"I was so frustrated on that day. How could you let anyone else see my possession?" "You didn't own me."

"But now I do." He tucked a few strands of my blonde hair behind my ear.

"If you've stolen someone's heart then you own them." I adjusted his tie.

He grinned. "I'm so glad to hear that. I have to leave now. You have a lot to work on, I have a meeting with a new company." He kissed my forehead. "You're leaving now?" I frowned.

"Yes, I have to." He turned around but I held him back and stood in front of him. "What's wrong?"

"You're not leaving until you tell me who Samantha is."

"She's really not important." He started to fidget. "Forget it."

"Are you kidding me?" I frowned. "How can you say she's not important when she's a major problem in our lives right now? What's with her that you're afraid to reveal to me?"

His chest started to rise and fall faster, increasing my worry. "Sh-she's... I can't..."

"You can't tell me who she is?" I felt tears forming in my eyes. Oh no. "Why? What's with her? You're making me regret everything about last night by not telling me who the hell she is. Don't you trust me?" He frowned really hard. "Of course I trust you and please don't regret anything."

"Why won't I? Why are you so angry at the mention of her name?" My eyes betrayed me by letting a tear roll from it. My heart was racing in fear at how he was being adamant on not revealing the woman's identity. "Who is she?" "Imogen, can't you let it be?" He replied angrily.

"Why are you so angry at me because I'm questioning you? We're married, and we agree that we love each other so please there should be no secrets. Who is Samantha? I hope... I hope you're not cheating on me."

His frown intensified. "Don't ever think that. I'm not cheating on you with her and I'll never cheat on you, that's a promise I'm making to you."

"Then who the fuck is she?!" I barked, feeling so frustrated. "I'm your wife. Please trust me to let me know."

He gazed at me, still looking so furious. "Fine, I'll let you know tonight."

"No, not tonight. I need an answer right now. Don't make me make any stupid decision," I cupped his face, "please. Don't make me replace out the truth from someone else, I won't ever forgive you and would never give you a chance in my life anymore."

He sighed and held my waist. "Don't be so bothered by her, she's just a crazy woman."

"I am very bothered by this issue. I don't like your angry gaze at me when I mention her name."

"I'm not mad at you for asking," he sighed. "Samantha is just a crazy woman who is kinda obsessed with me but don't worry, she won't disturb you again, I'll take care of her disturbance."

"Obsessed? How can she be obsessed with my husband?" I frowned. "Is that really all? Is that what you've been unable to tell me? Are you sure there's nothing more to this?" I squinted my eyes at him. "So now you don't trust me?"

"I don't why I don't feel convinced by your answer."

"I trust you and have told you the truth so it's your turn to trust me. Just stay safe, I'm always here for you. I'll make sure you don't receive her stupid threat calls and messages if she's behind this."

"So you'll go to her?" I didn't like the fact that he was going to meet someone who was obsessed with him.

"Are you scared someone would steal your husband?"

"She's obsessed with you."

"No one is stealing me from you. I'm all yours, baby. I'm running late. I need to leave now so I'll return home really earlier tonight for more beautiful moments with you. I can't stop thinking about how hard you—" "Shut up and leave." I stood on my tip toes to give him a kiss.

"I love you."

I only smiled, internally dancing in excitement that I had confirmed I loved him too. I swear it was the best feeling of my life.

I accompanied him out of the house till he got into his car. "Wear something decent and go to work. There's a lot to do. Don't forget you're now the boss' wife and you have more responsibilities at work." I nodded in understanding and waved him goodbye.

The moment the car swerved away and out of the compound, I returned inside, forgetting to shut the door.

I flinched as the door closing on its own sounded.

Before I could turn back, a hand covered my mouth.

"Don't speak." No way! That voice was damn too familiar.

I was twirled around and came face to face with Faith. Though her hair was still very disheveled, she had a dangerous look in her hazel eyes.

My eyes widened as I noticed a clearly sharp knife in her other hand.

She placed her index finger on my lips. "Shhhh. Don't speak or you'll die."
