Comeback Of The Adored Heiress -
Chapter 715
“How could they do that? Oh my God! I’m starting to think they broke the dress on purpose.”
“I heard Tatiana and Maxine don’t get along.
There’s definitely more to this story.”
“Even if the dress was damaged, it wasn’t Maxine’s fault.
Was that really necessary? I had a high opinion of Aria Fashion because they invited Sierra, but now I’m not so sure.”
The murmurs in the crowd began to coalesce into a consensus: Maxine had been mistreated, and many speculated that Sierra’s decision to let her wear one of her designs was a show of support.
Everyone in the venue, especially those who appreciated fashion or worked in the industry, quickly sided with Maxine, sensing her strong connection with Sierra.
Hidden backstage, Tatiana was seething with rage.
She never expected Maxine to so boldly expose her.
She glared toward the stage where Maxine spoke, her eyes burning with a silent fury, wishing she could silence her.
Determined to exact retribution, Tatiana made up her mind to teach Maxine a lesson she wouldn’t forget.
“So, I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity given by Sierra, and I want to thank her deeply,” Maxine said, bowing deeply in the direction of Madisyn.
Madisyn responded with a light smile.
“Maxine is smart,” Jared murmured quietly, his voice barely audible.

“Of course she is,” Madisyn replied, her eyebrows raised slightly in affirmation.
At that moment, Jared felt a sharp pang of jealousy.
He had done so much for Madisyn without receiving a praise, yet Madisyn seemed to show considerable favor toward Maxine.
He couldn’t help but feel a bit overlooked amid the unfolding drama.
Suddenly, the venue erupted in applause.
Voices rose from the crowd, some with a fierce sense of justice.
“Aria Fashion has gone too far! This is clearly a setup.
I refuse to believe Aria Fashion didn’t notice it.”
“Inviting someone to strut on the runway only to be mistreated? Aria Fashion, you owe us an explanation!”
The crowd rallied behind Maxine, largely due to Sierra’s influence.
Aria Fashion actually had the audacity to offend Sierra’s friend, a move that could only be interpreted as a death wish.
The manager was visibly sweating bullets.
Moments before, he had been the recipient of high praise, but now he found himself under the harsh glare of scrutiny.
The partnering executives fixed their stern gazes on him, their demands for an explanation thick in the air.
Buckling under the weight of public condemnation, he had no choice but to step forward.
“I deeply apologize,” he started, his voice laced with regret.
“The oversight was mine.
Our models manage their own outfits, which are quite valuable.
Everyone handled their garments impeccably, except for an unfortunate incident with Maxine’s.
At the time, I was admittedly upset, but in retrospect, I realize my reaction was hasty and ill-considered.”
His attempt to plead ignorance did little to quell the uproar from Sierra’s supporters in the crowd.
A voice from the audience cut through the tension, sharp and skeptical.
“You’re quite aware of what transpired.
Was this mishap genuinely Maxine’s fault?”
“We will investigate the specifics further,” the manager assured swiftly, eager to defuse the situation.
“Rest assured, we will clear Maxine’s name.”
“There’s no need for further investigation.” Madisyn had risen from her seat and was now advancing towards the stage.
