CEO’s Surrender With You I Can Never Win -
Chapter 238
Chapter 238
It seemed as if Finley was invited to the police station for some coffee instead of the interrogation.
Mr. Barton did bring Finley a cup of coffee.
Finley said awkwardly, "Hello, officer."
"Come sit down. Relax. It will be a casual chat."
Mr. Barton sent for some fruits and then led Finley to sit on the sofa.
it's hot today. Turn on the air conditioner." Mr. Barton told his man behind him.
This order shocked the others. Mr. Barton, who was frugal, turned on the air conditioner for the
suspect
"The coffee is awful Go buy something good for the girl."
Finley was speechless
Andy, Mr. Barton had ignored, was speechless.
Finley couldn't help wondering whether Mr. Barton could solve the case.
He was good to me because I was Mrs. Turner. Would he throw me into the hearing room if I didn't marry Bryan?
How horrible the reality was!
"Mr. Davis, please take a seat." Mr. Barton was a bit cold to Andy.
Perhaps because the Davis family was not so influential as the Turner family.
Andy nodded and sat beside Finley.
"Let's cut to the chase. Apart from you, who did Delia have an issue with?"
"Tricia, two days ago, they had a fight at the campus. Many students saw the fight." Finley showed no mercy to Tricia.
This case was weird because Delia deliberately left Finley's name in her suicide note and played the recording as if she was anxious to tell the world that Finley was the murderer.
There was no blood feud between Finley and Delia, so all the evidence against Finley made this case look like an instigation.
"Isn't Tricia your sister?" Mr. Barton was surprised at Finley's candor.
"I don't have a sister like her." Finley pouted.
She didn't want to explain anymore.
I would continue after they brought Tricia here.
Finley leaned against the sofa with her arms crossed, looking like a haughty queen.
Mr. Barton got the hint. He winked at one policeman to bring Tricia over.
Twenty minutes later, Tricia walked into the police station in a white dress.
She became unhappy after replaceing the police entertaining Finley. Moreover, Andy was there to keep Finley company.
I thought Finley was in the hearing room for the horrible interrogation.
Finley took a sip of coffee. She put down her cup at the sight of Tricia.
"Why did you send me here? Sir, she slandered me, didn't she?" Tricia didn't sit down.
She considered the police station a dirty place, and her dress would be tainted after she sat in such a place
"Please sit down, Tricia. I want to ask you a few questions." Mr. Barton told his man to pull a chair over for Tricia.
There were no room for Tricia on the sofa.
Tricia glanced coldly at that broken chair. "Why does she sit on the sofa while I sit on the chair? Is this your attitude to me? Why is there discrimination?"
