"Welcome back, Luna."

Exactly two days after Aldrick's return to the human world, Audrey decided to make a brief return to the clan to see how things were going and make sure that no one was worried about her anymore.

Audrey brought Alfan along, of course, doing all this to introduce her son to the clan members. Alfan was her son with Aldrick after all, she didn't want him to go unrecognized because she carried and gave birth to him alone without anyone knowing that she was pregnant before leaving here.

"Luna..."

Audrey smiled at Tommy who greeted her with a half bow.

"Tommy, it's good to see you're still alive."

"Thanks to Luna's love, we're all alive and no one's hurt. We're all alive because of Luna, we're glad Luna came back here."

Audrey smiled, looking at Aldrick who put his arm around her waist deliberately. The man seemed to show that he had repented and would treat Audrey with compassion and would no longer hurt her.

Walking towards the palace, Audrey looked at the happy faces of the people and soldiers who welcomed her. She felt happy that even though she was not accepted by her former husband but the citizens accepted her, Audrey felt quite grateful that they did not discriminate between who she was and who Emily was.

The palace held a banquet and they also did it as a victory for their success in killing Hernandez and also the clan traitor. Plus they also did it to welcome Audrey who had disappeared for months.

They seemed quite happy with Audrey's presence, happy that she was willing to accept them and come back with them in the shattered Clan. The woman had been destroyed by her own husband and hurt intentionally, but was still willing to do activities and anything related to the clan.

"Luna has really returned to Alpha?"

Audrey smiled and nodded at Tommy, the Beta who was her husband's assistant but helped her more in the past.

"I know she's been wrong to me in the past but that doesn't mean I'm going to keep rejecting her and making her feel unappreciated. At least I'll give him a second chance but if one day he makes a mistake again I hope he's kind to my son and doesn't have to think of me as a wife either. I've already spent my time for him even though he wasted me and if the second time he does the same thing I hope he just loves my child. Because after all, he never chose me because we were matched by fate. It's only natural that he doesn't like me and will get bored one day."

Tommy sighed, he knew what she meant by saying all that. But as a Beta he also couldn't do anything but try to protect her at all times. He would make her feel valued and stay in her place. He was determined to destroy the Alpha if he dared to play with Audrey again.

Audrey turned her head, staring at the face of Aldrick who walked over toughly.

"Where's Alfan?"

Tommy bowed in farewell, letting the two of them talk on the balcony that showcased the beauty of their clan.

"He's asleep, he's exhausted from the long journey so I brought him to my room and he's asleep. You're not tired?"

Audrey smiled and shook her head lightly. "But it doesn't hurt that it's time to go to the room because I've had enough and the program has stopped. The residents have also returned, so we might as well get some rest."

Aldrick smiled, took her hand and led her towards the room. Audrey was surprised at first because they didn't go to the main room, but instead took a left turn when they had been going to the right.

But as Audrey was led in she realized that this was like a duplicate of her room where Aldrick had never accepted her in the first place. This room looked more luxurious than the previous one and it made Audrey look at Aldrick who was already smiling gently.

"I know what you're thinking, why don't we go to the old room, right?"

Audrey nodded. "Why? Is the room ruined?"

"Hmm." Aldrick nodded making Audrey raise her eyebrows. "I destroyed it because it was the most neighborly room I ever had. It was where I was punished by the Moon Goddess, where I had brought Emily in despite not doing anything. I kicked you out of there when I hurt you so I better destroy it and make a new, better room and this room has only ever received my one and only message as a woman."

Audrey smiled softly at that, letting Aldrick hug her and carry her to the bed. The two of them made out there, with both receiving and giving. Audrey already felt grateful in her life that this man was back with her and there were no more distractions in sight for now.

Aldrick even treated her well and had no intention of breaking her heart. After the few months she had endured, after the days she had been hurt. Audrey knew that she couldn't hold herself together any better than she was right now, so she was grateful when he came back and realized that what he did was wrong.

The Moon Goddess also played a big role in this. If only Aldrick's power had not disappeared, even though he could take revenge on Emily and destroy the Hernandez clan but there was no way this man would come back to her and regret everything he did because he did not feel the need for it.

Maybe you think someday I will betray you again like before but for sure I will never do that and promise to try as hard as possible to make you believe. I know I've been mean and rude to reject you and say harsh words to you, Audrey. But I'm not a jerk who doesn't know himself. I've just been caught up with love all along and now I've found real love so I won't do what you're afraid of. I promise I will love you and our child from now on."

Audrey opened her eyes with a noticeable tiredness. When she woke up there was no Aldrick next to her, making Audrey sigh softly and look at an Omega who had smiled politely and walked towards her. "Luna, let me help you clean up."

The special treatment Audrey was getting again if she was ever even expected by the people who were here even a handful. Audrey got up and let the woman help her get ready and put on the regalia of a queen in this clan. After that, Audrey came out just as Aldrick was walking towards her.

"You're awake," Aldrick said making Audrey smile softly.

"Where did you come from?"

Aldrick pecked Audrey's forehead and lips, before taking her hand and leading her towards the dining room. "Dropping Alfan off at school in the human world. It's not a holiday anyway, so he still has to go to school." Audrey smiled softly and nodded, sitting down in her chair and fixing a serious gaze on his face. "Thank you for cooperating as a parent."

Aldrick smiled softly and then looked at the waiter who immediately brought the food to their plates.

"Of course it's something I've wanted for a long time." Aldrick said casually. "Ever since I chased after you, I've dreamed of doing that. It's just that I'm able to do it now, and that's because you accepted me so happily. Thank you very much, I haven't had a chance to say thank you yet, right? It's very kind of you to accept and forgive my huge mistake. I really appreciate and am touched by all that."

Audrey smiled and sighed. "I just hope you don't disappoint me again."

"I won't dare disappoint you again."

After saying those words, they went back to eating. Aldrick looked at Audrey's face soulfully, feeling happy that he could get this woman again. With everything he had, hopefully he could maintain their household and no longer hurt her because after all he knew that Audrey was a good person. He was the one who had betrayed her, otherwise he wouldn't have regretted it either.

After eating, Audrey stared at the expanse of the clan with Aldrick next to her. The woman looked calm while Aldrick watched her occasionally. "She is indeed beautiful, why would I waste such a beautiful and good woman?"

Aldrick smiled softly and sighed, before he finally smiled again towards the front.

"I will make sure you are happy with me, Audrey. However, I will never make that stupid mistake again. Forever, I will love you."
