Chapter 191: Inducing

Ke Chen didn't know what Tan Lin was thinking. Seeing as she lowered her head and didn't speak, he didn't know what to say. For a time, the atmosphere in the room was awkward. After drinking a few mouthfuls of water, Ke Chen's eyes floated out the window. He didn't want to lay a showdown with Tan Lin for the time being. The woman's words were mixed with a trembling sound. Ke Chen felt the trembling of the woman in front of him and couldn't bear it. He pushed Tan Lin away with his arms, "Tan Lin, don't be like this."

"Why?" Tan Lin's face was full of confusion and her self-esteem was once again frustrated. She didn't expect that she had already taken the initiative and the other person was still indifferent. Ke Chen's voice was firm and calm, "Tan Lin, don't be like this."

The man's words completely crushed the last line of defense in Tan Lin's heart. She looked at her with red eyes and was unwilling, "Which part of me can't compare to Yu Fei? You're willing to touch her but not me?" Ke Chen was shocked when he heard Tan Lin mention Yu Fei's name and narrowed his eyes. "This is between us, it has nothing to do with her."

Seeing that Ke Chen was in such a hurry to clear up Yu Fei's relationship, Tan Lin was even more certain that in Ke Chen's heart, Khai was definitely not an invisible existence.

It wasn't until he heard the sound of the door closing that Ke Chen raised his head from the document and looked in the direction of the door.

When she ran back to her room, an indescribable sense of shame swelled in Tan Lin's heart. She was unwilling to get nothing in front of Ke Chen, but she could not do anything about it.

Without taking Tan Lin's matter to heart, Ke Chen closed the documents, took a shower early and lay in bed to rest.

The curtains weren't pulled open. He rested his hands under his head and looked at the sky outside. Unlike the dark sky in China, the night sky here was more like a dark blue color. There were many stars, and they were arranged in a messy yet orderly manner.

There were rarely such quiet rest time. Ke Chen stared out the window for a long time without retracting his gaze. Every speck of dust under the halo was so eye-catching, he walked around every corner of the city happily and took root in a small corner.

Silence rose in his heart. Ke Chen closed his eyes, wanting to enjoy this moment.
