Chapter 81: the drive

The night is silent so is Jerry. He glimpsed at me from time to time so I showed him an excited face. I wanna ask him so bad where are we going but I'm scared he will get even more pissed off so I rather not. After 30 mins drive we stopped in a big classy building connected to a hotel. It's classy enough. It looks like a high end bar. Jerry showed his VIP card that made us in. This place is exclusively for members. I just manage to get in because of Jerry. The music is soothing. People are drinking on their places. I think I saw familiar faces from entertainment industry but I didn't stop to confirm Jerry is moving ahead so fast. He has to meet someone so I better catch up before I get lost to this place. After a while in a private lounge an old man drinking is waiting for him. Beside him is a very attractive woman. It is Mr. Aragon a known businessman. No wonder Jerry is so anxious to be late and get bothered, he is here to settle a deal with Mr. Aragon. Apparantly the old man is going to finance his next project. The deal was closed almost instantly, they started drinking and talking about some personal stuff. I started drinking too as courtesy to the old man. Jerry is stopping me to drink too much.

"Let the lady enjoy herself." Mr Aragon exclaimed.

"She's not a drinker. I know her better."

"Ow, I see. So tell me is she you're girlfriend or is she your gift to me?" The old man asked that surprised me very much. Jerry laughed at his statement. I'm sorry Mr. Aragon she's my girlfriend. My gift will be send on next coming days." The old man laugh as well.

"I like this one though. She looks innocent." The old man continued laughing. We the girls laugh along with them.

"I'm telling you, she's not at all innocent. She's not of your level. I will get you a better one some other day." Jerry's statement challenge me behind my back. He is belittlling me in front of Mr. Aragon but it is evident that he is doing this to protect me.

"Can I dance with her atleast?" Requested the old man. Jerry gave his permission. The attendant played a classic rhumba.

"I didn't imagine that Mr Aragon is a skilled dancer." I commented.

"Thanks for the compliment! You should have seen me on my younger years. You will fall in love with me at an instant."

"I'm sure I would. You have that oozing carisma even now." I continued to flatter the old man. I found myself enjoying the dance with him. He made me giggle for his unexpected twist of bending me down, which is cool. He managed to lead me like a pro.☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
