Daddy's Little Whore
Daddy’s Little Whore – Part 60

KEIRA’s POV

My heart was thumping wildly as I took the steps back to my room.

I can remember how anxious I had been to leave home. To be as far as I could be from every memory that haunted my dreams every night.

Even though school was less than an hour away from here, I had been determined to leave home. But today, my room seemed like it could feel the way I was feeling.

Like my life was falling apart all around me and there was nothing, just nothing that I could do about it.

I had gone from telling my therapist that I was sleeping with to play dirty against his ex- wife to realising that Matt was playing dirty on my dad too.

It sucked to be on the other end of the table but at the very least, Marie deserved it. But there was no way in hell that my dad and I deserved to be played around by some guy like Matt.

On the other hand though, I was extremely curious to know just what the hold he had on dad was. How big could it be to have even dad backing off with his hands raised?

As I curled up in bed, I realised how badly I needed someone to talk to. Someone that wasn’t Clint that would leave me wanting to dash over to him and have my a*s bouncing on that c**k of his.

And so, after much thinking, I ended up calling Brandon.

He picked on the third ring. Only that, what I had hoped would be a phone call to make me feel better turned out to be Brandon promising to come over with Natasha for a sleepover.

The mere thought of it was exciting. I needed my best friends to tell them exactly what I was thinking and hear what they could tell me.

But I also got a little worried as I remembered what Natasha had said when I was leaving today. Was I really not being considerate about Brandon?

Somewhere along the line, I had slept off and so seeing the familiar figure of Natasha and Brandon by my bedside when I woke up had me feeling like I had gotten some present.

“Oh my gods! I had no idea you guys were going to be here soon, I totally wouldn’t have dozed off.” I apologised quickly and then glanced at Natasha.

I hadn’t expected that she was going to come but now that she was here, I sneaked a peek to be sure everything was fine for the both of us. Her expression was just like normal, warm and level headed which made me feel a lot better immediately.

“Brandon said you sounded out of sorts so I decided to tag along. How are you?”

After some small talk with the both of them, I rushed downstairs to have the chefs prepare varieties of snacks that could get us through the rest of the day and the night.

When I got back upstairs, both of them were already dressed in more casual outfits and I jumped right into bed with them.

Having the both of them around not only made me feel better, it also made me feel like I wasn’t exactly at home even though I was.

Usually, I would pour out my heart and allow them to hear all my troubles. Everything that was wrong with me but Natasha’s words were like a wake up call for me and so this time, I decided that I didn’t want this sleepover to be about me.

We were long due for some bonding season either way and what better way to do it than in the princess room of a tycoon’s only daughter. And yes, a room that came with free snacks!

“I’m sorry I had to get you both so far just to help me, I totally wasn’t expecting that Brandon would do that. But…”

“….now that we are here, we can catch up on each other’s life. The last week was hell for me and the week before that was just as messy. I sort of feel like we haven’t spent a lot of time together recently,”

Brandon nodded as I talked while Natasha shrugged slightly. I made a mental note to ask her what was wrong later on if I didn’t hear it from the catch up.

“Okay, I’ll go last and then we can go for the games,”

My two best friends looked at me in shock like I had said some alien language but I guess they were just not used to me giving away the spot to go first.

“I’ll go second,” Brandon said and that automatically left Natasha with the first.

She rubbed her palms for a while before she finally spoke up. “There’s not been a lot going on for me. Last week had all of us scared out of our minds at what could happen to you if you lost your dad and I think it got to us real bad.” She paused and sniffed a little, making me feel guilty immediately for not realising that.

“You know, you have already lost so much, you didn’t deserve that. And worse case scenario is you might have had your entire life going down an entirely different line if anything had happened to your dad,” she continued and I nodded in agreement.

Any thoughts I had towards Natasha being angry with me vanished with her words. She cared enough to think of all of these?

“Brandon was just as affected and thankfully, I was just lucky to have stumbled on him in the act of giving up his foreign transfer slot. Otherwise, I don’t know what could have happened.”

Foreign transfer slot? What was that?

“What foreign transfer slot?” I asked, confused.

Brandon looks up at me at the same time that Natasha did and as the two of them turned to look at each other in dismay.

I felt like I was being pushed down another bad old drain.

Brandon was going on a foreign exchange transfer that usually happened around this time of the year and I knew nothing?

Nothing at all?
