Claimed By The Rogue Alpha Chapter 49
==Matteo==
I laid stiff like a corpse, staring blankly. Then, her cry reached my ears. I widened my eyes.
The cry. It reflected pain, hurt, distress. F**k. I thought of raising, but then, I knew better. So. I closed my eyes, trying to stay focused in order to pinpoint the issue. A surge of energy flooded into my head, and her emotions reached me. I could feel it all: the fright in her voice, her pulsating heart, the dryness around the throat, the sweat. I could sense her perplexity. Olivia... My Olivia is in trouble. She was in trouble and here was I, struggling with this thing that emasculated me.
I tried all I could to get up, but my strength had faded.
The window was far away, at the other end of the room. Meaning that I had to walk-crawl several inches before I could reach there and get the moonlight to hit me. Ah f**k. I groaned. Shutting my eyes, I gathered courage. This was gonna hurt. A hell lot.
I pushed forward with my belly, disturbing my tensed muscles. A groan came out of me. Gotta get a little... Her scream came again. Blood curdling was it. And so, a deep frown found its way to my face. I pushed myself forward, biting back the pain. Olivia's fright was a taste on my tongue. I didn't believe in fear. I didn't associate myself with that feeling. Hence, I wouldn't start now to assimilate it. I had to get her out of whatever terrible situation she was in now.
My determination paid off. I found myself at the other of the room. And now, the tricky part... How the hell was I going to get to the bed and open up the window?
Her voice came again, much lucid this time. It sounded quite distance, something coming from afar. Pushing myself further close to the bed, I drew my mouth open. Not so wide, but just enough to enable me grip a spot on the bed with my teeth. By doing this, I propelled myself forward, getting on the bed.
Giving one last exasperated sigh, I reached for the remote control on the dresser, and pressed a button. The curtains pulled apart and the shutter blinds rolled up. Moonlight streamed in.
I shut my eyes, prepared for the pain of a lifetime. A sting ran across my body. It originated from my stomach and got dispersed. I writhed.
My vision changed, getting to the realm of infra-red. I rose, hunching on the bed as my limbs curved. I jutted my chin. The only emotion I knew being anger. Roaring, I leapt forward. The window shattered in the process. I landed on my feet and began racing.

I managed to talk myself into continuing with the journey, despite my sorry state. I didn't go through the front yard, but rather followed what I thought was the back yard. This region was strewn with leaves, shrubs, all that jazz. And so, I saw it as the right path to follow. It could lead me to a highway or something close to that.
Hobbling, I went further down and soon came upon a wooded area. I kept moving, never at all looking back. I couldn't be more grateful for the moon. It illuminated my path, making me mindful of where I put my bare feet. Plants-trees stood at every corner. They towered above me. I hadn't known that there was this much trees here. In my first attempt in escaping, I hadn't made it here.
I continued hobbling, going deeper into the woods. I'd made a considerable distance when something moved across behind me. I turned but didn't see anything. My heart leapt, but I called myself to other. Just keep going!
I walked further down until I got to a region that was quite difficult to go through. Bushes were closely grown together, and the grown had got outcrops shooting from it. Same thing with twigs, tendrils, pebbles. What's this place?. Worse still, my feet were bare so I picked up the raw pain, cuts and bruises.
To be honest, I was today-years-old when I realised that determination could get you anywhere. I was so keen on getting back home that I continued with my journey. Not minding the treacherous path. I kept moving, despite shivering helplessly from the breeze. Then, the movement behind me came again. I turned. Just like before, I couldn't replace anything. As I turned the other way, I picked up pace, not minding my injured ankle. I walked faster, not at all bothered about the bushes and thorns that clawed at me. The howl of a wolf echoed. That heightened my fear. It's just a wolf, Olivia. Just a wolf. I didn't want to think in the other direction. Didn't want to consider the other possibility. Footsteps began to rustle close. Now, I didn't have to be told that someone was following
me.
My fast walking graduated to jogging. I couldn't go past that because of my ankle.
I hit my accidentally hit a log, and toppled over-tumbling all the way down. My body rolled in every direction, getting bashed against the rocks and all. The tumbling soon ceased, but I laid still. My eyes shut tightly as my entire body burned. Opening my eyes, tears escaped. I didn't bother to clean them up, rather I let them flow.
I caught something in the bushes. Two glowing round objects. Yellow like amber. It took my a few lash batting to realise that those weren't objects. Heat left my body and I stared, eyes wide open. I froze.
But then, my mouth appeared to act on impulse much faster than my legs. I screamed, a sound frightening to me even.
I sprang up and began skipping off. The thing I'd seen, it growled, making me quicken my pace, or did I? Before I knew what was happening, I found myself, falling flat on the floor. And before I could react, I began to be pulled backwards. The thing had gripped me. I screamed further, shooting my hands out, trying to grip on to anything. I screamed as it got deeper and I began to see other pairs of eyes. F**k! No, no. The growling increased and I was dropped. I shut my eyes, prepared to have my body torn apart. But then, all I heard was a roar...and a growl. More roars, growls and grunts. I peeled my eyes open and what I saw further terrified me. Werewolves. They were here, but then it appeared that one of the wolves wasn't in sync with the rest.
It roared, punching the others and sending them flying. And then it sneered, making them to make a dash for it. The wolf stood, watching the direction which they all had followed, and I foolishly remained on the ground, looking at the wolf. It turned and I began ruing my foolishness. I squirmed, pulling backwards. Tears fell from my eyes. It advanced towards me and I knew I was done for.
"Please," I say as I still went on going back. "Please."
I believed my subconscious was shaking her head now, so done putting up with my idiocy. But I didn't care. I didn't care I was speaking to a werewolf, a creature that didn't communicate as humans did.
"Don't use me as meat. I...please. Believe me, I'm not gonna leave you satisfied."
It stopped. And I stopped. Foolish me, I stopped, wondering if I'd been able to strike a negotiation. It stopped, and began changing. I stared in awe, because I'd never witness a wolf shift. It morphed back to its human form. I stared, picking up its familiarity. The thing...person was stripped, and as he stood on his feet, my gaze fell on his p***s. I didn't take my eyes away, not because I admired its massiveness, but because of a more disturbing reason. "Ma...Matteo?"
