Chapter 241

Finley shrugged and looked at Tricia with disdain.

"Officer, may I go home now?" Finley turned around and asked Mr. Barton.

Mr. Barton nodded after one glance at the minutes behind him. "Okay. I got the answers to my questions. It's getting late. You can leave now." Mr. Barton turned around.

Two people stood at the door of the room.

One was the domineering Bryan in a black suit, and the other was Harry.

The police station quieted down for the arrival of these two men.

Mr. Barton immediately put down the documents in his hand at the sight of Bryan and ran over. "Mr. Turner, why are you here? Please take a seat." Bryan walked into the room and stared at Finley coldly.

His expression turned colder at the sight of Andy, who stood next to Finley.

Finley raised her head and looked at Bryan in a daze. She wanted to say something but didn't know what to say.

He came to my rescue personally! He did much better than he had that night when we got the marriage license.

In contrast, he made rapid progress.

"She drank coffee at the police station at this late hour. What did she do again?" Bryan asked maliciously.

This sounded like a strong defense for Finley.

Mr. Barton and his men nervously swallowed their saliva.

Mr. Barton, who was in charge of this case, braced himself and ex lained, "It

is a trifle. Sorry, Mr. Turner."

"My woman came to the police station again and again. How will the others think of me?" Bryan stared at Mr. Barton coldly. Mr. Barton took a deep breath.

It wasn't my fault that your woman was troublesome.

We wouldn't bring her here again and again if she was docile.

I didn't want to bring her here, but there was a murder. Because of you, I was polite to her.

Finley felt that Bryan was harsh to those policemen though he was defending her.

"Dear, they didn't make things difficult for me. Moreover, I have proved my innocence. I stayed with

you over the past two days, so I am not the murderer."

"Shut up! I'll deal with you after we go home." Bryan yelled at Finley mercilessly.

I could protect her here and teach her a lesson at home.

Finley lowered her head and pouted with grievance.

This man was not so perfect as I imagined.

He was protective of me but also bad to me.

Seeing Bryan defend Finley, Tricia, who had not left yet, clenched her fists with jealousy.

Wordless, Tricia rushed out of the police station with anger.

The couple walked out of the police station.

Andy followed behind them.

He was down.

I thought I could help Finley at the police station.

However, there was nothing for me to do.

First, Finley was smart and solved all the problems by herself.

Second, the policemen dreaded Finley because Bryan was behind her back,

What could I do?

The couple walked to the black Maybach, and Harry opened the door for them. Bryan pushed Finley into the car.

After a bang, the car door was slammed shut.

Then, Byran turned around and walked to Andy.

Finley in the car watched Bryan take Andy away through the window.
