"Quite a building."

Damien stood at the front of the giant gate of the magnificent building.

"Explains why he's so arrogant and full of himself."

"But that is about to end. In the next few minutes."

He flipped the system window out. He was tempted to call out the superpower feature. He remembered the system telling him something about the superpower two days ago. He couldn't quite get the gist of it.

Also, there were quite the number of things which he was yet to figure out. But he had no time for any of them at that moment. If there was anything he wanted to do, it was to get things over with with Steven. "That's quite a bad idea.'

He pushed the window back in.

"If I use the superpower, I would break his gate open. That would already prepare his mind for what is coming."

He shook his head.

"I can't spare him the luxury of that. He should be caught unawares. In shock. Yes, he should!"

He walked to the VAS of the house and pushed the bell. He could hear the chiming of the alarm traveling across the inside of the apartment.

Not long after, the gate for legs was pushed open by a man.

"Who is that person who has a death wish?"

A man dressed in black suits stepped out, glaring at Damien.

"Who are you? Are you new around here? Haven't you heard that you don't stand and stare at this gate for more than three seconds? But you also had the guts to push the button?"

The man took a pause as he looked Damien from head to toe. The glare seated in the man's face changed into contempt.

He stared at Damien like you do when you see a mound of shit! With less regard and humanity. Looking down on him.

"Did you come to beg money?"

The man walked closer, chuckling.

"Never knew it was true that boss really gives alms to y'all... but don't you think coming to his house like this is too much?!!"

Damien figured that the man didn't know him. The man must belong to another group of Steven's army.

"What if your mates replace out about this? What do you think they'll do? Make this place a market place?" The man grunted in frustration.

"But I won't be too hard on you."

Damien watched as the man dipped his hand into his inner pocket.

"Let's replace something for you."

There was no money in the first pocket, so the man had to check the other one.

When he did, he brought out a fifty dollars bill.

"Go to one of these cheap restaurants and get something for yourself."

He reached out his hand to Damien.

"Go on, take it before I change my --"

Damien grabbed the man's hand in a handshake.

"Take the money and let go of my mind. Are you so poor and pitiful that you also needed a handshake?"

The man kept gloating.

"You poor little thing, how about I give you a hug. I'm a very generous ---"

Damien with a force in the man's hand, pulled the man into his chest and hugged him tightly.

"So rough, huh..."

The man chuckled again, patting Damien's back.

"Now let go. I've done enough. I have something to do."

But Damien wasn't ready to let go of the man. He kept on holding unto the man. For real, you'd think that he was really in need of an emoted hug. He might. "You are doing too much... let go of me now before I change my mind..."

The man was yet to add force. He was still all collected and civil, but Damien pretended as though he had no ears.

"That's it... let go you freaking bastard..."

The man wanted to pull away by force, but Damien's arms wrapped around the man was too tight to fight off.

"Why are you so strong... I said let go of me or I'll call the rest of the men on you. We are about a thousand!" "Go on and do that..."

Damien dared.

"At least try..."

"Ah---"

The man made to scream but he couldn't. Damien was pressing his chest so tightly to his super hard body... his eyes had just glowed.

The man was trying so hard to make a sound but he just couldn't. All the organs which were responsible for sound production seemed endangered.

Having had enough fun with the man, Damien put the last pressure on the spinal cord of the man and it snapped.

He let the man slid off his chest to the ground. Then he pressed the sole of his timberland boots to the man's head.

"When next you return to life, if there's anything as second life... you'd choose your words wisely. You won't look down on people because of the power you think you have."

He put a considerable pressure on the head and squashed it to pulp.

"Didn't that turd step out right now? What is taking him long? Is he tired of living?"

Damien could hear a voice coming from inside the compound. The voice was getting louder which meant whoever that was, was coming closer. Damien couldn't let the man get to the gate before him. He zoomed to the gate.

He had just discovered something very recently. After the encounter with the Viakhus. After he had been healed by the system medic and had woken up.

He had discovered that he didn't need to call the skills out anymore. In the past, he used to flip the system out and tap on the features or beckon the skills out with his fingers. Then it graduated into calling them out with his mouth. But now, he needn't do anything like such. All he had to do was think of it and he was on.

It was strange that a part of him was wanting more predators to come and haunt him. Since he had discovered that every meeting with the system medic avails him another opportunity which he never thinks

of.

Stepping into the compound, his eyes widened. No lie, the compound was super large and there were henchmen scattered around.

"Hey you, what are you doing here?"

Damien looked, it must be the man who had spoken. But he didn't have much time to talk. He didn't come for any of the men. The one who died outside was just a collateral damage.

He looked around the compound for the last time then smirked. He zoomed out of their presence towards the mansion.

"Huh? What the hell was that?"

"Didn't you see a youth standing here just now?"

What the henchmen heard next was a crash in the mansion; Damien was traveling in such great speed that he knocked the metal door of the mansion out of his way.

At that moment, he felt no pain... perhaps he would later. After all this is done.

"Black Magic!!! It's Black Magic!!!"

"The Italians are here. Protect boss!"

"Advance!!!"

The henchmen charged into the mansion. Like flies. Swarming the space.

Damien stopped at the front of the door of Steven's room. He'd been able to locate the room of Steven with the help of the system map.

Though, he was still having trouble making the zoom function stop at given places. For example, he might had had a rethink and open the door of the mansion instead of breaking it open, if only he had mastered the 'stop function' of the zoom!

But no time to worry about things like that. He observed the door of the room and noticed that it was locked.

He put his hand to the handle and turned. A current travelled from one of his fingers to the lock and melted the protruding metal which kept the door locked.

He pushed the door open and stepped in.

"Why the fuck do I have to repeat myself?! I don't want to see any-fucking-body!!!"

Steven called without turning. He was lying in a very huge bed, his back to the door. Damien looked around, observing closely, Steven seemed to be taking his medications and treatments at home. "Why didn't you go to a hospital?"

The voice made Steven turn immediately. His eyes almost popped out of his sockets when he saw Damien. But then again, he pretended as though he wasn't moved. He did it so smoothly.

Steven looked around Damien as though he was searching for something.

"These fools. Even if I told them that I didn't want to see them, should they leave me with a stranger?"

Steven grunted.

"I should teach them a lesson when I'm back on my feet."

Steven looked away from Damien as though the latter was insignificant. Looking back, his brows were cocked, eyes mean.

"For the sake of your life, lad, tell me that you are here because that old fart sent you. If no, then you'd just walked willingly into a lion's den and would obviously be devoured even to the very last bone." "No, I'm not here because of Mr Colton."

Damien shook his head, staring coldly and unbothered. Steven felt really offended.

Suddenly there came a wave of noise in the hallway, outside the door of the room.

"Boss, don't let that boy come near to you. Allow us to come in... he's very dangerous. He's an Italian... he has black magic!"

Steven suddenly looked alerted, pushing his weak up violently to seat up.

"0235671256... wire the 500 Billion into my account."

Damien took a pause. He was enjoying the look on Steven's face.

"No, you don't have to worry. It's just the money for my gold statues."

"What gold statues? Are you insane? Do you know whom you are talking to?"

"Please do not make me repeat myself!"

Out of anger, Steven ripped off the tiny medical pipe connected to his body which passed in the drip fluid.

"Do you want to die... how dare you ---"

Damien zoomed to Steven and throttled him, pinning him to the bed head.

"Come in..."

Steven was able to kick those words out before the pressure on his throat became sever. The door was knocked open and the men trouped in.

INVISIBLE GAIT.

Damien dug one of his fingers into the left eye of Steven who was struggling and fighting, one for life, the other for sight.

After a little struggle, Damien plucked Steven's left eye out and dropped him on the bed.

Steven screamed, pressing his palms to his eyes as pain writhe across his body. In a matter of time, the bed sheet was socked in blood.

"Boss... boss... what happened to you?"

"Where did he go?"

"Search for him..."

Steven who had a knife in his hand,

a knife which he had brought out when Damien was throttling him, but was too slow to use. Even while in pain, he stuck the knife in the neck of the henchman who was the closest to him.

"He's right over there. You bastards!!! He's over there!!! My eyes!!!"

Steven yelled, saliva spurting from his mouth. You would think that he had a rill in his mouth.

"Where boss..."

"We can't replace him..."

The men were scurrying around in

search of Damien. Turning

everywhere upside down like Damien was a needle. They paid no

attention to one of them who was gurgling and was being bargained for between hell and heaven. They dared not, else they would be the

next.

"He's there... you bastards!!!"

Steven yelled, pushing his body forward, dangling his hand to and fro to get another henchman down.

"Save yourself the trouble, they can't see me."

"They can't see you?"

Steven was beginning to shiver. He was dead scared.

"And you'll be the next who can't see me... if you make me repeat myself again."

Steven fell in the bed and rolled to one side,

"Hey, you... wire 500 Billion to this account..."

"Boss you should worry about going to the hospital or you would lose the other ---"

Steven hurled the knife at the fellow who dared school him. The knife stuck in the right eye of the fellow who went screaming.

"Now!!"

He screamed and one of the men got to work.

"Done!"

A man ran back in after about two minutes.

"It's done. You heard that. It's done Please spare my life."

He was pissing his pant, looking hungrily with his right eye, but Damien had left quite a while ago.

Damien, walking out of the gate of Steven's compound saw a fifty dollar bill being carried away by the breeze.

He twirled his finger and beckoned at the money which came into his hand.

He walked to the corpse by the gate and put the bill in his pocket.

"You might need to buy something in the afterlife."

He pat the man's chest and stood back up.

"Hey, you!!! What are you doing there. Did you kill him?"

A sudden voice came from behind him. Damien turned, it was a cop. He looked away at once and zoomed off.

"Hey..."

The confused cops called.

"What the hell was that!"
