Claimed By The Rogue Alpha Chapter 42

=Matteo==

I hadn't fully made it out of town when I noticed a navy blue Toyota trailing me. At first, I had thought nothing of it, but then as time passed I realised the person was in fact on my tail. He'd taken every turn I'd taken. So, now I was convinced. However, I decided to ignore him. Should I keep going and notice he was still following me, I would then lash out.

And just like that, he didn't back off. I made to jam the brakes, but hesitated. That was a foolish thing to do. If I did that, the guy would be forced to hit use brakes too. Or, he would keep going. The consequences were the same. It meant that we both would collide and fall to our deaths. So, instead of jamming my brakes, I gradually slowed down. The car copied me, and I, unable to put up with the nuisance anymore, killed the engine. It was with anger that I pulled the car door open. Heaven knew, this person wasn't going to have it funny. I got to the car and stood at the driver's side. The windows were tinted and wound all the way up, so I could see nothing. I shut my eyes, bringing out Gould, my wolf. I didn't fully morph. It was just my eyes. It had gone from blue to red, enabling me to know who was behind the wheel. It was a guy. Silver haired, causally dressed in a long sleeved shirt and jeans. He looked straight at the direction of my car. Not blinking.

I tapped on his window to draw his attention. He didn't sir. Didn't move an inch. A deep frown must have formed on my face now. My eyes moved to the backseat and I realised there wasn't anyone there. I took my gaze back to this person, unable to come up with an explanation for this crazy situation.

My eyes came back to normal and I walked back to my car. I didn't say a word to the guy because I was no fool. I was no moron. He wasn't gonna hear a thing I said, making me a yapping puppet. If this continued, the following stalking-vibe thingy, then, I'd be pushed to drag him out of his f*****g car. Damn whatever consequences were there.

I started my car and looked at the rearview mirror. The intruder was stationary. I pulled the gear to drive mood. Taking my eyes back to the rearview mirror, I realised the car still hadn't moved. What a creep. I thought. Well, that shouldn't have come as a surprise. There were a lot of those...lunatics at this part of Brooke hurt. However, I was up to the task. They knew better than cross my path.

I glanced back again. This time, the car was no longer in view. My muscle relaxed and I tuned the radio. Soft classical music emanated. It helped soothe my muscles.

However, no sooner had I let myself bask in the softness of the music than something caught my ears. The sound of a car speeding towards me. Shooting a glace at the rearview mirror, I saw the car. The creep was coming in full force. This time, I jammed my break abruptly. The anger in me had blinded me. Had clouded my judgement. And before I could rue making that foolish decision, I was already tumbling on the hard tarmac road. I spun in the air, taking in the shards of glass that had broken from the windshield. The car rolled down for ages before hitting a tree. Thanks to the seatbelt, I still remained in place in my seat. I'd surely have been hurled out of the car if I hadn't put it on.

Weakly, I undid the seatbelt and tried opening the door. It wouldn't. The tree had somehow barred it. I hoisted myself up to the other side. To the passenger side and was able to crawl out from there. In one heavy thud, I fell to the ground. My sides screaming in pain. It took one great effort to stand upright. And even so, I didn't have a steady stance. Just then, something rustled close. I turned quickly and immediately saw the punch directed at me. I was able to deflect the blow, catching the creature's arm mid air. A white wolf it was, and it roared. Its mouth wide open with saliva dripping down. It roared again and swung its other arm towards me. Once again, I caught it. My eyes reverting back to red.

I clasped its arms tightly, twisting it to an unnatural angle. It growled in pain, then began pushing me backwards. I stomped my feet in the ground, not wanting to budge. Somehow, I decided to let go of his hands. And just then, he delivered one more punch to my face. I stumbled backwards, but didn't fall. It came again to hit me, but I dodged, catching his arm once again. It turned sharply to me, but I was quicker. I drove it to the ground, with me on top. I held his lower limps in place using mine. And then sent one blow to his face. It growled, but I didn't stop. I punched it again. Harder than the first. It tried defending itself, by scratching his claws on my body. The pain was searing, but I ignored it.

Anger led me to clasp its neck and I tightened my grip with each passing second. It squirmed under my hold but I wasn't letting go. I held onto his neck and soon, he became limp. I definitely would have gone on with the battery, but then he morphed back to his normal self. There just was something with the human form when it came to werewolves. It made me feel like a murderer, although, I couldn't farther from the truth. From what I truly were. But still. I wasn't the cold blooded killer that cleared anything on his path without thinking twice.

And so, I got up from him, only standing some centimetres away. He grunted, his eyes still close. The creep, I could clearly see him now. The outline of his face, the brows that were brown-a great contrast to the snow white colour of his hair. His nose that had blood trickling down through a nostril. I stared, still battling with anger. The fool had crashed my vehicle. Did he know how much that cost? Or the story behind it? Did he know I had spent nothing less than five grand earlier? And the items that had cost me that could have been ruined? Of course he didn't. He was just a f*****g piss of shit that had decided to pick on me. Well, too bad for him since I didn't take bullying nicely.

I bent over him and hit him right under his jaw, knocking him out completely. ==Olivia==

I gave one last moan, and removed my finger from inside of me. My breath had increased and I was sweating profusely. F**k. I leaned on the bathroom wall, trying to catch my breath. My groin was still feeling tingly, and so I clasped my legs together-stifling a moan. After I must have pulled myself together, I buttoned up my blouse, pulled up my skirt and left the bathroom.

I'd f****d myself twice today. Top of that, Matteo kept appearing in my fantasies. But this time, unlike the first, I didn't groan out his name. Didn't ask him to f**k me. Rather, I completely ignored him and forced my brain to understand that I was pleasuring myself. Not that sick son of a bitch. I couldn't deny feeling really good. I mean, when last did I masturbate? Gosh, what I had been missing out on.

I got tucked into my bed, pulling the sheets up to my chin. I closed my eyes to sleep, and almost immediately began feeling dowsy. However, that feeling was short-lived, because at the same time, a knock came through. I frowned. The fucker. However, to my surprise, nothing was said and no other knock followed. That was strange. And even more strangely was the squeeze in my heart. That had to be Matteo, no doubt. But why hadn't he called my name. What had happened to that husky "Miss Haynes" he used each time. I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat, my eyes stinging from unshed tears.

I breathe. I guessed, well, I guessed I should just chin up and admit I had a crush on Matteo. What else could explain my feelings, my jealousy and the hurt I'd felt on learning of his betrayal. Wait a minute. Had I just said betrayal?

A dry laugh escaped my lips. Who was I kidding? I'd said betrayal as if we had some form of relationship. But that didn't mean it hadn't felt like it. I mean, Matteo had kissed me. Thrice. Even though the first hadn't seemed to count because he was drunk. But then, the other two were real. I sniffed. Gosh, I was a damn fool for letting myself get carried away. For falling so easily.

Sighing, I rolled to my side and shut my eyes.
