asked.

I couldn't speak anymore so I simply nodded.

"Great! We should freshen up. Freshen up first, I have to discuss with Sam." He let go of me after a peck. "I really hope you liked my surprise?"

"Thank you. I loved it." I whispered, not audible enough for him to hear. "I'll be in the bathroom. Our bags?"

"They'll arrive soon but there should be a white T-shirt with grey shorts in the wardrobe. We're going out in matching outfits."

"Okay,"

"Or should we have a bath together?" He winked, earning a glare from me. "You promised to reward me for my surprise, remember?"

"Not in such a way." I started walking out of the balcony. "Go to Sam, pervert."

"You won't resist me for so long. I promise you we'd have a bath together and many more, before we return home." He shouted behind me. Thinking about his words made me feel myself blushing again.

His surprise was beyond fascinating. I had such a wonderful and romantic husband and I appreciated it. Being married to Hames wasn't such a bad thing after all. He had proven to be an amazing husband and I was definitely going to reward him before the day ended in Paris.
