Comeback Of The Adored Heiress -
Chapter 681
Andrew’s reply was soft, tinged with a vulnerability that he rarely showed.
“I’m just thinking..
maybe I should have bodyguards shadow you every day.
The thought of losing you is unbearable.”
Madisyn offered a reassuring smile, her voice gentle.
“Don’t worry, I promise I won’t act recklessly again.
I’ve survived this-what else could hurt me? Jenna and his father are behind bars now.
No one’s going to come after me again.”
But her words didn’t entirely ease the tension in Andrew’s eyes, and he wasn’t the only one who remained unconvinced.
For the first time, Dane sided with Andrew, his voice firm.
“Andrew’s right.
Having bodyguards around you is a correct decision.”
Howard nodded, his expression serious.
“You never know what could happen.
Better to be safe.”

Glenn, ever the strategist, added, “Bodyguards won’t just protect you they’ll be there to assist you with anything you need.”
It was clear-the entire family shared the same protective instinct, their concern for Madisyn’s safety unspoken but deeply felt.
But Madisyn really didn’t want bodyguards tailing her every day!
Sensing her hesitation, the family quickly retreated.
“If you’re not comfortable with it, we can drop the idea.”
Madisyn sighed in relief, feeling the tension ease from her shoulders.
Glenn gave her a reassuring smile.
“I doubt Jenna will cause any more trouble, and I’m confident no one will dare to harm you now.”
Madisyn nodded, a soft smile playing on her Lips.
When they were still having dinner, Elaine arrived home.
She had taken a private plane the moment she learned Madisyn was safe and back at home.
The Johns family had their own private airport, but they rarely used it to keep a low profile.
As Elaine stepped out of the car, she unexpectedly found herself face -to-face with a visitor-Sarai, who had come to see Glenn.
Sarai glared at Elaine with fiery hatred, her eyes sharp and cold.
Elaine, normally gentle but now stirred by anger, said with a biting smile, “How do you even have time to be here? Shouldn’t you be at the police station checking in on Rowan?”
Sarai’s face darkened instantly.
She felt an urge to lunge at Elaine and slap her, but she held back and instead walked inside the villa.
Elaine frowned.
Sarai had the nerve to show up here to see Glenn after everything that had happened?
“Stop right there!” Elaine’s voice cut through the air with irritation.
“How do you still have the nerve to show up at my home now? You’re not welcome!”
“Do you think you are in charge of the family?” Sarai sneered before continuing inside.
Elaine’s anger flared.
She followed Sarai, grabbed her arm, and shoved her forcefully.
“Get out! With all the disgraceful things your family has done, you still have the audacity to show up here? Leave!”
“You’re the one who should leave! If it hadn’t been for your family, we wouldn’t have ended up doing that kind of thing!” Sarai shot back, her own rage evident as she grabbed Elaine’s hair, and they started fighting.
The commotion drew attention, and Glenn rushed out, immediately pushing Sarai away and shielding Elaine in his arms.
Sarai nearly toppled over, her disheveled hair falling across her face and making her look utterly pitiful.
She glanced at Elaine, who was being shielded by Glenn, and suddenly burst into laughter.
