“An election?!” I nodded my head and stopped pacing my hands found their way to the desk andthey rested on it slightly.

“When I went to Alpha Daltons pack, I met the mayor of the human district, he was elected to relayany information to Alpha Dalton. The human district and the Lycan district are completely separate,and so the humans held an election to decide who would handle all interactions. It was a goodsystem and it actually gave me the idea.” I explained to the men in the room. “I think it would workfor the new king or queen to be chosen by the people. I think it would be beneficial to have not onesole ruler but multiple. Each country choosing and having its own ruler and using them to cometogether maybe once a year or something to converse on matters.”

I had obviously already spoken to Lewis about this, but Gilliard was the opinion I needed. Lewis wasalways going to support me, but he was blas, whereas I knew Gilliard would give me his genuineopinion.

“How would the candidates be chosen though?” His thoughts were going through his head fasterthan I ever thought they would. of the election? I sighed, I had thought about this also, but it wasLewis who actually came up with the most fair plan of action.

“We thought the people could nominate.” Lewis admitted from behind me. “We’ll count each andevery nomination and the four individuals with the highest amount of nominations will campaign forthe title of ruler. This will be the case for all the other countries also,” Contemplation, was the onlything on Gilliards face, his eyebrows knitted together in a frown and his lips pursed in thought.

“What if you two are among the candidates chosen?” My eyes grew slightly wide at this thought, Iguess I hadn’t exactly thought of everything. Although, there were millions of people in Americaalone, I doubt I would be one of the four chosen.

“I’m very much doubting I will even make it through the battle, but, if that were to happen then wewould accept our fate, and lead people to the best of our abilities.” I felt Lewis’s hand gentlysqueeze my shoulder and it caused me to sigh. The feeling of his hand causing sparks to shootthrough me.

“Your idea is quite sound actually. I think many people will agree… you should present this to AlphaDalton and see where his opinion lies.” I nodded my head and smiled, this could actually work, anelection is both just and fair, it’s not relying on hierarchy or legitimacy, it’s completely the choice ofpeople. “This could be the idea that sways him to provide us with aid from his pack.”

“It’s a brilliant idea.” Lewis whispered into my ear before kissing my temple. My knees went week atthe simple gesture and I finally turned to meet his eyes, yet again arousal flooded the room from thepair of us.

“It’s a good plan… now get out and get a room that’s not my office.” GiDiard was smiling from ear toear which made me giggle slightly.

“That is an even better plan.” Lewis quickly threw me over his shoulder, enticing laughter, andmarched straight back to our room. It was about time I accepted the pleasures of intimacy instead ofbeing so worried.

And we did enjoy ourselves… for two days straight.
