CEO Proposed to His Ex-wife 99 Times -
Chapter 313 Don't Talk Nonsense
The media guy smiled, "I saw you and Mr. Grant together just now, so please excuse me for asking you and him..."
Katherine already knew what he wanted to ask.
She smiled, "I came with Mr. Haverford today. I happened to meet Marshall. We are not enemies when we are divorced. We are still friends and it was a peaceful divorce."
The media guy smiled, "You are really broad-minded."
His words had a hidden meaning.
Katherine smiled, "Marshall didn't cheat on me. You are wrong."
As soon as Katherine finished speaking, there was a noise at the entrance. Marshall, Kyle, and Clara had returned.
Katherine took a sip of tea.
Marshall walked over. He looked at Katherine, and then at the media guys. He said to the media guys, "What are you doing?"
The media guys didn't feel embarrassed. The person who was in charge saw Marshall and smiled, "Mr. Grant, please don't be angry. We saw Miss Jordan here and want to interview her."
Clara came over, speaking in a gentle and polite manner, "About what?"
Before that person could answer, Clara looked at Katherine, "Miss Jordan, are you okay?"
Katherine smiled, "I'm fine. They just got here, and didn't embarrass me."
Clara was better at handling such emergencies than Marshall was.
She walked directly to Katherine and sat beside her. She held Katherine's arm affectionately, and then looked at the camera, "I don't know what you want to report this time, but your false reports have really affected us. Miss Jordan and I are friends, and Mr. Grant and I are currently business partners. I hope the media can speak from the facts."
Katherine pursed her lips as if she was smiling, but if you looked closely, you can tell she was not smiling.
Marshall let out a sigh of relief and looked at Clara.
In fact, he knew that Clara's response was the most appropriate.
What Clara said not only resolved the current embarrassment, but also clarified the previous rumors on the Internet.
Marshall thought about it, and didn't say anything.
Kyle can't bear it because he knew that Katherine didn't like Clara.
Katherine must be very uncomfortable with Clara's arms around her.
Kyle has always been a person with distinct loves and dislikes.
He came over and helped Katherine up, pulling a long face, "Katherine is like a sister to me, you should be careful what you write. She's not a pushover. Think twice before you write, Rosalie..." He probably felt a little shameless to mention Rosalie Haverford.
He cleared his throat, "If you are talking nonsense again, I'm not over with you."
The media guys looked at Kyle, but none of them spoke.
They knew that Kyle was not afraid of anything.
Kyle was a guy without ethics.
The media guys actually looked down on Kyle. People thought such a rich family like the Haverford could cultivate a proper heir to their business world.
Who could think of that they cultivated such a foppery?
Everyone knew Kyle's personality.
The media guys looked at Kyle for a long time, and they probably didn't think of what questions to ask.
So, they turned their camera to Marshall.
They handed the microphone over too.
The media guy asked, "Mr. Grant, it was previously reported that you and Miss Jordan divorced because of Miss Henderson. Today the three of you are chatting peacefully. Does that mean what happened before..."
"What happened before?" Marshall said directly, "You made up what happened before."
The media guy was not embarrassed, and he smiled, "I take the liberty to ask if you and Miss Jordan divorced because there was a conflict between you two, or was it because of..."
The questions he asked were repeated, and he kept asking about their affairs.
"It's my fault. I ignored her before." Marshall tilted his head and seemed to think about it for a while. "It's because I didn't balance my family and work."
That explained some things.
Kyle was a little impatient, "Are you finished? What is the need to write about gossips? You should write something different to attract attention. There is going to be talent show recently. I think it should be a hot show. You can follow up and report it, there will definitely be rising stars in the music industry."
Katherine almost laughed. Who said Kyle was mindless? He changed the subject naturally.
Marshall signaled the waiter. The waiter understood what Marshall meant, and quickly came over and asked the media guys to go outside to report on the birthday party for Old Mrs. Walters. The media guys smiled at them and then packed up and left.
Katherine removed Kyle's hand on her shoulder, then looked at him, "You are great. You can almost be Hector's agent."
"Really?" Kyle was pleased, "Was I great?"
"Really good." Katherine looked at Clara who was still next to her.
Clara quickly returned to her previous seat.
The smile on her face has long disappeared.
Katherine lifted her dress and sat down.
Kyle looked at Clara, and said in a way that you didn't know whether it was a compliment or demeaning, "You did well." Clara smiled, "For everyone's benefit."
It was true.
Kyle sat down and looked at Marshall, "Please sit down. You did well just now, come and have some water."
Marshall couldn't hold back, and smiled, "You too. Those media guys are scared, so they don't dare to ask questions anymore."
Kyle leaned back on the chair, with his legs crossed, "Those media guys were annoying, and they try hard to replace fault. There was nothing at all at first, but once they reported it, it became a big deal." Katherine thought about it and asked, "Is the dinner party over? Should we wait here?"
"There is no need. When I came here just now, I saw the banquet hall opened, and there seemed to someone on the dance floor." Marshall said.
The dance floor?
Forget it, Katherine can't dance.
Mrs. Grant asked Katherine to learn how to dance before, saying that she might accompany Marshall to important occasions in the future, and she must be able to dance.
She studied for a period of time, Mrs. Grant hated her for being slow in learning, and disliked her dancing posture.
Mrs. Grant said that she was in a bad mood after seeing Katherine dancing, and Katherine did not continue to learn. Thinking of this, Katherine smiled. Mrs. Grant probably only tried to torment her back then.
Mrs. Grant asked Katherine to learn a lot of things, but in the end, it was Mrs. Grant who asked Katherine to stop. Katherine was not interested in dancing, but Kyle was.
There was a dance floor in Kyle's club too.
Sometimes he would go dancing alone. He didn't care if he can dance or not.
Kyle's eyes widened, "Let's go, I want to dance."
Kyle didn't wear his gold chain today, but in Katherine's imagination, Kyle was dancing with his god chain on.
Kyle was an activist. He stood up and pulled Katherine over, "Let's go, let me show you what is the God of Dance."
Katherine laughed, "Really?"
Marshall followed, "I want to see the God of Dance."
Clara looked at Katherine, then at Kyle. She rarely spoke, "I want to see too."
Everybody wanted to go dancing, and Katherine thought she should go too. She stood up and said, "I don't know how to dance. I'll be your audience."
Clara smiled from the bottom of her heart.00000000000
