"Hi, Faith. We should go on a walk together, don't you think?"

"Yes, please. I'm so bored of staying at home."

"You're not as bored as I am." I sighed, sitting on one of the dining chairs. "Since I stopped working, I think I've become more lazy and I feel fatter. I'm more than bored whenever Hames is away." "You shouldn't be so bored, I'm here for you." She winked at me.

"You don't understand, you can't be my husband. Whenever he's around me, there's a different feeling, a different mood, more happiness, relief." I sighed again.

"Ouch, that hurts a little. If you miss him so much, why don't you pay him a surprise visit?" She asked, reaching for an apple from the bowl of fruits on the dining table.

"Wow, Faith. That's really brilliant. I should cook for him since it's almost his lunchtime, pay him a visit, wear a very sexy dress then you and I would go on a walk or shopping together afterwards." "That sounds great too."

I rose to my feet, held Faith's hand and immediately left for the kitchen whilst pulling her with me.

With her assistance, I made Macaroni and cheese with corn and fried chicken.

She helped me out with packaging it properly while I left for my room to select the perfect sexy dress for me.

I wore a crop top that showed off my cleavage, with bumshorts and a long jacket, matching it with a pair of white sneakers then applied little make-up to my face.

I looked more stunning than ever and wished I could take pictures to post on my social Media accounts but Hames wasn't ready for us to reveal our pregnancy to our social media accounts though I suspected that the news was already a

rumor.

I immediately returned to the living room the same time Amanda came in.

"Hey, here." She extended her hand to me.

"What?"

"Just take it," she rolled her eyes.

I lowered my gaze to her hand and my jaw dropped after seeing my wedding ring between her index finger and thumb. "I knew it had to do with you!"

"I saw it lying on the floor and kept it but I realized I don't need it at all, it's pointless, so have it."

Reluctantly, I took it from her. "I hope I won't get electrocuted after wearing it," I said, sliding the ring into my ring finger.

"So dramatic." She rolled her eyes again, glancing behind her. "I'll be returning to my country tonight and I think that stupid Tyler and I might have to go in the same plane because his flight is taking off at exactly the same time as mine. He's really annoying."

I smirked. "It's so cool. Hopefully, you'll stop thinking of ever having my Hames, my husband, and focus on someone that's showing interest in you."

"You've always been so mean, how can you wish bad luck upon me?" She pouted and I had to admit that she looked cute which made me chuckle. "So my frustration is funny now?" She walked away from me. "Those maids should help me out with packing my bags."

"He's not so bad for you. You're both crazy people and you make a good match!" I yelled behind me. She paid no attention to me, walking away.

I returned to Faith who had the food in a bag then we left for my car and the driver got in too.

Faith and I chatted throughout the drive that lasted for a couple of minutes till the car parked behind the building.

"You can wait in the car or take a stroll, or go to a restaurant, I'll give you a call when I return." I said to Faith, collecting the bag from her.

"Okay, no problem." She smiled.

Immediately I got out of the car, two bodyguards started walking behind me while my jacket was sweeping the floor.

More bodyguards followed me at every corner and door I passed with almost everyone creating a path for me and I received greetings I was unable to respond to.

I got into the elevator and it transported me to the 68th floor where Hames' office was.

I didn't bother to knock but pushed the door open and walked in. This weird husband of mine didn't even realize someone just walked in till I slammed the door. Flinching, he raised his head to me. "Imogen?" A smile appeared on his face.

I sauntered to him, sitting on his table and dropped the bag of lunch on the table as well.

"I wasn't expecting you here, I really missed you." He set his files aside, placing his arms on either side of me.

I heard the sound of a door opening then the clicking sound of heels approaching us.

"Good afternoon, sir, I'm done with this." That was a female's voice. I noticed the door to my office swinging which meant she just came out of it.

"You have a new secretary and didn't let me know?"

"I was going to let you know tonight. She just started working today because it's so hard for me to work without a secretary, and she's really good."

"Thank you for the compliment, sir." Her face flushed red. Oh no, she was so pretty, slender, and sexy. What if he fell for her charm? "Hames," I frowned.

"Drop them over there and give us privacy. You may go for lunch now." He said in his Mr. Hendrix tone rather than my sweet Hames. "Thank you, sir." She nodded then took her leave.

After she shut the door, I glared at him. "She's too pretty to be your secretary."

"Really? She is? I didn't notice that." He glanced at the door.

"Stop joking around," I slapped his chest. "What if she starts to fall for you? I'll retain my job as your very personal secretary immediately after I give birth to Tristan."

He laughed at me. "Why are you women always so insecure? I haven't noticed how she looks because I've been thinking about you all day long, and I'm really hungry." He placed a kiss on my tummy. "I was also thinking of our little prince."

"I made lunch. I'm hungry if you are, so let's eat." I rose to my feet, holding the bag on one hand and his hand on the other, leading him to one of the black leather sofas, to have our seats.

"Hey, Tristan. How are you doing? I hope you aren't stressing mommy out. I love you so much and I can't wait to have you small fists around my fingers." He kissed my tummy again, keeping his arms around my waist. His communication with Tristan was starting to be cute to me rather than weird since he was doing it everyday.

I served our lunch.

"You seem like you'll love Tristan more than me."

"That's not possible. I'll love you equally. Thinking of you makes me the happiest man in the world, the same way thinking of Tristan makes me feel."

"Isn't it strange how the cold, grumpy, ruthless CEO is ready to fall at the feet of a child, just to be sweet."

I started feeding him while he grinned.

"It is, my love, but I love children a lot. I'm the most excited father-to-be this world can ever have."

"I'm very glad about that anyway."

We fed each other till our stomachs were filled though I ate more because I was eating for two.

"Have I told you how hot you look this afternoon?" He shifted closer to me, placing a kiss on my chin.

"I know, I decided to dress sexy for your sake." I smiled proudly.

"And you've done that perfectly fine. Just taking a look at you makes me feel like..." he had a smile on but it quickly transformed to a frown. "You came all the way from home like this?" "Yeah, so what?"

"So what? Other men would've been looking at you with lust."

"Then that's their problem, not mine." I shrugged.

"Imogen, this isn't fair. Other men shouldn't see what's mine, I'll pluck their eyes out." He growled, placing a kiss on my cleavage.

"Your possessiveness scares me sometimes, you know?" I hugged his head to my chest, kissing his forehead.

"I know, but I can't help it."

"No one's taking me from you."

"I also know that."

"So let me wear what I want."

"Fine, fine, wear what you want but if any man tries to flirt with you, I'll know and rush to you to beat the man up."

"Weirdo... I'm disturbing you from working, am I?"

"You are but it's fine."

"Don't worry, I'll be leaving soon. Faith should be waiting for me, we'll go on a stroll and go shopping."

"I said it's fine, wait a little longer, please." He sounded like a child begging for the last piece of candy in a jar. "I love you so much."

"Hames," I called and he hummed a response, caressing my tummy. "I love you." I started massaging his head.

"That was a dramatic pause but I love you and Tristan more. I can't wait for him to be out into this world. We'll be a complete family, then we'll start planning our second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, till the tenth pregnancy." "Tenth pregnancy? Nah, that's not happening."

"I really love children. I'll never experience sadness if I have you and our children in my life. Tristan, then Imogen, then Imogen II, Hames junior, Imogen III, Hames Junior II, Imogen IV..."

"You must be out of your mind, my beloved husband. Who on Earth would name their children after their names with the Roman figures behind it." I laughed boisterously.

"You'll see, I'll make sure it happens."

"Not even in your wildest dreams. I can't imagine having my children bear those names. Jeez... ten children? Not happening."

"Yeah, it's not happening because they will be more than ten. We'll have children every year."

"In this belly, nah... this pregnancy isn't such an easy task."

"You'll see, I'll make sure it happens."

~ LILA ~

"Lila, you're extremely beautiful, the most beautiful woman on Earth." Kade said, glancing at me.

"Most beautiful woman in the world?" I scoffed. "Stop teasing me."

"You don't believe me? Whoa, you don't think you're the most beautiful woman on Earth?"

I didn't respond to him, only fiddling with my fingernails.

"Come here, babe." The thickness in his voice made a shiver run down my spine and again when he shifted to me on the couch, wrapping his arms around me, sending warmth into my body. "You are the smartest, most awesome, lovely, intelligent, elegant and extremely beautiful woman I've ever met. Everything about you fills me with happiness; your character, your naiveness, your voice, your belief, everything, and I love you very much."

I felt heat rising from my neck to my cheeks. "Thank you." I hugged him.

"Can you believe Nikita made me know she has feelings for me. She was here, wearing extremely revealing clothes to probably try to seduce me." "Would Nikitta ever let me live my life in peace?"

"She will. I was wondering if you'd be interested in coming with me for a trip. It's a business trip but with you, it'll be a romantic business trip." "That sounds very cool. Where is it?"

"Paris."

"Paris?!" I pulled away from him with a childish grin.

"You're excited to go to Paris?"

"Yes, it's been my dream to travel around the world with Paris being my major dream place to travel to, but of course lack of money didn't let me." "That's another benefit of having a billionaire boyfriend. We'll go to Paris. I'll try to make it very memorable for both of us, our love will strengthen." "Thank you so much."

"There's no need to thank me, just a kiss would do."

I wrapped my arms around his neck, linking my lips with his.

I was the luckiest woman in the world to have someone like Kade as my boyfriend.
