Susan thought of the men in black who usually wandered around the ward.

Susan shifted her gaze from the floor.

She understood what he had just said and accepted this reason.

Susan nodded.

“By the way, your dad came to see me.

He wants you to work in the company.” Erick looked at her and smiled warmly.

“Your dad still cares about you, Susan.

Don’t always quarrel with him.”

Susan felt so bitter deep down.

Her dad still cared about her? She really couldn’t tell.
