I sit in my cell, staring at the moon as it casts an eerie light through the small barred window. My heart beats rapidly in my chest, fear gripping me tightly. The plan the boys had come up with seemed so risky.

Would it even work? What would happen to me if it failed?

I try to push those thoughts aside and focus on the plan.

They would cause a distraction during the assembly, giving Levi the opportunity to give false orders and hand me over to Asher. Then we would all flee to their private residence and I would be safe.

But what if something goes wrong? What if the Alpha King replaces out? What if Levi has already betrayed us? What if he had already discovered their plan?

I shudder at the thought of what the Alpha King would do to me if the plan failed. The torture and abuse I had suffered before would pale in comparison. But I couldn't let my fear take over. I had to have faith in the boys, in Levi. They had promised to protect me no matter what. Well, Levi excluded.

I take a deep breath and try to calm my racing heart. The moon outside my cell seems to grow brighter, as if mocking me with its beauty. But I know that beauty can be deceiving. Just like the boys' plan could be a trap.

I close my eyes and whisper a prayer to the heavens, hoping that whoever was up would watch over me tonight. That they would guide the boys to safety and lead me away from danger.

But as the minutes tick by and the full moon looms closer, my fear grows stronger. Will I make it out of this alive?

I'm still chained, the weight of the metal shackles digging into my skin. I can feel the sharpness of the cold metal, and it's like a constant reminder of the situation I'm in.

I try to push away my fear and focus on the plan.

I couldn't help but feel that the plan the boys had come up with was childish at times. How could they possibly hope to outsmart the Alpha King and his pack? But then again, it was our only hope.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps downstairs, muffled voices echoing through the halls. My heart raced as I realized that the time had come. The blood moon was upon us, and I was to be executed at the stake.

My mind raced as I tried to focus on the plan, but the fear was almost too overwhelming. What if something went wrong? What if we were caught before we could even make it out of the pack residence?

I could feel my hands shaking as I tried to control my breathing, to calm myself down. But it was no use. The sounds of the pack grew louder and louder, and I knew that any moment now, they would be coming for me.

As I sat there, I couldn't help but think back on my life before all of this. How different things used to be, how simple. And now here I was, tied up to a chain in a cell, waiting for my execution.

I hear the footsteps long before they reach my cell. They sound heavy and purposeful, and my heart rate quickens as the sound gets louder.

I know that this is it - the moment I've been dreading. The guards are coming for me, and soon I'll be led to the stake to be executed. I try to calm myself down and remind myself that the boys have a plan, but the fear is overwhelming.

The sound of the lock turning sends shivers down my spine. The door creaks open and three guards step in. They approach me, and I can feel their eyes on me as they survey my state. I'm still tied up, and they help me up roughly, their hands grabbing at my arms and shoulders.

I wince in pain as they pull me towards the door.

Then, one of them starts to undo my dress. I feel violated, exposed. I try to push him away, but the chains around my wrists and ankles hold me in place. I feel tears streaming down my face, and I can't help but wonder how I got here. How did my life come to this?

But then, a voice interrupts my thoughts. It's Levi's raspy voice.

"Don't untie her dress." He said from behind the bars, gazing at me for a moment before he strode in. "Take her out but leave the dress."

For a moment, I feel relieved - maybe he's come to rescue me. But then, the guards start to argue back, and I can tell that this isn't going to end well.

"But...but the Alpha King has commanded that she's stripped-"

Levi's fist connected with the guard's face with a sickening thud. The force of the blow sent the guard flying backward, his body slamming into the stone wall with a sickening crunch. The guard's eyes rolled back into his head as he fell to the ground, blood gushing from his nose and mouth.

I stood frozen in shock as I watched the guard's lifeless body lying there on the ground, blood pooling around his head. Levi had just killed a man, and I couldn't wrap my head around what had just happened.

The other guards quickly stepped back, fear etched on their faces as they realized the extent of Levi's strength. They didn't dare speak, but I could see the rage in their eyes as they glared at him.

Levi turned his attention back to me, gently taking me by the arm as the other guards lifted me up. He was calm and collected, as if nothing had just happened.

I can't see what's happening, but I can hear the commotion. The rest of the guards start to panic, and they grab me roughly, not bothering to undo my dress. I can feel their fear as they carry me out of the cell and down the hall.

I'm still in shock as they lead me outside.

As they lead me through the crowd towards the platform, I can feel the weight of their collective hatred bearing down on me. The air is thick with curses and insults, and I can hear their howls ringing in my ears.

I try to keep my head down, to shut out the sound, but it's no use. I know that I'm about to die, and that knowledge is suffocating.

The sky overhead is bleary and grey, as if the very heavens are mourning my impending death. The clouds look heavy and oppressive, like they're about to break open and unleash a deluge of rain. I can't help but feel that it's a fitting backdrop for the horror that's about to unfold.

As we reach the platform, I can see the Alpha King waiting for me with a look of disgust on his face. He's dressed in his ceremonial robes, his chest puffed out with pride. He thinks he's doing the right thing, but he's just a monster in fancy clothing. Alpha King begins to speak, and his voice booms.

"I hereby pass the judgment on this traitor, Amery. She is guilty of being born to a family of traitors who slayed our royal ancestor. Her mere existence is an insult to our pack and a threat to our way of life. Her punishment is death by the hands of our pack warrior, as an example to anyone who dares to question my authority.

"Let this serve as a warning to all who would seek to betray me or our pack. Justice will be swift, and the punishment severe. Let her fate be a lesson to those who would consider treachery.

"May the Moon Goddess have mercy on her soul, for I will show her none."

"Yessss!!!" The crowd roared.

As I stood there, waiting for the executioner's axe to fall, my heart was racing with anxiety. The crowd around me was jeering and cursing, their eyes filled with hate and disdain. The bleary sky above only added to the ominous feeling of the moment. And then, suddenly, a commotion erupted in the crowd.

A young man stepped onto the platform, dressed only in his briefs. His chiselled abs and biceps were on full display, and the girls in the crowd went wild. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Quincy was always causing a scene.

But as he began to speak, I realised that he had a plan.

"Hey, Dad," he called out, his voice ringing through the assembled pack. "Nice day for an execution, huh?"

The Alpha King scowled, clearly not amused.

"What is the meaning of this?" He demanded.

Quincy smirked. "Oh, nothing much. Just thought I'd come and say goodbye to my little mate. And maybe show off my new briefs while I'm at it."

I cringed inwardly at his lame joke, but the crowd seemed to be eating it up. However, things took a turn when the guards were called to seize Quincy. He disarmed them easily, and they began to fight.

Meanwhile, I was still tied up and helpless, watching the chaos unfold before me. And then, just when I thought all was lost, Levi made his move.

He took out the warrior who was supposed to execute me, and I couldn't believe my eyes. Was this really happening? Was I actually going to survive this?

Levi approached me, and I braced myself for the worst. But instead of betraying us, he released me from my bonds and spoke to me in a low voice.

"We still have unfinished business, Amery," he said. "But for now, I'm doing this for my brothers, not you."

Once Levi broke me out and we were about to run away through the chaos, the Alpha seemed to have noticed and sent his guards after us. Levi handled them effortlessly. The extent of his power was both intimidating and admirable as he ripped and clawed those who dared to touch me. Ironically, he was the very one who had sworn he won't keep to the vow.

I didn't know what to say, but I was grateful nonetheless. As we snuck away into the woods, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. And then, Asher appeared out of nowhere, embracing me tightly and kissing my cheek.

I was surprised, to say the least, but we didn't have much time to dwell on it. The guards were hot on our tail. Quincy appeared just then, still in his briefs, and we all left together, not looking back.
