Chapter 118

Finley's weakness was cooking.

No matter what, Bryan was still her husband. It wasn't that girl's turn to please him.

Suddenly, an idea came to her. She rushed over, grabbed a few pieces of peach cookies from the other's plate and stuffed them into her mouth. She ate too fast, and it choked her.

"Cough cough..."

Immediately, she picked up the pot of tea and downed the liquid directly from the spout.

Then, she burped.

Tessa was bewildered for a while before she screamed, "Gosh, you ugly b*tch, what right do you have to eat my food? I made them for Bryan."

The little girl was so angry that her face turned pale, her feet stamping on the ground.

Finley licked the corner of her lips, "Bryan doesn't like to eat sweet food. Your pastry is too sweet and the tea is too bitter. It's not delicious. Bryan won't like them even if you bring them in. It's just right for me to eat them so we don't waste them."

"You... you..." Tessa was too mad to say anything. She simply opened the door of the study and rushed in with the empty tray.

"Bryan," Tessa was so aggrieved that she was about to cry.

Finley stuck on the door frame. She wanted to see if Bryan would scold her because of this

afternoon tea.

The man's head was held low as he was working. Bryan looked up at Tessa in front of him, "Who allowed you to come in without knocking first? Don't you remember the rules? Get out."

"Bryan, Finley ate the afternoon tea and cookies I made for you." Tessa was so angry that she didn't remember the etiquette at all. Even if she remembered, she only wanted Bryan to stand up for her. "What's problem with her eating the cookies? Why are you so petty?" Bryan frowned and seemed to be blaming Tessa.

The girl was dumbfounded. She bit her lower lip in grievance, "But I made them for

you.

"I don't like sweet food. Get out. Don't let me say it a second time." No one dared to resist Bryan's cold order once it was heard.

No matter how aggrieved Tessa was, she could only walk out of the study with the tray in her hand.

Seeing the other leaving, Finley flashed into her room and closed the door.

After Tessa was sent out, her heart was filled with anger and she could not bring herself to calm

down.

Hearing the sound of Finley closing the door, she shoved the tray into the help's arms then marched toward the woman's room, slamming on the door.

"Finley, come out here. I didn't play with you. Give me back my cookies!"

"Finley, you ugly b*tch, if you have the gut, come out here!"

Tessa was throwing a tantrum outside.

Finley wanted to listen to music for a while, but the other was so annoying she then lost her interest.

Opening the door, Finley poked her head out, asking, "Why are you so stingy? It's just a plate of cookies. I'll make it for you."

"Okay, then make it for me now."

"No problem."

Finley got out of the room and went downstairs to the kitchen.

She pulled Kate into the kitchen to assist her for a while as she learned how to make cookies.

Because the materials and tools Tessa had used were still there, she just needed to use them conveniently.

Half an hour later, Finley brought a plate of pastries she made to Tessa and said, "Here you go. If you disturb me again, I'll cut your tongue off." With that, she went upstairs.

Tessa gnashed her teeth in anger, but she really didn't dare to offend the other.

After the woman left, she held the plate of pastries and studied it.

The things looked so ugly, and the taste was unknown.

She picked up a piece to try.

As soon as the cookies got into her mouth, she spat out, "What the hell is this?! It's so disgusting. If I bring these to Bryan, he will be poisoned to death!"
