Chapter 53

Outside the Lake House, the full moon is at its brightest form.

From the lustful expression and extreme flirtatious look on Louve's face, Louve started to scream for pain.

After Connor reaches his body fulfilment, he immediately hugs Louve.

"I'm sorry, love! I'm sorry if I hurt you." Connor whispered while hugging Louve tightly.

Only thing he could think of is the thought that his own touch could comfort Louve from pain.

"No, not you! There's a pain in my body!" Louve said.

"Aaarggghhhhhhh!!!" She loudly screamed again.

Alpha Connor instructed Lady Alina through mind-link, as he hurriedly dresses up and helps Louve too.

"Lady Alina, call for Athena! Louve is in extreme pain!" Alpha Connor instructed.

She vomiting plain liquids while trembling in pain and then floating things around the master's bedroom including the bed.

Alpha Connor could not help himself but panic at the sight of his mate suffering in front of him.

Lady Alina came rushing into the room with the Chief Doctor, Athena.

"Alpha -" Lady Alina could not finish her sentence after seeing the phenomenal occurrence in front of them.

Even the Doctor Athena, who is also the resident witch, could not hide their astonishment in regards to what they are witnessing at the moment.

Things floating everywhere with an aurora wave of light surrounding the room. Beautiful it may seem to look like. The writhing pain of Louve makes everything less magical and enchanting. Unfortunately, the embrace of Alpha Connor has no comfort or effect on Louve's pain. Screaming and writhing in pain is still happening.

"I thought the touch of mate could comfort Louve. Why is she still in pain? Somebody tell me, what to do?!!!" Alpha Connor panicking at the sight of Louve suffering in pain.

Despite the fascinating phenomenon, Athena started to rationalize her thoughts once again.

Alpha Connor could not bear the sight of Louve suffering. He held her tightly, and then gently caressed her face.

All the things that were floating started to fall back to the ground including the bed.

The eyes of Louve started to open and were gleaming brightly. As soon as the sound of bones cracking started, everyone knew what it meant.

Only a few souls knew about the exact location and identity of the possibility where the next Chosen One could be found. But most of those souls have died already.

A firm determination came into Athena's mind; she has to confirm her own discovery. But before that, she has to allow the mated wolves to have their own moment for the meantime.

On the other side, Alpha Connor and Clell are speechless with the breath-taking beauty of their mate.

Louve is currently still shaking off her silver fur.

Curiosity settles in and an awkward uneasiness of her being in a wolf form is taking over her senses.

"What the hell? Why am I seeing silver wolf paws? Where the hell am I?" Louve confusedly thought and pondered on while being on her silver wolf form.

She can't believe that she changed her color fur from light brown to silver fur.

"Harou, what happened? Why did you change your fur color?" Louve asked Harou.

"I don't know either!" Harou replied to her.

"But wait, I remember now... Maybe this is the time." Harou continued, "Your Mom told us before that when the time is right, you have to successfully perform the prophecy."

Louve surprised when she remember what her mother told her before and she need to be careful, because there's a lot of things she need to encounter as the Chosen One! She doesn't want to reveal herself, but this time she can't do anything to stop it. Then Alpha Connor tries to approach Louve in her silver wolf form.

"Louve, it's me Alpha Connor. You just successfully performed your shift, in a fabulous new color!" Alpha Connor informs Louve while also surprised, because he knew that Louve has a light brown fur before.

Louve started confirming through checking every part of her.

Though, others start to chuckle and smile to see a huge silver wolf checking itself weirdly and behaving awkwardly.

But the sight of their Alpha Connor caressing his own mate's silver fur exhibits such an intimate and touching moment.

At the same time, Athena could not wait to confirm her suspicion. That the silver wolf, the mate of Alpha Connor, could be no other than... The prophesized next Chosen One.

After a few moments of getting used to her silver wolf form, Alpha Connor offered Louve a run together so she could stretch in her wolf form. Louve nodded in agreement with the offer of Alpha Connor.

Immediately after Alpha Connor removed his shirt, he shifted into his wolf form and leaped outside the broken window of the master's bedroom.

Then the silver wolf followed in pursuit of Alpha Connor.

Both Alpha Connor and Louve in their wolf form started sprinting around the edges of the lake. The Louve went near the water of the lake so she could show her spirit wolf how they look in their silver wolf form. Harou, the spirit wolf of Louve, expresses her amusement in seeing their reflection against the water.

Clell took Alpha Connor's attention making him aware that their mate has stopped sprinting and they have to go back to their mate.

"You dumb ass! Our mate has stopped sprinting, go back!" Clell shout out in his mind.

Immediately after realizing that Louve is no longer behind their tail, the Alpha Connor dashed back towards their mate.

From a distance, Alpha Connor and his spirit wolf are in awe of the breath-taking presence of Louve in her silver wolf form. They could see her muzzle towards the water attempting to drink from the lake.

It seems that their mate felt tired from the sprinting which they could not blame her for. As they approach their mate, they realise that Harou may have taken over currently in Louve's wolf form.

"Hey, do you think Harou has taken over at the moment?" Curiously asked by Clell.

"I have no idea, Clell. It seems though, by the looks of it and the gleam of her eyes kind of Harou's" Alpha Connor honest response.

Then both were surprised when a voice joined in their conversation.

"Yes, it is me. Harou, spirit wolf of Louve. I requested Louve to let me take over for a while so I can experience the feeling of being in my true form. So now, let Clell take over and let our spirit wolves have their moment together in our wolf form." Requested by Harou. "Totally right! You heard our mate. Let me take over now, hurry! I want to spend time with Harou too." Clell expressed gleefully towards the Alpha Connor.

"Fine, just don't do anything stupid. Just make sure you lead our mate only around the lake. Don't go too far!"

Finally Alpha Connor gave in and allowed his spirit wolf takeover.

The two werewolves came close to each other and caressed each other's fur with their muzzles.

A beautiful moment between mates took place under the full moon beside the glowing bright lake of the Dark Moon Pack.

Alpha Connor has been exhausted accompanying and comforting his own mate. He never knew how tasking and draining it would be for him to be in such a state.

Though it might be tiring and exhausting, Alpha Connor remembers the whole time he shared and spent with Louve during these past few days, it is rewarding and fulfilling to be at your mate's side.

The Alpha was beaming in happiness despite how tiring and haggard he looked at the moment.

Athena went inside and performed a spell which created a bubble surrounding her and Alpha Connor.
