Chapter 18

I feel the weight of my whole body. I couldn't move properly, especially with Damon's arm around my waist. I woke up early or maybe I was just not used to it because I woke up with Damon still next to me.

I think this is the first time I saw him sleeping next to me. I couldn't help but look at his face. It's funny because even when he's asleep he still looks stuck. His forehead was furrowed as if even in his dream he had an enemy. But even so, he is still very handsome. Shit! I am fantasizing about him!

I closed my eyes tightly as I remembered everything that happened last night. I can't deny that I loved everything that happened last night. I also did not think that in one moment I would be given my all to him. I never thought it would come to the point that I would have s*x with a man, but I don't know why when it was Damon who kissed me, I couldn't stop anymore.

I took a deep breath and decided to get out of bed. I don't think I can face him after everything that happened. I feel like I will be swallowed by shame. I don't know how to treat him after all!

I tried to lift his arm, but it was too heavy. I'm sure he'll wake up quickly if I forcefully remove it from me. That's why I moved slightly to the end of the bed, but I didn't get far when I felt him quickly pulling me closer to his body! He's awake! Damn it!

"Where do you think you're going?" his voice was raspy and...sexy! Shit!

"I-I'll take a shower, Damon!" I said nervously and slightly pushed him away, but he was too strong, and I was even closer to him. I can feel the heat of his body. His upper body is still naked. Good thing he's wearing boxers' underneath and I'm wearing a shirt anyway!

"Then, let's shower," my eyes widened when he said that, but I couldn't react anymore when he quickly lifted me and carried me to the bathroom!

"What the hell are you doing?!" I panicked. But he didn't answer. He opened the shower and placed me under it. Because he was taller than me, I looked up at him.

"Not because something happened to us, we can take a bath together!" I snort at him. He raised an eyebrow. It's like he doesn't listen to anything I say!

"Don't you want this?" I feel like he's seducing me with his voice. He even touched one of my breasts and slowly massaged it! Damn it, Damon!

"S-Stop!" I don't know if I want to stop him from doing it or not! He smirked at my reaction. He stepped forward and made my back lean against the wall. He is also getting wet from the shower. I don't know but I just get hotter by what I see. Damn! He looks so hot under the shower!

"It looks good on you..." he whispered while staring at something on my left shoulder. I frowned at what he said. That's why I peeked at what he was looking at and frowned when I saw a black circular shape stamped on my skin!

"What's this?!" I turned to him hysterically. How did I get that? And what does that mean?

He crouched a bit to level my eyes. The water rushed from his head to his shoulders. It's the same with me but it's stronger with him because he's now the one under the shower.

"It's the Alpha King's mark, Athena." He said before he attacked me with his hungry kisses.

I was stunned as I watched the small circle on my shoulder. It is not immediately noticeable because it is so small. I never thought I would have this after everything that happened. Damon said it's the Alpha King's mark. Does that mean I'm officially his property? "Are you done changing, Luna?" I heard Anna outside of the walk-in closet.

"I'm almost done!" I said. I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror. I'm wearing a long bohemian dress. I really meant to wear it to hide the circle mark that Damon put on me and also to hide the red marks from my neck to my shoulders! When I remember what Damon did in the shower room, I can't stop blushing! Damon has a lot of energy when it comes to sex! I know these kinds of things but he's my first experience I didn't know he was that...insatiable.

That's why I can feel the pain in my body. I feel like I was hit by a big truck!

I came out of the walk-in closet and was stunned to see Anna talking to Damon! Why is he here? He just said goodbye because he had something else to do. He said earlier that I should have breakfast first. Damon saw me. He said something to Anna before she left. Damon and I were left alone again.

"I thought you had something important to do?" I asked and passed him. Damn it! With every move I make I can feel the soreness in my body!

"Yeah...but I'm done. Let's eat breakfast," he said. He followed me to the dining room. The servants immediately bowed to show respect for our arrival. Damon also pulled out a chair for me.

I didn't know sex has any strange effect on Damon. Do you think he became a gentleman after what happened? I just shook my head.

"I canceled this morning your session with Britney. You'll have that later this afternoon," he said as the servants served our food. Damon's words made me frown. And why is that? And he actually even talked to Britney huh?

"You talked...to Britney?" I chose to keep the tone casual even though I wanted to punch him in my mind.

"No. I ordered Stone to talk to her," he replied. I nodded and looked away, but his smirk didn't escape my eyes! He can see you, Athena! Pull yourself together!

"Then... why did you cancel it?" I pretend I'm serious. I even got to sip on the juice prepared by the waitresses.

"You'll come with me at my meeting with the council and elders," he said. Council and Elders? I know them. Britney once explained to me what use they are in the palace.

The Council thinks of laws that will benefit the entire kingdom and will pass them to Damon for approval. The Elders are focused on the culture and traditions of the pack. They are also said to have a strong relationship with the Moon Goddess. They are also advisors to the Alpha King.

I stopped in my thoughts when I noticed Damon staring at me. I furrowed my brows at him, but he just smirked. The a*****e was staring at the hickeys on my neck! Damn him!
