Claimed By The Rogue Alpha Chapter 80
Yosef couldn't believe his eyes. The entirety of social media had gone wild. Top of that, the rending thing on twitter was #Oliva VintageInC. He couldn't believe this. Also, he couldn't believe the person responsible for this whole drama was Andrea. The servant that had asked for a sick leave. Shit, he should have known. He left his seat and started to pace around. This wasn't good. This wasn't good! And it appeared that The Master hadn't gotten wind of the situation given he hadn't called yet. That was strange because the time was...
Yosef glanced at the clock. Eleven thirty-eight and the master hadn't called him in for briefing concerning the day's news. Had he already gotten wind of the situation and had gone into denial?
Yosef tapped the tablet close and left the room. He had to replace The Master. They had to get to the root of this by mounting a defence. It wasn't out of place to think the mansion would ne attacked anytime soon. Therefore, they had to be prepared. Yosef bolted to The Master's bedroom and knocked. He got no response, which then initiated another knock.
"Sir?"
Shit. What was he going to do? He couldn't just barge into the bedroom. Needless to say, that was beyond disrespectful. Then again, he couldn't walk away. This was urgent. And so, he persisted.
"Sir, it is Yosef." With still no reply, Yosef was moved to open the door. Damn the consequence.
The Master's bed was neatly arranged. Okay, meaning that he wasn't here? Just to sure, he called. "Sir?"
He walked towards the inner room where The Master occasionally had his meeting.
Yosef knocked, "Sir. Yosef, calling." Silence was the response he got yet, and as he opened the door to the room, there wasn't any sign of The Master.
It was unlikely he was in the bathroom. Where could he be? Yosef was standing on icicles. He couldn't wait to relay this vital piece of news. Almost immediately, something clicked in his head. The chambers. If The Master wasn't anywhere else in the mansion, then, the chambers should be it.
Yosef zapped out of bedroom, and practically jetted over the stairs leading to the chambers. As he neared his destination, strange noises filtered into his ears. He paused for a while, soon recognising what the noises were. He pursed his lips.
Shit! Wrong timing. Why did it have to be now? Yosef let out a steady breath. There was no way he could interpret The Master...or rather he could. That would simply result in a scolding. That was all. But, there was no way he could barge in without embarrassing the girl in there.
Yosef gritted his teeth. He hated to be put in a tight situation. Without any other option, he left, ready to summon the guards himself.

Leah killed the car engine, grabbed her purse from the passenger seat and stepped from the car.
She was lucky that nobody wanted to use the elevator. Hurriedly, she punched the keys on the machine, and shoved herself inside. Her heart drummed as she rode. She hoped time flew past. Getting to her apartment, she had a challenge making the keys slip into the keyhole. Her angst state couldn't bring her to make an accurate slip. After several cussing and attempts, she succeeded. Oh my god.
Her eyes took the shape of saucers while her chest heaved. Olivia was alive! She was alive! An inexplicable emotion rushed through her; she broke down in tears.
Her best friend was alive! God. She calmed herself, not wanting to get too excited. Leah knew there was a question mark on her bestie's safety. Olivia was in Brookehurt. In the den of wolves. That alone made Leah shudder. Leah broke down again. She hadn't been there for a friend. Oh, she hadn't. Had it been she had insisted Olivia remained in her apartment, all these wouldn't have happened. Instead she'd let her go and now, she was in danger. Had she been bitten? Was she starved? Although the Facebook post stated she was alive, Leah was curious about her state. She couldn't help but get worried about it.
Leah had been at her college cafeteria when two girls behind her were talking. She wouldn't have minded except she'd heard the words: that Olivia girl. That was when she'd become curious. She had gone boldly to inquire. Yes, this was her friend, Olivia. Leah had been prepared to defend her to the very last. However it'd turned out that the girls hadn't been speaking evil about Olivia, but rather had been talking about the latest discovery. And as she questioned them further, they'd showed her the post. Leah hadn't been that shocked in her life. She wasn't one to take everything hook, line and sinker, but in this case, this was Olivia in question. Any new piece of information was looked into till she decided it was useless. However this particular information frim the girls proved to be worthwhile, as there was a video attachment.
There was a red eyed wolf that took the center stage in the video. Leah deduced it was the owner of Vintage Inc. The company connected to Olivia's disappearance.
Leah's stomach gnarled up as the remembered that. Olivia was in the hands of a wolf. F**k, no. Hell, no!
A knock killed her thought. She jerked, directing her red rimmed eyes to the door.
She sniffed. "Who is it?"
"Maintenance guy."
Leah frowned. Maintenance guy? She didn't ask for a maintenance guy or was it the landlord? Nonetheless, she went to answer the door. The face behind it drained the remaining colour from her face and she shut the door.
The knock came again, with a plea. "Leah, please, wait. It's about Olivia." She shut her eyes as anger surged up. The fucker. The fucker had the guts to show up on her doorstep. She grabbed her pursed and sourced out her phone, quickly dialing up the condo security. "Leah! Listen, I know where Olivia is."
She ignored him and waited for the call to click. When it did, she said, "Hello, yeah. Apartment 369,"
"I know his name, Leah. Matteo Macini. F**k, just listen to me," Lyons kept yelling.
"Yes, as you can hear. Someone's harassing me here," she spoke to the other line.
"Listen, Leah, believe me. The dude is a murderer. He's gonna murder Olivia just as he did to my sister."
Leah froze. Had she heard him right? Her hand slowly came down from her ear and she walked to the door. With trembling hands, she opened it.
"Thank you. Listen..." He was out of breath which making Leah believe he might in fact be saying the truth. "What do you just say?"
He breathed. "We need to talk. The guy in the video is Matteo Macini. I know him, and I believe Olivia is in dire need of help."
Without thinking, Leah swung the door wide for Lyons who get in.
