"Laurence will be leaving in two days. He'll only be back again next year. Let's just let him enjoy himself while he's here."

Zachary and Josh nodded. They promised to keep the secret.

Laurence was still young. He knew nothing about the responsibility of avenging his family.

He did not understand why his teachers were particularly strict with him too.

No one expected him to kill, but they had to make sure that he did not get killed.

Laurence needed the ability to protect himself.

As for his revenge, the law would take care of that.

Once Laurence grew up and gathered enough evidence, all of his enemies would be brought to justice.

After the Lafayettes' case, they learned how to use the law to seek justice. They get their revenge while keeping their hands clean, otherwise it could affect the rest of their lives. The Lafayettes had been doing well since.

Those who had hurt them had received their punishment.

Perhaps death would have been a better choice for them, as living was far more torturous.

It was the best revenge the Lafayettes could get.

Sam entered.

He went to Zachary and whispered, "Mr. Lewis is here, Mr. Zachary."

"Duncan is here. I'm going to push him in."

Zachary spoke and was about to leave.

Sam added, "Mr. Lewis has bodyguards with him. He's watching Sonny playing in the garden."

Zachary sat back and told Ben, "Let's leave him be with Sonny."

Ben smiled in understanding. He asked out of curiosity, "When will Mr. Lewis and Sonny's mom get married?"

"Liberty isn't against remarrying. She and Duncan have feelings for each other. However, Duncan's the one against marriage now because he hasn't fully recovered. He's worried he might not be able to return to normal and trouble Liberty."

Zachary sighed.

After sensing Duncan harbored feelings for Liberty, he had warned Duncan that things would not go smoothly between the two of them. Liberty was a divorced woman with a son. Most people would not accept a daughter-in-law with such a history, let alone wealthy families. Indeed, Mrs. Lewis had overreacted and was strongly against Duncan and Liberty's relationship.

Duncan refused to listen to his parents and then got into an accident.

Since then, the Lewis family no longer objected to him being with Liberty. However, the price they paid was heavy. Duncan was crippled.

Ben consoled Zachary, "Let nature take its course. Duncan and Liberty had gone through many things. They'll treasure and not abandon one another."

"Liberty is in Jensburg now. I think things won't progress that fast between them. Good things take time."

After hearing their conversation, Josh said, "My journey was the easiest."

He and Jasmine had a smooth experience. No one was against their relationship, nor did they have any love rivals.

Duncan and Zachary, on the other hand, had to go through many obstacles.

Ben and Zachary looked at Josh with envy.

Meanwhile, in Jensburg, Liberty walked out of Fortress Hotel with her bodyguards. However, one of Belinda's men stopped her politely.

"Excuse me, Ms. Hunt."
