Chapter 197

Finley, who was fighting in the game, heard a knock on the door, jumped off the sofa, and went to get the door.

Bryan's handsome face appeared. Finley was stunned. "Why are you the one who brought me the

milk?"

"What, are you afraid that I'll poison you?" Bryan walked into the room with the milk. He placed the tray on the table and sat down on the sofa casually.

Wearing headphones, Finley commanded her comrades to fight. "By the road. Kill them..."

Finley was so busy that she completely ignored Bryan on the sofa.

Bryan's face darkened.

He felt displeased that Finley ignored him.

He felt that he was not so important as a game for Finley.

He endured this neglect for five minutes.

Bryan got up from the sofa and took away the cell phone from Finley. "Is that so interesting?"

"I will win soon. Give back my phone. I will do whatever you ask me after I win."

Finley was leading her teammates to victory. She would go mad if she suffered defeat on the verge of victory.

Hearing this, Bryan gave the phone to Finley.

It took Finley only two minutes for end the game with a victory.

Putting the phone aside, Finley picked up the cup of warm milk and took a sip. "Why haven't you gone back to your room? Why are you sitting here?" Bryan frowned.

This woman was simply... a fool.

"Aren't you afraid of sleeping alone?" Bryan blurted out this stupid question.

Instantly, he regretted it.

However, he couldn't withdraw the message as he did online.

This question amused Finley. "I've slept alone for a long time. Hubby, what is wrong with you today?" Perhaps, he was out of mind.

Finley seemed to be weak and coward. In fact, she had gone through a lot of rigorous training.

The most unforgettable one in her life was the few months in the Devil Camp.

That camp was like a purgatory, and Finley had experienced all kinds of trials there.

Finley didn't dread the mantis, the snakes, the horror films, or the darkness. How would she be afraid

of sleeping alone at night?

Bryan realized his mistake and became gloomy.

Angry, he sprang to his feet.

Then, there came a bang.

The door was slammed shut.

Bryan was gone.

Finley frowned. "What's wrong with you?"

Bang!

The light disappeared in the blink of an eye.

The whole mansion fell into darkness.

The power had been cut off.

In the pitch-black room, Finley could not see her fingers.

The power failure happened in the mansion for the first time.

Jason thought that there was something wrong with the electric circuits. He immediately called a electrician over.

Mr. Turner would flare up if this power failure continued!

Jason led the electrician to the power supply room.

Harry stood there and waved at them. "Leave now, both of you. It is I who cut the power off."

Jason looked confused. "Harry, don't you dread Mr. Turner? You are in big trouble."

"Without his instructions, did I have the guts to do so?" Harry asked with a smile.

Jason and the electrician scratched their heads in confusion. They didn't understand what Harry had meant.

In the bedroom, Finley found that her phone had only 1% of the power.

She had been busy with games and forgot to charge the phone.

Ding!

A text message came.

It was a message from the private detective hired by Finley.

Finley had paid others to replace Gates.

There had been no news till now. Finley was overjoyed and quickly checked the message.

After a beep, the screen of the phone went black.
